It is pointless to even reply this. This is just one of nairalands many attempts to belittle christianity and God and also encourage people to become atheists. Nairaland is very good at that. Hardly does a day go by without them showing us threads of perverted pastors and christians. I believe they should just come out of their shell and officially make the forum an atheist forum!!! Crap!!! |
Funny but true.

KingEbukaNaija:Seun again . Its not surprising. He's doing the little he can for his country. Ive missed the party though. Maybe he should tell us why anybody needs to believe anything since life is ultimately pointless. I no get too time now, ill make my submissions tmao. |
urahara:But ur entitled to keep your freaking opinions to urself. We will continue to serve Jesus, and He is your Lord no matter how much you fight Him, hate Him or want him not to exist

Anything can serve as a substitute for God, for someone who cant bear the reality of a Creator. Thank Heavens for paleontologists and the clarity the fossil record. Lets have a look at another piece of evidence from the fossil record.

Evolutionists will have us believe that simple organisms e.g bacteria can evolve into a fully formed human being, given enough time. Based on this But could fish really evolve into something other than another fish . Maybe a thinner or smaller fish under stress conditions. To say a fish "evolved" into a man with a mind and conscience simply because it had enough time is quite interesting. And they try hard to let us see how a It's only funny that I was taught this fairytale in junior classes and other children may be to.

onetrack:I'm telling you it was worse in the 20th century. Religious people are not minority in china, you will find out the day china declares freedom of religious expression. In fact, i suspect that Asia and the middle east are the next big thing for christianity. Africa is a continent that has been superstituos long before the introduction of christianity, most of its part still maintain the superstition till date. I dont see it going away any time soon. |
Busayorafael:If atheism was not a religion, you wont be on a religion section. I lack a belief in santa claus. Ill be insane to spend as much time you guys spend talking about God, talking about santa claus. That's what mere unbelief is. Atheism today seems more like a conscious suppression of the truth of God, rather than mere unbelief. And of course we have evangelical atheists that ![]() |
OneTruePrince:As much as I agree with you bro, i believe that we should respond to their cries in love. Most of these guys are boiling with hate cos of negatives that might have befallen them. Atheism is almost never arrived at by a logical conclusion. They try to fit the logic in after they might have embraced atheism. I'm all for apologetics, but considering the all the crap that goes on on this section, i've decided to devote part of my leisure to exposing the foolishness of atheism.

KingEbukaNaija:Johnydon22 should cook up another nice story on christians in his area ![]() Lol Bro, This has got to be the funniest atheist comedy i've watched in recent times. Dude totally f*cked up atheism. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TXtVzj9y-bo |
OneTruePrince:Atheists will always show up. This can only be motivated by both fear and anger. How many times have you shown up in toothfairy discussions?

cloudgoddess:But the atheistic movement was more serious in the 20th century than todays angry baby cries I mean, some of them ideas in the past were more cogent and more intellectually liberating than the types that makes so much noise today. You know what I think?, I think atheists are scared. The missionary atheism of this present time that assaults religion has an unmistakable mood of fear and anxiety. To a significant extent, the new atheism is the expression of a liberal moral panic. In this panic, atheism has become a missionary enterprise, aiming to convert humankind to a particular version of their unbelief. Despite the fact that several countries in the past made atheism the official state credo in a bid to build the "perfect" society, after the reign of madness and execution of believers in their millions, religion continues to flourish in those countries today. Countries like China that still maintain such type of governance but are less deadly to religion, have an alarming growth of christianity that may see Her become the largest christian nation on earth in few years time. Other countries such as North korea have to be lethal towards religion to try to keep it silent, but even at that, there is an everpresent underground religious activity that seems impossible to stop. Religion my dear, is part of the nature of man even though it is perverted in countless cases. And it wont go away anytime soon or ever. Instead it would continue to grow if given its freedom of expression. Like a nairalander once said "If you keep a set of newborns somewhere alone with nature, sooner or later some of them would look into the skies and wonder what's there". And then it starts. I've stopped wondering why most atheists all over the world are majorly against christianity. Even, Islam had to invent the sharia law to keep christians living in their country in check. Christianity seems to me to be a dangerously potent weapon against subjective and perverted relativism. It does not need laws to dominate but love, it has been so attacked and vilified that one would wonder if any other faith can ever survive centuries of its planned annihilation. So stop wishing that the world was not "plagued" with "deluded religious beings". Atheism will keep its status as the angry timekeeper of Religion for as long as man lives even though it may feign a promising future. Except maybe it has something different to offer the world without mischieviously clinging to science and secularism for its validation. |
theoneJabulani:But we love this "delusion" brah. ![]()
|
onetrack:Some people thought so in the 15th, 16th,17th all the way to the 20th century. But i dont see any indications that religion is dying out. You may need to get off your high horse.

