Mamas I forgot to tell you that today is my birthday. Please join me and thank God for sustaining my life and wiping my tears from last year's birthday.

This time last year, I was at the hospital recovering from the loss of my baby. But today, the Lord has put another joy in my spirit. Please just whisper a "Thank you Lord" to Him on my behalf.

2) eat one noice, heavenly, blessed and sumptuous rice elewe with "inside of cow".
3) listen to the nurse with sweet voice as she sings to us

I tell you my wonderful eagle mama. It's such a wonderful opportunity jare. There is this jollof rice with correct moi moi, salad and fried chicken that one lady sells at UPTH. Mehn, most times I still salivate till the following day. Food will not put me in trouble ma abasi

You can always heat up the kilishi in the oven or wrap it in a newspaper and put in the pot on low heat and allow it heat up. Then you can enjoy it.
If you are a ftm, please start your antenatal so that you can follow up on some routines like TT and anti malaria drugs. You will also learn a lot during lectures.
Also, antenatal affords you the opportunity to eat all the orishirishi sold at the health centre canteen
Some mothers use the opportunity to finish their husband's money lol. My hands are clean sha as I no follow

Mama's good morning all. Am feeling very very down. I went for scan and it was discovered I have fibroid(i actually know about it) but d realisation that it might hurt my fetus is depressing. The scan showed a gestational sac with poor visibility. I am about 5weeks to 6weeks gone. Though am yet to get a full report but I have been so worried. Please put me in ur prayers o mama's... God that did it for me after a long wait should see me thru. Who else has experienced fibroids with pregnancy? Am so sad

Mama this is not the period to be sad. Many women have fibroid in pregnancy. That's why I'm not keen to carry out scan in the early weeks except if there is suspicion of ectopic pregnancy. Cos what you will see is sac and not the foetus.
This is the time to get faith books, faith audio that talks about pregnancy. I am using Supernatural Childbirth by Jackie Mize.
What you need is to keep confessing the positive and ignore the negative. If it bothers you so much, let fibroid know that your baby is here to stay and it cannot do anything about it.
There is power in the tongue and confession. Be joyful and refuse to be afraid. Fear is a pregnant woman's worst enemy. Please refuse to be sad.

Am so depressed right now, admitted in the hospital for thrombosed heamorrhoid and had to do a mini procedure in the theater to remove blood clots. Now the pain is something else. The devil is a liar. You cannot labour in vain and not nurture the fruit of your labour. You are healed now in Jesus name, amen. Keep confessing that you are healed and that you shall live and not die.
You will be amazed how you will get up from there and go home to your family in one piece.

@whyworryPH, I used Fansidar and my first dose was at 22 weeks.

Thanks mama. The doctor said fansidar would have worked as a preventive measure but since I have malaria, that they don't want to take chances. I guess that's why he prescribed Coartem.

You can use coartem since you are already in your second trimester. No harm. Am sure you are able to feel the movements of your baby now so you are good to go. But if the malaria symptom is mild you can just go for maldox. Maldox is not a good option for strong malaria even in 1st trimester. My 1kobo

Please mamas, has anyone in their second trimester used coartem for malaria treatment before?
It was prescribed for me yesterday at my appointment. I bought it today but saw in its leaflet that it shouldn't be taken in the first 3 months.
"In later stages of pregnancy, you should take Coartem only if clearly necessary. Your doctor will discuss with you the potential risk of taking Coartem during pregnancy"

Please is this safe? Or is there a milder malaria drug mothers here in the 18th week and above have taken?
I don't want to take chances as I just entered 18th week.

Yesterday seems not to be ending but the glory of God my mother went to the theatre for total mastectomy of the right breast and after 7hrs she was out in good condition and pains. I cried and couldn't thank God enough so sisters join me in thanking God as we ask him for strength upon her to endure the recovery phase as the pains seems unbearable but I know with God she will pull through. Just felt like taking over the pains for her to be free but I believe God who started this good work in her will see it to fulfillment. Good morning Sisters
