Ranchhoddas:This is actually proof that there is something about christianity that atheism seeks to suppress. You have been following his posts but have never spoken against it. Same with ifeness who believes in the annunaki, he identifies as an atheist and no atheist has ever questioned him or any other sick ideas. The reason is simple:You do not waste your time with a lie.. If domino whoever has turned his life around, i smile and pass whenever i see his comments. He's been posting such on nairaland for a while and i've also been here long enough to notice it. "But i've never spoken about it because i simply do not believe. The belief is just not there. Same goes with the annunaki. I would never call his ideas or any other sick if he didn't quote me. I'll probably smile and pass like always. That is the definition of unbelief. The difference between me and you is that I do not believe in his deity. You on the other hand claim not to believe in God and you spend your life speaking about Him. This is simply my point. Nothing in this world will make me ever spend my life talking about domino whoeever the way you talk about God. I'm at loss on why most atheists around the world are inclined to fight christianity. Worse is, even muslims turned atheists too. So what then is it about christianity? That singular reason keeps me eager.“A thousand times over, the death knell of the Bible has been sounded, the funeral procession formed, the inscription cut on the tombstone, and committal read. But somehow the corpse never stays put.” “No other book has been so chopped, knifed, sifted, scrutinized, and vilified. What book on philosophy or religion or psychology or belles lettres of classical or modern times has been subject to such a mass attack as the Bible? With such venom and skepticism? With such thoroughness and erudition? Upon every chapter, line and tenet?”- Bernard Ramm. Do not share your unbelief with me and then falsely claim that i throw my belief in your face. |
realmindz:And you are so sure that I was a christian from birth? Your replies are so unintelligent that I find it needless to keep replying you. |
realmindz:Those stone age minds have been far more productive than atheists. I'm not sick cos I care less if you believe or not. You on the other hand desperately want me to share your stupidity. He is sick cos he mentions me in his stupidity just like you. If you are observant, I dont mention your likes, I'm on this section to share my belief in God with believers. I care less about your unbelief. |
realmindz:Only irrational ones? ![]() Can you stop quoting me. |
realmindz:The belief that she must bow to her son-in-law? . I just gave a verse to point out that stupidity but "common reasoning" has made you not to see that. You are so desperate. Refrain from quoting me please. |
Evolutionists will have us believe that And for more than a century, we've been waiting to observe at least the most basic of this magical process. Observation is key in science.https://global-4-lvs-odra.opera-mini.net/hn25-06-08/35487/0/-1/creationsciencestudy.files./b7eec5bc349c5a953eb9fa485ffe7bf2e710f222/12191047_1002923776433513_5117178512493267030_n.jpg I mean nothing turned to bacteria which turned to fish which eventually turned to man. This is another picture of a 320 million year old fossilhttps://global-4-lvs-odra.opera-mini.net/hn24-03-05/45865/0/-1/i.ytimg.com/ae8fa18afbb89a419a1150784032aa29c11caebc/maxresdefault.jpg I can't but agree with Professor Louis Bounoure, past president of the Biological Society of Strassbourg, Director of the Strassbourg Zoological Museum, Director of Research at the French National Center of Scientific Research, who said; "Evolution really is a fairytale for adults", a fairytale for people who cant bear the reality of the alternative. |
https://www.conservapedia.com/images/a/aa/Autumn.jpgAutumn foliage is one of the many of examples of beauty in God's creation. One of the world's most famous scientists, probably the most famous living biologist, is Sir Francis Crick, the British co-discoverer of the structure of DNA, a Nobel Prize winner... Crick is also a fervent atheistic materialist, who propounds the particle story. In his autobiography, Crick says very candidly biologists must remind themselves daily that what they study was not created, it evolved; it was not designed, it evolved. Why do they have to remind themselves of that? Because otherwise, the facts which are staring them in the face and trying to get their attention might break through. Professor Phillip Johnson noted about this: "What we discovered when I developed a working group of scientists, philosophers, et al., in the United States was that living organisms look as if they were designed and they look that way because that is exactly what they are."
