So Nigeria have finally happen to me, I thought if I save a little to the 5M I have, it would be able to leave this country by next year.

But right now, it is impossible, I saw on Twitter how a lady was begging money for flight ticket which was about 2.2M, just flight ticket o.

Months ago, a relative of mine told me someone is looking for a dependent and he will connect me to the person, he said the payment was 4M and I was not going to pay much after that and I will stay with the person in the UK before I settle on my own but I was forming big girl saying I will do my process by myself.

Now look, dollar have increased, the money is now worthless, anyway when there is life, there is hope.

Nairaland please help me think of a business to start with 2M, I can't just leave the money in the bank to keep on depreciating.

Thank you
First of all, convert that money to dollars to avoid it deteriorating further

Good afternoon Nairalanders, pls I need your advice. I’m married 28 years, no children yet. Newly wedded, I have a problem. I don’t last long on bed. I cum very quickly and it takes a long time like 4 hours for me to get another erection and most times it’s not very hard like my first erection.

I was told the nitric oxide in my body is low. Pls I need help. How do I boost my nitric oxide in my body or if there are any supplements let me buy.

I’m afraid if I don’t do anything now my wife might eventually cheat in the future. I no longer have my morning erection like some guys do. I have exercise, did ginger, garlic, bitter Kola nothing seems to be working.

What can I do to remedy my situation. Pls no talk of hospital health wise I’m very okay. No diabetics or anything no infection pls help me so I can save my marriage and my myself.

I don’t know if you will see this, but if you do, please, it’s not too late for him to go to Europe and play football.

It’s also not too late to allow him study comp science in a private school.

You can rent an apartment for him without the knowledge of the dad and from there, finance how he’ll pursue his dreams.

Your husband is too proud and authoritarian

FamilyRe: My Girlfriend Wants To Travel Abroad Without Marrying Me by WhiteWolfe: 3:16pm On Feb 07, 2023
Lifeinbits:
Myself and my girlfriend have been dating for almost three years that she sometimes stays in my house too. I have always had the intention of traveling abroad but i don't know how, so last year my girlfriend brought the idea of traveling and how she wants to try US study route and I encouraged her to do so. I also supported her so much with my money by helping her to pay her application fee and TOEFL exam.

While doing all these, we had a conversation and she told me that if she is able to get a fully funded offer that we will be going together and I will be going with her as dependent. Now my girlfriend has gotten admission but she is yet to apply for visa and she has changed plans. She does not want me to go with her rather she is advising that I should also use the study route ifi want to travel.

Note : we had the intentions of getting married but right now she doesn't want us to get marry.
Hey, use study route as well and when you get there, you'll marry her (No guarantees though, cos the easiest way to stay in the US permanently is via marriage of a citizen). If your marriage is too close to when she's travelling, they'll know that you married cos of that and they'll deny you entry while they allow her. If after they denied you, you decided to go via study route, they'll know that you want to go and be with her. They might deny you again.

I don't know if you get what I'm saying but all the best sha

But we may not know the full story here but it's indeed painful to hear stories like this.

I wonder how some women prioritise affairs over their children's future.

But if u are close to 25 of age I don't expect u to be in that house.
My dad was still sending me money when I was 25. Today I send him money without him asking. So enough of your bullshit ideology

Hehehe I am not a lawmaker but i dont think it will affect those already here

UK Univerisities are already enjoying the money Intl students bring and how they help fill their classes

I believe they wont stop the dependent thing, but they will put a cap somewhere

That being said, they're torchlighting Nigeria but leaving China and India for some reason smiley

From the article -

The Home Office are considering restricting visa applications only to those who have completed studied in high-demand subject areas, such as engineering, the Times reports.

Just as I predicted
Can't blame them. Nigerians are not moving in order to study. One student visa is issued, then 6 dependent visas are also issued. Will all the 6 dependents work and contribute to their economy? No.

I applied for a US visit visa during my MSc study and it was granted within two minutes (I attended a conference though, so I related it to my research and study). Just go with the necessary documents, a letter from your university stating your current status, your relative, your BRP card, and your bank statement. A great tip is to apply through their Belfast office as they hardly deny it there. That's where all my friends did theirs and they approved it for us all. Also, try to make sure you have your appointment early in the morning and like the first or second they will attend to. Cheers!

That's deceit and lying to the authorities to enjoy benefits they weren't entitled to. We need to stop supporting things like this.
This is why our country is useless and we're all leaving. Imagine him supporting people doing sham marriages if they'll be law-abiding.

I think Sub-Saharan Africans are wired this way inherently, we only unlearn and get wiser as we grow, however, some refuse to grow even though they've moved to a "saner clime".

That's really fast. It's normally when you do super priority you get that kind of quick decision. Applied 4 weeks ago, standard application normally 6 - 8 weeks. Hoping to hear from them by October.
Within or outside Nigeria?

I got mine in 10 working days

My 17 years old brought shame to me last year she got pregnant, I have disowned her and sent her packing. She is staying with her boyfriend in his family home.

She gave birth 5 months ago she has been sick ever since she had the baby and the boyfriend doesn't have any money to take care of her. Plus the living condition is not suitable for her in her condition.

I have forgiven her and I want to take her back home so I can take her to the hospital for treatment but I don't want her to come with her baby. Please note there is only me and my 7 years old son at home. I work and my son goes to school till 5pm.

I don't have time to babysit the baby.
I want the father to take care of his child while I take care of mine.
I hope my decision is not bad?
Age of consent in Nigeria is 18. Send that boy to prison so that you can have your family back

Very close to the town centre. I am pretty sure there will be Manchester buses 8 to Shudehill and 37 to picaddilly gardens stops close to you. Journey to Manchester is about 50mins with 8 and 1hr 5mins with 37.

Train ticket is 4.90 one way and 7.50 return.
Thanks ma'am, seems I underbudgeted for train/bus.

Please how realistic is my budget below?

Depends on where you get house in Bolton itself. You go add travel time from the house to the railway station.
Bolton station is about 30 minutes or so away from Manchester Oxford Road station, from where you fit use leg reach St. Peter's Square in like 10 mins.
I'm happy I'm on this forum sha. Thanks for the response. Ticket from Bolton Station to Oxford Rd Station, to and fro is how much please? And is there a monthly subscription available. The street is "Bromwich Street, BL2"
