ProgrammingRe: Simple C-codes That Still Confuse Me by WhiZTiM(m): 2:43pm On Mar 26, 2015
crotonite:
//swaps two atomic variables of any type

int a = 10, b = 20;

a ^= b;
b ^= a;
a ^= b;

/*when the two variables are printed, they are automatically swapped */

please how does this work? smiley
I assume you know a bit of binary numbers. And that "^" is a binary xor operator. And "^=" is the same, but accumulatin

Consider a 4bit integer.

int x = 2; //in binary, x = 0010;
int y = 5; //in binary, y = 0101;

Here's a truth table for xor operations.
0 xor 0 = 0
0 xor 1 = 1
1 xor 0 = 1
1 xor 1 = 0

...so
Lets see...
x ^= y;
x = x ^ y;
x = 0010 ^ 0101;
x = 0111;

y ^= x;
y = y ^ x;
y = 0101 ^ 0111;
y = 0010;

x ^= y;
x = x ^ y;
x = 0111 ^ 0010;
x = 0101;

....understood??

...But, why did'nt Seun setup his company yet? Bill started like this, and likewise google. The vision of Seun is limited to a forum. I can never choose a nigerian as my mentor. They are most visionless, and love repetitive works. They love to become an experts in someone else field, but ain't creative enough and innovative. All fields of life were invented by foreign nations, in which nigerian only learn and become esperts.

This is my opinion.
Hahaha...
First of all... ...OP, quit drugs... smoking weed ain't good for you.

Secondly, I will like to know ya village. It seems illiterates plenty for ya place.

Quips aside... ...just trying to laugh here...
Please don't say you can't have a Nigerian as a mentor. That statement is outright WRONG.
No offences meant, but I think you haven't been exposed to meet lotsa Nigerian bright minds.

ProgrammingRe: Software Developers Could Save Nigeria After Oil - Mark Essien by WhiZTiM(m):
Well, theoretically true.

But to accelerate that, we need policies that encourages software developers. Such as those regarding intellectual property.

To a large extent, we need a bit of tech savvy leaders wielding some administrative offices in Nigeria.
HealthRe: RIP DJDOLA- We Will Miss You by WhiZTiM(m): 1:50am On Mar 14, 2015
I think the Mom should be our primary concern first.
DJDOLA mentioned his Mom a number of times, and from what we know, she stood by Him. We are not ruling out other family members here, but I maintain the Mom be given preference of the highest other.

Option 3 is a bit ok.
Frankly, Even if we give the Mom cash, it can be sabotaged, either by force, or by some, religious or traditional ploy(or better still, coercion)... Except if the family members are "good".

Strongly keeping the above^^^ in mind, I suggest we include some form of "managed assistance" to her. (as previously raised by some members)
Managed assistance could be in the context of Medical Insurance, Empowering her with some skills, working on her Shop, etc.
NOTE: For every item under managed assistance, She SHOULD NOT be given the money. Rather, we engage her and find her pressing needs; and (...etc... there are tons of people better than I am in this kind of thing...)

So, my little take is...
Lets cast this in two fold,
1. Unmanaged Assistance: ---Cash
2. Managed Assistance: ---Not Cash

I suggest (For those who are inclined to option 3,) we vote on an assistance cap... For example say, from 400K.
Then, ration the concluded cap into Unmanaged and Managed.

Whatever we are spending on DJDOLA's bereaved family, our greatest bias(preference) should be towards the Mom.

Regards,
Timothy

@OP. . . . Hmmm... lemme try and be a little reasonable here...

Sorry to burst ya bubble, ...can't work this way.
You are only trying to count on serendipity. and secondly, building castles in the air

I doubt any competent person will take you serious.

Lets see what is missing here...
1. No sane person does business with people who He has no track record of
2. Your missions are smokes and mirrors. (I hope you know what Smokes and Mirrors mean?)
2. How on earth can you measure if somebody's standard is Facebook, etc?
3. WTF! ...You haven't even executed one project, you already have 18? ...ingenious!

Free Advise, if you want to organize a remote team for something you are passionate about, You must first build a portfolio, and a reputation.. ...this, unfortunately takes some years.

ProgrammingTrue Random Number Generation - Fun by WhiZTiM(op): 12:13am On Mar 04, 2015
It is popular among mathematicians that generating a true random number is very close to impossible with our current technology of deterministic devices.

In simpler terms, it means that "If you give a Computer, and it's (Pseudo) Random Number Generator, the same starting and finishing conditions, it will produce the same number over and over again".

For the fun of it, I think our Nigerian Mathematicians aren't gunning for some recognition here..

I mean... PHCN... (^_^)..

Rather than seeding your PRNG with some other random seed, you can seed it with the exact timepoint which PHCN cuts and restores Electricity ... (^_^)

Aggregating and Modeling PHCN's behavior (throughout Nigeria), you'll get a truly nondeterministic system... ..I think . . ... smiley grin grin

You are so dumb that your expression betrays every iota of intelligence in you. You are such a sad excuse for a human being! I followed DJOLA's case ....and reading this, I am all sober with this issue, only for me to sight stupid skeptics including you writing trash! I am so enraged!!

I will stop at insults and shall not curse you, but rather, may God have mercy upon you and those who can/may/will be affected by this your 'costly' silliness...

In fact, kowema, WAKA!!

By the way, what are your system specs?

Then, I used my old 2007 model Dell Vostro Notebook. 2Ghz Core2Duo. 2GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce 8400GM (128MB RAM, 16 CUDA cores, Cuda compute 1.1, 2007 model).... I still use that trusty old PC for some programming.

Cycles was/is pretty slow there. I haven't spent any reasonable time in blender in a pretty long time.

So, What are your specs?