|
As alluded to earlier, today there are over one hundred million identified and cataloged fossils in the world's museums. If the evolutionary position was valid, then there should be "transitional forms" in the fossil record reflecting the intermediate life forms. Another term for these "transitional forms" is "missing links". https://www.conservapedia.com/images/d/d2/Darwin.jpgCharles Darwin wrote: "When we descend to details, we cannot prove that a single species has changed; nor can we prove that the supposed changes are beneficial, which is the groundwork of the theory.” Charles Darwin admitted that his theory required the existence of "transitional forms." Darwin wrote: "So that the number of intermediate and transitional links, between all living and extinct species, must have been inconceivably great. But assuredly, if this theory be true, such have lived upon the earth." However, Darwin wrote: "Why then is not every geological formation and every strata full of such intermediate links? Geology assuredly does not reveal any such finely-graduated organic chain; and this perhaps, is the most obvious and serious objection which can be urged against my theory." Darwin thought the lack of transitional links in his time was because "only a small portion of the surface of the earth has been geologically explored and no part with sufficient care...". As Charles Darwin grew older he became increasingly concerned about the lack of evidence for the theory of evolution in terms of the existence of transitional forms. Darwin wrote, “When we descend to details, we cannot prove that a single species has changed; nor can we prove that the supposed changes are beneficial, which is the groundwork of the theory.” Scientist Dr. Michael Denton wrote regarding the fossil record: "It is still, as it was in Darwin's day, overwhelmingly true that the first representatives of all the major classes of organisms known to biology are already highly characteristic of their class when they make their initial appearance in the fossil record. This phenomenon is particularly obvious in the case of the invertebrate fossil record. At its first appearance in the ancient Paleozoic seas, invertebrate life was already divided into practically all the major groups with which we are familiar today. Distinguished anthropologist Sir Edmund R. Leach declared, "Missing links in the sequence of fossil evidence were a worry to Darwin. He felt sure they would eventually turn up, but they are still missing and seem likely to remain so." David B. Kitts of the School of Geology and Geophysics at the University of Oklahoma wrote that "Evolution requires intermediate forms between species and paleontology does not provide them…". David Raup, who was the curator of geology at the museum holding the world's largest fossil collection, the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago, observed: "Darwin was embarrassed by the fossil record because it didn't look the way he predicted it would .... Well, we are now about 140 years after Darwin, and knowledge of the fossil record has been greatly expanded. We now have a quarter of a million fossil species but the situation hasn't changed much. ... We have even fewer examples of evolutionary transition than we had in Darwin's time." - David M. Raup, "Conflicts Between Darwin and Paleontology," Field Museum of Natural History Bulletin 50. One of the most famous proponents of the theory of evolution was the late Harvard paleontologist Stephen Jay Gould. But Gould admitted: "The extreme rarity of transitional forms in the fossil record persists as the trade secret of paleontology. The evolutionary trees that adorn our textbooks have data only at the tips and nodes of their branches; the rest is inference, however reasonable, not the evidence of fossils...We fancy ourselves as the only true students of life’s history, yet to preserve our favored account of evolution by natural selection we view our data as so bad that we never see the very process we profess to study So what does the fossil record quote? "...I still think that to the unprejudiced, the fossil record is in favour of special creation". - E.J.H. Corner (Professor of Botany, Cambridge University, England) "Fossil evidence of human evolutionary history is fragmentary and open to various interpretations. Fossil evidence of chimpanzee evolution is absent altogether". Henry Gee, “Return to the Planet of the Apes,” Nature, Vol. 412, 12 July 2001, p. 131 |
KingEbukaNaija:But seriously bro. Whats with christians being fed to lions. Atheist Greyson Swan sympathizes feeding Christians to lions and telling Christians to jump off buildings. Another sick example of the atheist hate on the internet
|
thehomer:No arguments my friend. Just points supported with facts. Another hateful comment from an atheist. Jesse Jordan uses profanity and makes a claim without providing evidence. G.K. Chesterton made this point: “Atheism is the most daring of all dogmas, for it is the assertion of a universal negative.” http://biologos.org/questions/what-created-god
|
