On the day I did my biometrics, I submitted an email different from the one used for the study permit application. Hope this wouldn't affect anything?

Soaking is not bad. I heard it is actually good for those who react to beans. You discard the wash and cook
should one wash the back off the beans before cook?

Just the way beans is washed before used for cooking moi moi?

You will find the list here
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/study-canada/study-permit/prepare/designated-learning-institutions-list.html
Going through the lists, I found out Schools that are eligible for PGWD are not very much compared to thoses that are ineligible. Again, the PGWD has it own criteria for eligibility and it's not everyone that will meet it. i.e. students that graduate in Canada,
Students that graduates outside Canada
Even other special criteria cases can't still be met by everyone especially undergraduates. except of course, I didn't fully understand the exact.

JMG12:
Most agents know about it; they choose schools that are not eligible for PGWP because it is easy to get admission, and most times the admission drops within days. They also do it with the assurance that the applicant will change institution when they arrive in Canada.
Avoid such agents
The same thing is applicable for people who study undergraduate programs (PGWP)
Agents are not just been sincere honestly, their mind is just focused on what they stand to profit from applicants. Anyways, I can only wait and see if my visa is approved before knowing what to do next

Hopefully when visa is out, I'll plan on how to change to a PGWD school/program when I get to Canada but the scare for me now is; spending more money than I bargain. It's well!

TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Windblown2much:
JMG12:
1. Apply to schools and programs that are eligible to give PGWP
2. The processing time depends on the school
3. The estimated tuition fee is 10,000 CAD - 20,000 CAD this depends on the school and course
One thing I find nauseating about this PGWD thing is the fact that, agents never tell applicants about it or probably they don't know?🤷 Most of us that apply through agents end of getting admitted in schools that are PGWD ineligible except of course, the agents are informed and instructed to during the admission process.

My question now is; does one applying for a 4years undergraduate program also eligible for PGWD? owing to the fact that the 4yeears undergraduate course can not be linken to a Postgraduate 2 year program as the case may be.

Maybe you haven’t gotten the saying before,
As an international student, wanting to study in Canada and if your prospect is to get PR-Citizenship, YOU HAVE NO BUSINESS APPLYING TO SCHOOL THAT IS NOT PGWP ELIGIBLE.

You’ve been told
😳 like seriously? I never knew about this, this is the first time I'm hearing about this. Anyways let's c how events unfolds🙏
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Windblown2much: 5:41pm On Nov 09, 2023
I wasn't the one that run the application from scratch, it was my bro that was preceding everything. If I had known of the school that he wanted to apply, I would have made my own deligent research and inform him. Now we can't do anything cause 1 year tution had already been paid. However, I can only explore other options available in securing a job like u rightly said. For now, let me be on the suspenseful moment pending when the Visa arrives 🙏
bullstriker:
You cannot apply for a postgraduate work permit with their programs. After program completion with such a school, you need to look for an employer who can do an LMIA for you. Still, LMIA-supported jobs are challenging nowadays due to the influx of international students and their spouses on open work permits. Also, a public policy allows visitor visa holders to apply for a work permit from inside Canada if they have a job offer and LMIA (some nationalities are LMIA exempt depending on the job classification and free trade agreement with Canada). So, you will be competing with these people for jobs. In my opinion, it is best to look for a PGWP-eligible school and program.
You can reach out if you need assistance securing admission. The service is free.
