na next week me and my sweet bambino bun dey go back so I can't come and goan cut short my training because of cold oo, we go manage, no be everyday.
Imagine the attendant asking me to go get form to fly at 20 wks 3days new to me as i never carry belle fly b4, now that we'll be 22 wks next week and I don chop enough food and pampering wella I just wonder if they will refuse to carry us back to uyo and my belle no big laidat oo Or is it big?

Nnem don't mind my DH, he is also mummy's pet but I'm not cutting him any slack at the moment. He is willing to do anything just to see his baby, so I'm making good use of the situation.

Don't mind the flight attendants. They are trying to be careful. Anyway, your tummy isn't that big yet sef. Just relax and convince them or if you can, fill the form so that you won't be delayed at the airport. No stress please.

I've been really mischievous with hubby recently and don't intend stopping . All I need is to act like I am not feeling fine and he is at my beck and call. What a feeling (in Coca cola advert voice)

Take it with fesolate. Folic acid is once daily and fesolate can be once or twice daily (I think the dosage depends on the level of your PCV)
But you can start with once a day until you meet your doctor.
My PCV was 37 and I was only on Pregnacare original with folic acid one a day. Now I only take pregnacare original.
I didn't think I needed the fesolate since Pregnacare works for me. That's what my sister used all through her pregnancy and I like it cos it contains a lot.
Anyway, by the time you start antenatal or see your doc, you will be asked to go for PCV to check your levels.
But in the meantime, use the folic acid and fesolate

Yes dear. I'll be 18 weeks in a few days time. The movement isn't that strong like kicks yet, but more like a rumble.
As a FTM, you might not be able to tell yet. However, as you progress and baby's bones get stronger, you will surely be able to recognise it.
Another thing, if you have anterior placenta (in front), it might be hard to detect it this early until much later Into the pregnancy.
But not to worry, when you start noticing it, you will be begging baby to take some rest

He's right. As long as there is no itching, you really do not need to bother. If u run a test, traces might be seen and that would be another reason for worry for you.

My dear, it's infection in the vagina (itching). As a first time mum, I heard that itching in the vagina was very common in pregnancy and so I didn't want to tell the doc and when I finally did, I didn't take any drugs so that I won't harm the baby.
Well, the itching got worse and at some point, I would see fluid come out after I'm done peeing. That was how I entered early contraction and the rest is history.

Mine was pregnancy induced infection cos I didn't have infection before taking in. Some people itch in pregnancy and still carry to term. It was an unfortunate incidence.

You need to do it at least every 2 months
I was also told it was infection that caused the membrane rupture. But in medicine you can never be so sure especially with respect to prom
I decided to be proactive
My cervical length was 4.6 before my cerclage so in essence I really didn’t need it but I know it shortens as the pregnancy progresses so I decided to get one coupled with the fact that it was free. The OBGYN in my facility adviced me to do it and also to be on progesterone
For you to make a diagnosis of prom you must have had 3 second trimester miscarriages
I didn’t want to lose another baby to make that diagnosis
I know it’s God that makes it possible for a woman to carry to term
I just want to do my best and leavew the rest to God
And you know you shouldn’t compare yourself to the next person. Your case and hers and even mine could be different
I really think you should be on cyclogest it won’t hurt and it help to maintain the integrity of the cervix

Thanks doc. Don't really know anything about cyclogest. Will have to discuss it with my doctor on my next appointment.

Am a Ftm . Though I had PROM in 2015 at 17 weeks but delivered prematurely at 21 weeks
So this pregnancy I had a preventive cerclage at 12 weeks and also on progesterone injection 100mg three times a week with 400mg of cyclogest at night to help prevent prom
I also check my cervical length every 2 months
May God keep us safe and we will carry to term

Welcome doc. We are glad to have you in our midst. I also had PPROM at 25 weeks plus. That was last year. They suspect infection since I had serious one during pregnancy last year.
For this pregnancy, I was sent for vaginally scan to check os diameter and cervix length in my 13th week to know whether I should go for cerclage. The result showed that my cervix was completely closed and cervix length 4.9
I am currently 17 weeks plus and everything is going on fine all thanks to God.
I'm not on any medication apart from pregnacare original. Hope I'm on the right track?
One of our mothers here also had PPROM last year and lost the baby, but this year, she put to bed without cerclage. She also said hers was due to infection.
God is the one in charge of this my pregnancy, I tell you. He has really made it easy for me.