thehomer:If you look well enough at the title of this thread, you'd notice that i'm less interested in arguing. I'm more intrested in proving a point. An interesting article from our friends at Bethinking relates to this topic: http://www.bethinking.org/morality/can-moral-objectivism-do-without-god
|
realmindz:Instead of looking for the slightest chance you get to blame religion for man's stupidity and seek the support of fellow atheists, You should seek time to discuss with your family friends cos clearly they got serious issues. This attempt to blame christianity is dead on arrival and not worthy of attention. "Likewise, you who are younger, be subject to the elders. Clothe yourselves, all of you, with humility toward one another, for “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”-1 Peter 5:5 These are the words of prophets who walked with Christ. So i suggest you talk sense to your family friends instead of taking advantage of the situation to mock religion. |
thehomer:Atheist Joshua Frenkel uses ad hominems rather than rationally delineating his position with a believer. Related article: http://blogs.christianpost.com/confident-christian/profile-of-a-hatetheist-10298/

PastorAIO:sebi was the only word worth noticing though. ![]() Ryan Vanderwiel, an atheist, makes a joke about Good Friday. It is sad to see that the godless mock the beliefs of others, especially on the days of their pious observances. To learn more about what Christ endured for us, please read this article written by expert Frank Turek of Cross Examined: http://www.christianpost.com/news/what-was-the-crucifixion-like-118228/

PastorAIO:Prophets for generations, christ forever Atheist Valerie Smith mocks Christians for being persecuted. "According to the International Society for Human Rights, a secular observatory based in Frankfurt, Germany, 80 per cent of all acts of religious discrimination in the world today are directed at Christians. Statistically speaking, that makes Christians by far the most persecuted religious body on the planet" (Ref: http://www.spectator.co.uk/features/9041841/ the-war-on-christians/
|
PastorAIO:Prophets are not my standard, christ is. Why do atheist want christians fed to lions? Christoper Allen Salmons comments on a christian page, advocates feeding Christians to the lions, saying that "lions gotta eat too". Since that's the case, why not offer himself and his family?
|
dalaman:Just one question for "Do youbthink God is the inspiration for militant atheists" A one word answer will do. Charles Erickson III on an atheistic facebook page titled "Sex-Addict Atheists", advocates the persecution of believers in theform of feeding them to lions, on the Lord's Day, Sunday, whenChristians traditionally attend Mass or a Service of Worship. In an atheistic rally in 2012, many militant atheists similarly held signs stating “so many Christians, so few lions”, encouraging the persecution of believers (See: http://www.faithstreet.com/ onfaith/2012/03/27/reason-rallys-unreasonable-beliefs/17123 ). Both Erickson's comment, as well as the atheistic sign bearers, reference The Diocletianic Persecution in The Roman Empire, when Christians were fed to beasts (See: http://www.historylearningsite.co.uk/rome_and_christianity.htm

GeneralShepherd: ![]() ![]() Katie Gunn, a atheist, mocks a christian post explaining that a genetic code points to superintelligence, in the same way that a computer programme points to a programmer. This was not one of the christian page posts, but one shared from another page. As the post notes, this is the idea of the leader of the Human Genome Project, Francis Collins, and has caused famous atheists, such as Anthony Flew to accept belief in a Creator God. As far as mutuations and disease are concerned, an article by The BioLogos Foundation states: "Disease and death are a part of reality, which is justified in a reading of the Bible. The blind man, just like a child with CF, had no sin which caused a debilitating illness. Much of the suffering that we see in the world of medicine is due to environmental and genetic consequences" http://biologos.org/blog/a-faith-journey- in-a-medical-science-career-part-3

Lilbrown007:Yeah, my facts hurt you so bad, you think i'm mad. ![]() But really, you have to admire the appeal to reason and authority that this atheist uses. Nothing says intolerance like an atheist resorting to a personal attack.
|
GeneralShepherd:Shame on you, expressing knowledge in something you have no idea about. Brennan Ritchie, an atheist and self-professed "stand-up comedian", uses another strawman argument for the existence of God. Why is it that they repeat the same ad hominems? Perhaps it would do good for him to read the following: How Would You Define God? http://realclearapologetics.com/blogs/pps2006/how-would-you-define-god/ Exposing the Straw Men of New Atheism http://biologos.org/blog/series/exposing-the-straw-men-of-new-atheism

dalaman:Story!. Now lets feel some atheist love from more sincere atheists, who did not learn their morality from christianity or society.
