But I keep wondering, is it that both parties do not want to settle their differences or is the reverend father actually giving the needed council? Is the reverend father who has not married before qualified to give advice on marital crisis? What do you think

yes and he can only do that through the gift of the Holy spirit because as for experience, he ain't got any.
