I thought the other dark guy that worked alongside w/ him was cute though. I forgot his "acting" name, something hernandez (I've always tried to figure out where that name came from lipsrsealed)

FashionRe: Why Do Women Of African Descent Relax/perm Their Beautiful Hair by WesleyanA(f): 9:59am On Dec 10, 2006
I personally don't have qualms w/ perm.
I think it's harder to maintain though + it damages hair if you don't maintain it right. everyone to his/her own
people most def. don't perm their hair to look white although it'll be nice to see more people sporting afros.

ThiefOfHearts:
Lol. I'm ashamed of you girls

Defending yourself to some lunatic. "oh I have natural hair sir, will you like me now!"

"but it's not our fault sah, it's just hard to maintain, please forgive us sah"

I beg, let me hear word.

To the guy who started the thread. How about you let your hair grow out, never comb it and go around. After all, what's natural about getting a hair cut? You and Mcshaka can go around looking like people who just escaped the asylum together.

What the hell does hairstyles have to do with self hatred? You do know white people get perms too, however their perms make their hair curly. It's our hair, we were born with it. We can do whatever the hell we wish with the hair. No one bothers you on whether you leave yours out or get it cut so why are bombarding these females with stupid questions? Yea comparing perming the head to getting a nose job makes alot of sense. Btw Lauryn wears wigs/weaves more often than not.
Oh God! *dies* cheesy cheesy

the "lauryn wears wigs/weave" hit me on the nerve though. Just like when i was little and realized santa wasn't real.
sad i want my hair just like hers.

back to Yoruba actors/actresses.
I presently can't think of one that's not cool.

kanayo o kanayo is cool too (i watched one of his movies where he acted the role of a secondary school kid. with the shorts and uniform. it was weird 'cause he doesn't look all that young. he was great though. lol)

many yoruba families have that rule.

TV/MoviesRe: Yoruba Actors And Actresses In Nollywood Are Better? by WesleyanA(f): 5:29am On Dec 06, 2006
i wonder why you're on here.
The reason i actually came on this thread is because it's not lame like the rest of the other ones that are stupid & filled w/ name calling, although they're funny in their own ways.
It's 'cause i actually liked ThiefofHearts's posts.

maybe you can tell me why yoruba movies aren't considered part of nollywood, mr zulunation huh
