i wonder what the difference is between "ibo" and "igbo"

you know, there's the crime forum. maybe someone should just create a "cursing" thread on there where people can curse each other out as they like.

the only times i try make-up is in my mom's room. but i really don't use it either!   does lip gloss count?
i use chap stick mostly though.

i'm 5'4 or 5'5 somewhere aroud there. people said i've grown taller so i really am not sure.

@hotstepper, A LOT of people say i'm skinny too even though i don't think 116 pounds is skinny  i know people who are way skinnier then that. But i guess looking young makes you appear more skinny than you actually are.
so i had to gain weight. i did but i'm loosing them again!.. .

i hear make up makes you look older!

@Hotstepper, like vexxy used to say, trust me, you'll thank God that you look younger than your age when you turn 50. then you'll look only 30 or less when most people look older.


my grandma looks young too. my mom said that people mistook them for sisters instead of mother-daughter sometimes!!! (no, my mom doesn't look that old).

maybe you guys should cut down on the pidgin. even the adults don't speak ibo no more. Pidgin is like the ibo language so if ibo americans understand/can speak pidgin, i guess that's a good sign.

If your parents used the "real" ibo language w/ you 24/7 in the house (especially when you're young and didn't start school yet) and all your parents' friends and family use it w/ you 24/7. There's no doubt you won't understand it (at least you'll understand a little).

i have a friend who's ibo but knows more Yoruba than she knows Ibo. (pidgin's the only "ibo" she knows)
