^^^. Did you read the post's by NIN's with your brain at work? Give an example of the discouraging statement thats making you refer to all Nigerians as confused people. And am i to suppose you're the only unconfused nigerian because you can keep mum while you and the rest of your fellow nationals are referred to as monkeys by some low life lunatic in some foreign country?

@jakumo, Ngr like every developing nation has got its fair and lets face it unfair share of problems, corrupt customs and police officers, bad roads, no electricity, insecurity and the list goes on. But it is no less a country of a 150M people in varying levels of existence from extremely good to downright terrible, to presume that all the negative factors are going to rain on you all at once for daring to live the comfort of your foreign base gives new meaning to 'GIGO' Garbage in Garbage out - and i'm left to wonder what u've been feeding on.

@marcdunu, Did u just wake up from a coma? Pls look at the date carefully its now 2010!
So the presumed demands of a bunch of criminals on a rogue general is enough to determine the direction of your vote? I wonder how much your vote is worth.

^^^ if dats your plan then i'm sorry its not qualified 2 be called a plan. U cant start from the top wen u've got no foundation, the pdp is entrenched in ngr and 2 have chance u've got to fashion out a bottom up process if u want to start now, goodluck 2 u. The pdp is the key to nigerias presidency. the only other thing that wld matter would be power(incumbency), and they've got both! Dats y Ribadu, Utomi and whoever u're fantasizing abt stands no chance.
Politics › Re: 2011: Ohanaeze Backs Jonathan by wesley80(m): 8:31pm On Oct 16, 2010
@Onlytruth, i've read your feeble attempts to justify your capricious change in ideology and i believe it is at best pathetic. To say the least i believe those that have spent time arguing with u on this forum trying to get you to see reason and switch sides all this time deserve much better an excuse for your sudden whim. What would it take to admit you got it wrong and move on? What silly pride u've got! And to turn around and say NL is full of 'clueless kids' when it is you dat has clearly displayed the attributes of a political nymph in failing to see what others saw ages back is nothing but an indictment of your proud self. As much as i'm glad u've turned around to see sense, the thought that all these has been about pride to you is sickening to me. Please get a life!

@ kobo, very good of you to identify the problems, so what solution do you proffer?
Politics › Re: 2011: Ohanaeze Backs Jonathan by wesley80(m): 6:24pm On Oct 16, 2010
@Aisha,maimalari,
Never underestimate the effect or such an endorsement. Its effect is not only on the uneducated who are usually driven by the 'bandwagon' effect but also on the educated no matter how driven they are by some sense of ideology-take for instance 'Onlytruth' a staunch anti gej campaigner, all it took for him to throw away ideology was an 'unverified ohaneze statement! (lol) u see?
Politics › Re: 2011: Ohanaeze Backs Jonathan by wesley80(m): 6:02pm On Oct 16, 2010
@Chyz, Could you please stop saying GEJ exonerated MEND? if you say both illiterates and intellectuals interpreted it the same way then i also maintain that the only one's that saw his statement as an exoneration were ignorant illiterates and senile intellectuals and i hate to think u belong to either of those groups.
@topic , if this turns out to be true then its credit to ohaneze for showing they've got progressives in their fold that are willing to lead the rest of their people into the new nigeria thats on the horizon.
@onlytruth, welcome on board and just right about time!

^^^ What does it matter if he invited a student from Japan to proffer solution to a problem no one within the country can solve? Should he discard every idea on the grounds that it didnt originate from inside ngr? What good wld dat do anybody? Call him a hypocrite if u like afterall na u get your mouth but let me ask u this, how many public office holders that have gotten to his level can beat their chests and say they believe and have educated their children on this shores? How many?

Politics › Re: Why Nigeria Will Remain Doomed! . . . . . . : Dr Olusola Osineye by wesley80(m): 9:03pm On Oct 14, 2010
Absolutely nothing new here. just a typical Nigerian armchair critic with a crafty use of the English language telling us what we all know - Nigeria has failed (so far) as a nation. But just like I've come to expect from the nations harshest critics, he fails to point a way forward or prescribe a panacea for the failures he so easily could see, so I'm surprised at the queuing up in support of an article that thinks its audience are collectively silly! If as he claims, the Yorubas are, well perharps he's speaking as an insider I wouldnt know but to say Nigerians are collectively silly, I beg to differ and I take an exception to that. Also I dont see the sense in an article that seems to believe our biggest handicap is our collectiveness as a nation. The writer fails to realize that a problem we cant overcome as a nation would not be overcome as separate entities. If one million ppl can hold d rest 149 million to ransom in Ngr, then why wont 500,000 hold fifty million to ransom in an Odua republic? Our greatest strength is our collectiveness and i refuse to see it as our greatest handicap, of course it has cost us dearly as a nation and set us back in more ways than not, but the challenge of every great nation on the planet today is rising above its most difficult challenges to attain its true potentials which even our harshest critic can not deny we do have.

revolt:
Like I said ill state the obvious. There is no se SS unity. They hate us even more than the northerners who have inflicted and meted out so much injustice on them. Perhaps you may need to visit the SS. They don't even accept the igbos in delta. That's how much they hate igbos. For no reason or justification just envy.
Just listen to your silly self!

Dede1:
Bros, as you rightfully stated in your post, I am not into these goofy nomenclatures such as SS, NN, NNE or NNW. If it’s the Efik, Ijo, Urhobo or Itsekiri that exudes hatred towards Ndigbo, such group should be stated publicly instead of the so-called SS. There is no doubt of nonexistence political middle ground between the people of southern Nigeria. I have no intentions to encourage any form of mutual political understanding among the people of southern Nigeria this time around.

@Onlytruth Yes you're right it was GEJ , but if u were in his shoes wat would u have done barely 2 months into an administration that u still had people questioning your authority? Would you have set the dogs out to chase an org.that still had public opinion massively in their favour esp in your own home region? Or would you have done what any rational Nigerian leader would do in waiting for public opinion to sway and have a sound footing b4 making your move? Lets not act like Nigeria is an ideal place like the US where everything seems 2 work becos GEJ is on the throne. Someone started a thread that Nigerians do not deserve a leader like GEJ and i quite agree cos if we had an OBJ or IBB dat would do their thing without recourse 2 wat d average nigerian thinks, by now this would have been a 4gotten issue and their re-election wld still b sure, yet GEJ is shouting himself hoarse trying to make a point and there he is being hounded by u and i. May God help us.