|
GeneralShepherd:If you didnt believe, you wont be here, period!! ![]() Atheist JJ Rasch deingrates Christians, stating that they are illogical http://www.reasonablefaith.org/sobels-acid- bath-for-theism-review-article-logic-and-theism. This kind of mockery, as mentioned in this article, leads to persecution, as demonstrated throughout history: http://www.cija.ca/interfaith-2/cause-of-death-militant-atheism/
|
PastorAIO:We are christ-ians, we can make our judgements from the life of christ. I've told dalaman this. The Atheist Amid Inn advocates shooting believers simply because of their religious faith. This practice has a historical precedent - in the USSR, an atheist state, the League of Militant Atheists shot believers who would refuse to renounce their faith and accept atheism. Today, atheist states continue this practice. Because objective morality does not exist without God, atheists see no harm in persecuting those who think differently from them: http://martyredintheussr.com/

GeneralShepherd:Chai!!! Stark ignorance. Why do you speak on what you know nothing about. Atheist Ravi Muvattupuzha mocks the Holy Bible, despite the fact that it has changed lives, in many cases, saving people from suicide: http://www.gideons.org/ChangedLives/ChangedLivesText.aspx?source=%7B09892BDF-335A-47DF-B7B2-FAC56918C93D%7D In addition, it is supported by archaeology and history: http://www.bethinking.org/is-the-bible-reliable/archaeology-and-the-historical-reliability

otemanuduno:Guy, I beg you in the name of whatever you believe: please don't share with me your sick ideas. Thanks. |
Antiparticle:You give very weak arguments, really undeserving of my time. Can you provide a biblical reference of the earth being 6000 years old? .In my opinion, the claim of 6000 years was gotten from archbishop James ussher, Bishop in the Church of Ireland in the 16th century. He took the genealogies of genesis, assuming they were complete, and calculated all the years to arrive at a date for the creation of the earth on sunday, october 23, 4004 B.C. Many people have also come up with dates for creation, such as Johannes Kepler (3992 BC), Gerhard Hasel (4178 BC), and Isaac Newton (~4000 BC) but have received far lesser criticisms, and i keep wondering why. These men were simply trying their best to get answers for humanity. But in your hurt and hate, you seem to be blind to the others and focus all your efforts on disproving christianity. I respect these men but personally i dont think the age of the earth has been proven. Those who hold to billions of years trust that methods such as radiometric dating are reliable and assume that nothing has occurred in history that may have disrupted the normal decay of radio-isotopes. and of course, God could have created the universe in a state that “appears” to give it a very long age. Just calm your nerves, We will keep making findings about our world as God commanded; "But now ask the beasts, and let them teach you; and the birds of the heavens, and let them tell you. Or speak to the earth, and let it teach you; and let the fish of the sea declare to you. Who among all these does not know That the hand of the LORD has done this, In whose hand is the life of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind?" (Job 12:7-11) Antiparticle:I'm typing with a computer. Can you give a list from the time of the invention of the computer all the way through its diverse revolutions, so that we can identify how many atheists have been involved in the significant breakthrough of the computer. Can you give us the founders and innovators of those field's you've mentioned. I'm interested in them all . Can you also give examples of fields discovered by atheists (not innovations) in our age at least. Antiparticle:Ill get it. I do have my ways of identifying bullshit though. Antiparticle:You will leave it at that cos you got nothing to say. Those billionaires are not as bitter as you are, they do not go around spreading atheism. Antiparticle:Goalpost shifted!!!. Is this how you react when you're proved wrong? You diverted from rich people being atheists to the wealth of christians being gotten through dubious means. ![]() You really are trying hard to survive this. Antiparticle:I made a claim initially : RELIGIOUS MINDS HAVE BEEN FAR MORE PRODUCTIVE THAN ATHEISTIC MINDS. I clearly did not exclude christianity from this. So if i lump all religion together, i'm justified. You on the other hand are unjustifiably lumping irreligion with atheism. I was at a time irreligious but not an atheist and so many other people still are. Maybe you should state the percentage of atheist scientists and stop trying to sound reasonable when you're not. Antiparticle:Unlike you, I can provide proof/s to back my points. For example, Noted ex-atheist and psychologist Dr. Paul Vitz has stated that he had superficial reasons