Most Mi 11 Ultra in Nigeria are Chinese Version. If you must buy open your eyes well or look for a seller that can pre-order it for you or you source for it yourself

You need to install the international ROM on it. That way, you'll receive updates as soon as they are released. I had the same problem with my own note 10+ when I had it. For 9 solid months, no update. Had to flash the international ROM on it. I got 5 updates in one day lol.

I downloaded one according to the model number cos I heard it might be brick if it doesn’t match with the model number.
