emmasoft: Okay. You can click the link on my signature to start the process. Note if you go for the MMF, pick tier 3 That is the package without limitation.
Tier 1 is limited, your investment cannot be more than 200k and you cannot invest more than 20k at a time. It's just for financial inclusion to accommodate very low cadre of the financial pyramid
But for the tier3 no such limitations.
By the way the fixed income is as flexible as the MMF Aiit then.. pls what percentage does the MMF and fixed income offer monthly? Btw I never knew the MMF and fixed income offer same flexibility until now.. |
Investment › Re: Mutual Funds by Windblown2much: 5:54pm On Apr 24, 2023 |
emmasoft: Investing in a business and investing in a MMF are two different investment windows. They are not of the same risk category or involvement of the investor.
MMF is in the category of low risk investment All things being equal the lower the risk the lower the returns. Moreover investments are made in different categories to achieve specific purpose.
Please note that you don't have to wait for one year to get your returns in MMF, though rate is per annum, it's prorated such that you earn interest daily and you get credited quarterly.
Most investors use MMF as another form of high interest savings compare to fixed deposits in MDBs. MMF is highly recommended for investors with low risk appetite and also good for emergency fund.
So you can still do both business and MMF. Ok.. The MMF is obviously what I would eventually opt in for due to its flexibility of withdrawing funds at anytime. Thanks! |

sgtponzihater1: There several good companies. I use Stanbic. But other companies like FBN Quest, ARM are good choices. I generally prefer using long term players.
Interest rates are not calculated monthly, but annually, and interests mostly paid quarterly pro-rated. Interest rates vary based on MPR for money market funds, currently between 9-11%. Equity based funds vary widely.
You'll need to do your own research about what company you'll go with, and base your choice not only based on current interest rate. If you have Stanbic in mind then kindly use my ref link, but you'll be fine as long as you choose a company with a good track record, and stay the course.
All the best, and get into the Market as soon as you can to benefit from compounding.
PonziHater Ok I thought profits are calculated monthly NOT annually. Being that as it may, I don't feel it worth investing 1M just to profit 111-113k in a year time that's somehow poor. I'll rather invest my money in physical bussiness than this online investment that's I'll have to wait till a year time reached b4 enjoying the dividends of my profit. |

sgtponzihater1: You join any mutual fund company not minding what bank account you hold.
You can invest into your fund as frequently as you want, and can use it as a vehicle to wealth building over time.
Happy to help at any time if you need further clarification.
PonziHater Thanks for ur inputs so far I really appreciate. As a starter, which mutual fund company would u advice I invest with and what's the current percentage monthly profit? Thanks! |
Investment › Re: Mutual Funds by Windblown2much: 11:41am On Apr 08, 2023 |
sgtponzihater1: Mutual fund do not usually have expiry periods, except the fund goes burst. Many have a minimum investment period before you can withdraw without losing some of your interest.
You can ask them to pay your interest usually quarterly, and a few do monthly, if you do not want to re-invest.
There are different type of mutual funds. Money market funds usually guarantees your principal. Stock based mutual funds fluctuate based on the market performance and your principal is not guaranteed. They however traditionally offer the high return over the long haul. Thanks for the clarification. Base on mutual funds pls must one have an account with the Bank he/she wants to invest in? And can one invest and b able to increase the investment capital within the period of investment OR the investment amount must b static during the investment period? |

I'm new to the thread pls I want to invest but there are some clarification I would let to get b4 investing.
Does the investment have a validity/expiring period?
Is the percentage profit withdrawable each month? Leaving the capital untouch. |

Aboguede: Interesting, Canada for 2m naira ($4k)
Anyways, it is very possible but only through scholarship.
I can get scholarship for you to travel on the budget of 2m but you may need to also be open to consider some other countries like united kingdom, Germany, Finland, Australia but because of language test, I can assure you of united kingdom which may include Scotland and Australia then Canada is possible too.
But, like I said, we can help you to caste a wide net an see which fish we can catch and if we catch Canada which is very possible then better.
By the way, all this European countries I mentioned are all good through scholarship program and you will get upto 16hours weekly work which pays good plus Australia because I have a good contact there and it is as good as canada.
Two years ago, it was easy to get Canada scholarship and still but because there are too many people applying at the same time every day, the slot is not always enough and sometimes it may take upto 2 yrs or more because it is done yearly.
Read well and let me know ur decision then we can do WhatsApp nice one I'll also reach out to u. |

dealhunter: there is Syria Embassy in Abuja, and there tourist visa is very easy to collect, crossing frm Syria to Turkey is just 200 Euro, highest 300,and crossing to Greece,,you will still spend like 200 or 300 Euro,Note:you can stay in Turkey and seek asylum if you don't want to go to Greece..
Ask ur contact in Turkey about this link and get back to me here,we go make d whole info open, maybe other people can benefit from it....you don't need to spend 2m because you want to enter Europe.....I wanted to follow this route before but naa USA or Canada dey my mind..thousand of people have follow this route.. Let's just round it up to a million naira(almost) on transport fair and some other minor spending from Nigeria down to Greece. Need I remind U didn't include the expected flight fare from (Nigeria-Syria) from ur analysis. Other spending like feeding and housing never dey o and u expect me to see this plan as cheap and easy like u made it seem? Anyways I'll look for a time and ask my friend as u've instructed and come here to share our discussed points here for all to access. However, from our discussion thus far, I still feel going to turkey will be the ideal for me judging from the fact that I'll have someone to welcome and accommodate me for sometime before gaining my groud, putting me through on how to get a job just few weeks of arrival, and some other assistance, benefits would atleast make it easier and less stressful for me unlike the Greece asylum seeking that would put me in undue worries and uncertainties! |
