Girl, You obviously don't know what you are saying! I feel you are insecure about something, maybe newly deported or still looking for visa, but I doubt you are outside Nigeria. Who broadcast work permit when the permanent residence and citizenship are still long way away? You have been there for 15 years and now just getting a work permit? Your stories don't add up. You smell of crisis and must state your problem so we can figure out how to help you. And whose business is it my choice of water? Forget well water, I can't drink sachet water and some bottle water, hit your head on the wall! You have many problems but Uk is not one of them! erico2k2: Guy I will repeat again speak of what you know, who told you I don't k now the system, my wife and family are in PH, Im in Nigeria min 4 times a year, I don't live in the UK I only work here, so what are you on about security as if its not same Nigeria I fly in and out every now and then abi nah Moon you dey.Guy I have lived abroad for over 15 years so don't come here saying I'm being irresponsible, I should be the one lecturing you on the western ways of living. If you are talking about kidnappers well I live in PH my parents are in Delta stae, so I travel fru the east west rd down SS when I go see them each time I get in 9ja why them never kidnap me, I also travel with my daughter who is 12 years Old and Mix race nothing don happen for all the times,STOP dont be amongst those people wey dey form say they cant drink well water sake of say them come from abroad, there is nowhere like Home full stop. |

You must have hearing or vision problem! Whatever you have against them will rot in you. Tinubu should have been held accountable by Lagos if anything just like your past governors should be. Obj is not corrupt according to Jonathan, that's why he didn't probe him. Now let's see how Buhari's change message and Gej administration plays out. BlackTechnology: So OBJ and Tinubu are saints

Politics › Re: Senate Presidency: APC Leaders Push For Saraki by whitecat1: 6:29am On Apr 05, 2015 |
You have time sha! The people who are saying bad things don't even know anything about him. They are ibos who are driven crazy by his name and tribe that's all. They are talking trash not because he's not qualified but for them to be able to tell Yoruba how Buhari cheated Tinubu(an equal partner in the merger) out of his administration. Ibos are vindictive and would say Jesus is corrupt if he had a Yoruba name. femialiu: People talk of Saraki in a bad light..but is the man really that bad...just to mention a few. 1. He was the one that exposed the fuel subsidy issue as the then chairman of NGF. 2. He was the one that harmonized the NGF and made it politically relevant 3. He has been shouting about kerosene subsidy and even took it upon himself to conduct a research nationwide on how much kerosene is actually being sold for. This is a policy that should favour the masses. Saraki is one of Diezani greatest headache. 4. He led other PDP senators to decamp from PDP to APC...infact, he submitted the letter to David Mark which mark didn't accept. 5. He stood his ground against the appointment of Koro as a minister and when David Mark insisted, he led the walk out. 6. He worked assiduously for the election of GMB despite the fact that GMB jailed his father (talk of politics without bitterness). 7. Bukky is the leader of APC in the north central and GMB won in 4 states out of 6. 3 of the 4 states won are PDP governed states (Kogi, Niger and Benue) losing in Plateau and Nasarawa with very small margin.
Follow him on twitter and you will understand Bukky is not as bad as the media has made him look.
I was born and bred in Ilorin, ABS as foundly called performed as one of the best governor in Nigeria...He championed some laudable project and even though he "ate the yam", you can not compare him to the likes of suswam or orji. He started most of the things fashola did in Lagos that people are hailing him e.g clearing of Oja Oba, Kw WA, sweeping of the road, planting of trees and flowers, completely renovated Kw State oldest school and many other schools, started Kw State University, distributed free text books to all state owned secondary school students, even Kw United got to Confederation cup during his time....Yes he is corrupt just like most politicians in Nigeria...but his 8 years as Kw State Governor left the state much better than he met the state... |