for becoming an atheist such as the desire to be accepted by his Stanford University professors who were united in disbelief regarding God. Antiparticle:My data is cherry-picked? This exactly is why i didnt want to reply you initially. Once you cant disprove something, you pass it off as false? Well, i'm sorry for offending you with my facts . I'll re-post that quote so that you can have one more shot at disproving it; winner01: Antiparticle:What is the science of evolution? That elephants evolved into whales, or that dogs evolved into dolphins? Antiparticle:I lumped all religion together right from the beginning when i said; Religious minds have been more productive than atheistic minds. Once again, stop trying to be reasonable when you obviously aren't I'm not here to tell you if my faith is true or not. I'm interested in proving that faith is superior to atheism. When one gets this fact, only then can we begin to reason out which faith is true. Antiparticle:Discredited by whom? You? Antiparticle:You know why you have lost this already. You have sided with the readers even before giving them a chance to judge your watery submissions. You've tried severally to appeal to their emotions and that further proves that atheists cannot stand on their own. Either you like it or not, Christianity will continue to put smiles on peoples faces. Answers to prayers have been evident in the lives of millions just like mine. On the issue of amputated limbs, of course God can do anything. God intended for man to work, atheists erroneously think christians are not meant to work but pray and expect food from air. . I can pray for a beggar with an amputated limb and that might facilitate his connection to people or christian organizations that can provide him with artificial limbs. That's how prayer works. Prayer is a form of communion with God, it does not turn christians to show off magicians. I watched the CBN charity group sponsor the surgery of a man in India, the man said he had earlier prayed to God. He received the answers to his prayers through the surgery just in time. So I ask you, what has atheism done for humanity except unimaginable democidal acts? |
GeneralShepherd:His point is clear my friend. The isrealites were not christians. Russians are people who are from russia, Nigerians are people who are from Nigeria. Christians are people who are in Christ Jesus, even though several christians wrongly call themselves one. The Bible says: "If any man be in Christ, he is a new Creature. Old things have passed away, behold all have become new". Those genuinely in Christ are christians. They want to be like Christ. So if someone kills in the name of Christ, we can judge him through christs commandments. Atheist Linda Warenfelt-Wagner supports Arjun Manu's mockery of those who believe differently than them. In the article "Cause of Death: Militant Atheism", the author states that "We know from history that the mockery of certain ethnic and religious groups often led to their persecution," in reference to the Holocaust (9 million deaths), as well as the Persecution of Christians under the State Atheism of the Soviet Union (12 million deaths).
|
Lilbrown007:I will keep exposing the foolishness of atheism my brother. And nothing you do will ever stop that. The atheist Cameron Shane Vos threatens violence against believers and calls them stupid, despite the fact that science demonstrates that religiosity and education are directly proportional: (source) In addition, Cameron Shane Vos fails to take into account that historically, it was organizations like the League of Militant Atheists that rounded up believers to be placed in labour camps: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=84-6ES4Zp6A#t=550

dalaman:This topic is about atheists. People can see how you cant defend your atheism. Atheist Arjun Manu, from Calicut, India, posts a billboard mocking Jesus Christ, the Son of God in Christianity, as well as a prophet as believed in Islam. Does Arjun Manu not have any respect for those who believe differently than he does? Of course today, atheists continue to silence those who think differently than they do, after realizing that their position is illogical: http://news.sky.com/story/1182991/the-christian-underground-in-atheist-china They have a historical record for doing this. Under the militant atheism of the USSR, millions of Christians, in addition to millions of Buddhists, Muslims, and Jews were martyred for their faith in God. If Arjun is really for equality, as his profile picture claims, than why does he bully people of faith? His recent uploads compare Jesus Christ to a Vagina during this pious season of Lent. In addition, this billboard picture seems to denigrate those who suffer from mental illness and the homeless. Interestingly enough, atheism is associated with both of these things: (source)