^^^ The post above me proves that atheists will blame anything, just anything on christianity. ![]() God is good. |
zico530:Exactly!. Not some pastors giving people grass to eat. |
Something wonderful in the Christian sense is happening in Tibet, a region in China considered as the highest in the world and the home of Mount Everest, earth's highest mountain rising more than 29,009 feet above sea level. Tibetans are mostly Buddhist, but there are also some Muslims and Christians, according to sources. Last year, one Tibetan Buddhist priest embraced Jesus Christ and became a Christian pastor after seeing the love of Christ shown by a group of Christian workers who helped out and provided relief goods to the people of the region when a major earthquake struck the area, according to Joe Handley, president of Asian Access, a Christian organisation seeking to spread God's Word in South Asia. Now, the seed of Christian love has grown. In an update, Handley reports that 62 other Buddhist monks have decided to follow the footsteps of the former Buddhist lama and are now following Christ as well. And that's not all. "Just within the last year alone, [church leaders] are estimating that more than 200,000 people have come to Christ as a result of the labours of the Christian community there," Handley says. What is causing this avalanche of Christian conversions? Handley says this is all due to the work of Christian workers who provided hope and healing to the people of Tibet in the aftermath of last year's devastating quake. "They haven't seen Buddhists, Hindus, or other religious groups helping in the midst of the rubble. Rather, week after week, it is the followers of Jesus who have proved the test of time, sacrificed their own lives to serve and been the hands and feet of Jesus," he says. Asian Access is playing a key role in this spiritual movement by training church leaders with the aim of establishing long-term spiritual growth in the region. "Asian Access just has the privilege of coming alongside key pastors like the ones that have invested in this Tibetan priest's life," Handley says. "We invest deeply, building their capacity so they can reach their communities." "God does amazing things when you invest in people and see them grow deeper in Him, grow stronger as leaders, learn how to reproduce other leaders, and then it spreads through church planting efforts in ways that are simply remarkable," he adds. Asian Access is now seeking the prayer and financial support of Christians worldwide so that the organisation could nurture the spiritual movement in South Asia. source; http://christiantoday.com/article/what.showing.gods.love.can.do.200000.tibetans.including.62.buddhist.monks.decide.to.follow.jesus/88890.htm

PastorAIO:Vulgar and Racist Atheist attack believers in God.

Ranchhoddas:Re-read my reply. This time be a little open-minded, you will wonder why you cant do without God. |

Another FREAK OUT from militant atheists who come to our page calling the religious "mentally disabled".

thehomer:Nick Fletcher, who calls himself theTime Lord of the Gallifreyan High Council and the Dark Lord of the Sith, attempts to call the Holy Bible fantasy, despite the abundant proof for it: http:///YSTbUD Is he confused with what is reality and what is fantasy?
|
thehomer:Definition of insanity: doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Like continuously posting on a page that promotes something you strongly disagree with, long after people have lost interest in what you are saying.
|
thehomer:Dr. Kent Brantly, a medical missionary with the organisation Samaritan's Purse, devoted his life to help those in need in Africa, a true reflection of his faith. He contracted Ebola while serving them and was transported back to the US where he was treated. God worked through the doctors and now Dr. Brantly is healed! It is no surprise that the "Yale Journal of Biology and Medicine" states that "the institution of a hospital dedicated to the care of the sick was a distinctly Christian innovation rooted in the monastic virtue and practise of hospitality". For centuries people of faith have tried to follow Christ's teaching to love their neighbours. In his page "God Swill Ministries", designed to ridicule people of faith, atheist Jay Solemn mocks this physician. Does Jay Solemn think that mocking the religious is a more worthwhile pursuit than treating those with inadequate medical care in Africa? Jay Solemn, in his heart knows that he has accomplished nothing in his life and has nothing to show but a page full of hatred. His jealousy of those who are using their talent to improve the world is evident. His parents did a lousy job raising him. Most militant atheists, like this example--Jay Solemn, would rather use their time and money to erect billboards mocking those who disagree with them. It is no surprise that organized atheism resulted in the persecution of millions of believers in the last century. Compare the two and choose!

Great thread. Atheism is so worthless that one begins to wonder why its tries so hard to sustain itself by clinging to science, secularism and other branches.
