rocboi90: Its either these are leaders think we are fools or they them selfs are foolish without them knowing! When its cake the whole of Nigeria has to hear it,in other to deceive themselves that they are transparent.if they had wanted to be a 100% transparent they should have mentioned the name of the marketers that sent it,then also mention the name of the marketers that have made attempts to bribe them! And the marketers indicted. My opinion its all just acting! Although I appreciate their work, but they shouldn't try to claim righteousness.this is just a check on the excesses in the oil sector,I don't really see anything coming out of all this.but there has to scape goats, and I bet the small marketers would have to take the fall. This shows an almost working Nigeria, now there are hurdles although not totally effective, but now people now realize that they cannot just steal and get away with eat easily. I like this new emerging Nigeria, where the public now keep a watchful eye on government activities and are quick to raise alarms if they are unsatisfied. Kudos abi dem put juju inside. oil marketers wan show love |

Kobojunkie: a) Privatization is not what you are being offered here, or what people are complaining of. If you cannot comprehend English Language, then I suggest you go get some lessons fast. okay, what is being offeredKobojunkie: b) That said, Privatization is good when properly managed. As it stands, Nigerians pay some of the highest rates for telecommunication in the world. I don't think it would then make sense to follow that up with equally high electricity bills and probably water bills next, in addition to high petrol bill. can you compare what you pay for phone bills in the 90's to now?Kobojunkie: c) Those in Nigeria who actually pay their taxes will tell you that they pay just as about as much in taxes as those who live in America do. Yes, I am guessing you are one of those who continues to SKIP OUT on paying your taxes in Nigeria or you do not have property down there or any business through which you are able to do so. So enough of the BULL that Americans pay more in taxes than Americans do. Ask the average market woman in Lagos who has been paying taxes(mandatory) for the last 2 years at least, and the percentage of her income she pays in taxes is about the same as a market woman in anywhere America, even close to Illinoise rates. you also know many people try to skip out abiKobojunkie: If you cannot comprehend English Language, then I suggest you go get some lessons fast . Um . . Yes ma |

pato405: @Faithin9ja.
I can see you really do have faith in 9ja.
do you have any idea how much Nigeria makes a day? do you have any idea how much senators and house of rep members earn? do you have any idea how extravagant this government is? do you have any idea how much is being loot from national treasury on daily basis? do you have any idea how much our politicians are worth courtesy of their loots?
do a better research and i'm sure you'll drop your jaws for one hour and stare in bemusement. do you know how much you would have taken if you were in their shoes (insult not intended)? Ask most Nigerians if they want to go to America, you will hear an ear blocking yes. Do you know how much Americans pay for tax? Nigerians pay little tax as much as i know. Do you know how many decisions obama has taken since the recession? If America was Nigeria you will certainly hear people say "that black fool, blacks and their black brain" |

Pls nobody should misunderstand me,assuming the telecommunications system has not been privatised and Gej decides to privatise it now, what would have been your say? Everyone would have said "Gej don come again,he one chop masses money". |
