Pls people, for the sake of my unborn children, stop thinking like this, it scares me!
Why are Nigerians so judgmental? A lot of you have concluded she cheated! How do you know? Even if she did, does it justify not only beating her but depriving her medical attention? Funny enough, liars and cheats are the most distrusting, cos they think everyone is like them.
The worst kind of man to be with is an insecure man, he will always mistrust you. I remember the most stupid relationship I was in, one day, I was on the phone with my mum, him and his cousins were gisting in high tones, so I stepped out to talk to my mum, when I got back, nigga was like, who was that? I said my mum, and he was like for over 10 minutes? Why did you have to go outside? Next thing my phone was smashed, and broke the screen! Only for his cousin to pick the phone it still came on, checked my log and saw Mumsy, nigga started begging! Make I hear, common boyfriend o, imagine the entitlement, not to talk of if he became husband! My family doesnt even know you, but i cannot talk to my mum again, my own mother? Hian! I bounced and dusted my feet!

Some of the comments just portray the issues with society! People actually applauding this psycho for his barbarian act! So she cheated, one wrong, stab her as a solution? Its crazy how men cannot condone cheating, but when they cheat? Its the devil, or its how men are or, he was pushed by the woman! Excuses are usually made, the woman is pressured by everyone to forgive him, even her pastor and her parents. Cheating is wrong! Irrespective of the spouse that cheats! Do not condemn one and be indifferent about the other! #wrongiswrong! #cheatingischeating!

But why do Nigerians like double standards like this? Just read lots of comments requesting for evidence of the purported bribe, a bribe that was rejected o, would he have said 'oh keep your bribe, but bring out the money let me take a pic first as evidence'? But these same people crucified these judges based on allegations with no proof! So the DSS recovered several millions, but couldn't take take a picture to show the public as evidence, when the police arrest criminals, they take pictures of the stolen items, firearms, etc for the public, but y'all passed judgement already. Now the tables are turned, you are suddenly rational and know the law of evidence? I give up mehn!!!

you don't seem to get my point. Of course the penalty is death, however, a sentence cannot be passed without trial. Even God who knows all our sins still told us of the day of judgement, when we shall give account of our deeds. If we are governed by sentiments and do not hear the other side, the innocent will also be killed, afterall people set people up. Besides, try to understand what professional duty means, a doctor has a duty to treat a person, criminal or not, even a person on death row is still seen by a doctor if the need arises. So a lawyer ought to defend until the court passes the sentence, there is a presumption of innocence until proven guilty.

Nigeria has been using the death penalty to punish armed robbery for a long time. Has it stopped crime? Answer is a resounding no.

Until we address the root cause of these problems, armed robbery will always plague Nigeria

what are you saying sef? A bad economy justifies crime? If it was just petty theft, I might see your point, but pls tell me how raping and killing fills an empty stomach? Anyone who takes the life of another does not deserve to keep his, they will always be deviants in society, crime is a choice, and choices have consequences.

Most of them after serving jail sentence become worst than before, if you can't work to earn a decent living locate the lagoon and do the needful.

first of all, every criminal has a right to fair hearing in the constitution, secondly, a lawyer has a professional duty to never reject a case. Even if he can't afford a lawyer, one will be appointed for him for free, so it has nothing to do with being hungry. So next time, pls do not be hasty to insult another's profession.

baffles me when I see posts like this. Go to your village and tell the poor villagers how much your clothes cost and they will think its unreasonable.About five yrs ago, I wouldn't have believed I could wear a dinner dress of almost 40k,I always thought my aunty was wasting money on all the makeup she bought, but I have bought them now. Moral: what seems expensive to one person is just moderate for another, besides, your tastes improve as your income does.