I do not expect you to make sense. Wait and ask me when I start running to be a president, you don't take a job you can't do. Jonathan couldn't the work he was hired to do and was voted out. Medley: I have not written this to convince you that GEJ is our best president. I know i can't fathom the level of hate you have for him.
Have you managed a group of 20 people in a project/task before? Because some of you saying he failed 0/100,will be swallowed by just the daily task of running a govt. |

Let him handover power to even Satan the devil himself and see if he lives to tell the story! What is hard is to expect everyone to drink the hogwash you are shaking. Write from now till eternity about how Jonathan is the best thing since sliced bread, it won't stop him from facing the music when the time comes. Medley: I know its very difficult to make Nigerians see the hard truth. Don't worry he will decide to handover power to the military by may 29,i am sure this is the kind of news that keeps you happy. |

Jonathan had no choice jare! he knew he was surrounded and not only going to be Gbagboed, but come out of Asorock in a body bag! He just put his life first and did what was in his best interest which was a good thing for him, so forget about all the image making threads for jonathan, no soap can wash him clean! |

We didn't need your support when SNG marched to bring about Jonathan and it's not going be any different if we find ourselves in the same situation. SW is known for single-handedly taking on crisis like this while the rest of you hide under your wives wrappers. Yoruba will continue to lead in civil rights movements. kettykin: The previous episode of jonathan taking over from yaradua will not be supported when it happens between Buhari and Osinbajo the south west would have to battle the north for that as they would not get support from the SE ,MB and SS |

You are one smart cookie! Ibo rigged for jonathan but card reader couldn't let them go all out. Shettima is stupid for saying that, I think ibos cry was deafening so he had to come out and say that to pacify them but, not knowing he's setting Buhari up to be held hostage. If he was smart he wouldn't have mention any name since we know what ibos actually did during the election. He should have just said all Nigerians. What is he trying to say to those who went all out for Buhari? That it's ok if you don't support us next time, it won't make any difference anyway? dayo23: I don't believe it, the ibos didn't just come out to vote, they all relly on ringing which was the normal PDP method, I think the card reader makes the difference. Kudos to Prof Jega! |

Are you ibos under a generational curse? We said do you, we are not interested in you! Which solidarity? we said we Yoruba are not your friends or brothers! How long will you continue to hang on our tails. We have nothing in common, take care of your business and let's take care of ours! We didn't give birth to you, and we are not your Nanny! Stand on your feet ibos! Don't trust Yoruba, just trust yourselves! cjrane: Whatever happens is politics. God is teaching the SS and SE a lesson they have failed to learn in Nigeria. Your enemy is not the Haus, but Yoruba.
The tragedy is when you forget your mistakes and repeat the same mistakes over.
Yoruba that have been preaching southern solidarity under Obasanjo and even Abiola's time, has sold out again fellow southerners again. It is not exactly a surprise. But you should remember this when they come back shouting southern solidarity to deceive you into voting a Yoruba man. |

You said 'work Jan to Nov, buy your ticket and you will have extra for pocket money". So what does that mean? Some people don't even have to stay for 11 months before going home. I have a friend that goes to Nigeria 3 times a year and told me that she announced when she got home that "they(the kidnappers)would lose if they attempt to abduct her, cos she has no money and America doesn't pay ransome" The fear is real, friend. You don't know anything about the system, if you do, you would have known that it's different stroke for different people. In all my years, I have never thought of how people should go home and when, so I don't quite get your point. but one thing I do know is that you are very wrong for throwing figures in the air, and that makes you come across as very irresponsible. You just got here! How many people do you actually know that would tell you their legal status? I for one just know about my close friends. I can't really say much about security in the US cos, I work and live in the city, all I have between my home and job is less than 15mins. I go out with a company at nights and have never been robbed or attacked. erico2k2: ahah U r very funny, I said if you worked from jan to Nov you will have enough money for tkt, and a bit to flex,I never said save and talking about security, its a natural state of o nes mind, we all have our own level of security and reactions of insecurity, ie I might be comfortable i n walking through Oshodi 12AM you might not you get me? |
