EE profile can not be edited once ITA arrives.
The step sibling is already listed as immediate family under my husband's application.

i feel if we now delete the step sibling from our ITA submission, its going contradict my husband's statement in the EE profile.
Can we scrap it since we not even claiming points for it?

pls people i need advise.

So my husband has a step sibling in Canada, we didnt get points for it though when we got our ITA.
After claiming relative in Canada and step sibling agreed to send us docs to prove relationship.

Time to upload doc, step sibling changed his mind about sending us docs. That they are sensitive and he can't just send them to us anymore :O

Please what do we do? How do we address this issue? We have a few days left to submission.
I am the PA

Thanks for your urgent response

Thanks a lot!

LordSebastian:
Yes it is a separate document you need to draft which you will then upload. However, it is not mandatory except you have a need to explain something about your application. Some prepare it as a proper formal letter. Mine was not exactly formal as I did not address it to anyone. Key thing is having a clear explanation of what you need to explain.

I also hear signature is not mandatory. Some say it is a preferred option.

Please people, I haff come again.

I want to understand what the LOE is. Is it a separate letter I need to draft? Or is there a slot on the online application portal for LOE? Does it need to be signed (if it's a letter)? Can someone pls assist with a sample?

ITA at last fam.
I can't believe it really.
After writing IELTS twice and almost giving up... choi.

My score increased from 414 to 474 after my remark.
God is indeed good.

My question plix grin :
For the PR application, it states to select if I would want to pay for only application fees only or application fees with the RPR together? What do y'all think? Kindly assist.
Thanks.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by winter(f): 5:31am On May 03, 2017
414 - with the old score
464 - with the new score upgrade

40manlappy:
Congrats! cheesy

Be patient, before this time tomorrow, your profile should have been updated. Thankfully, we are 5 hours ahead of Canny, so it should have updated before tomorrow's expected draw. ITA loading wink

What is your CRS score?

TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by winter(f): 3:57pm On Mar 16, 2017
Thanks for the response.
Have now seen it.

40manlappy:
Thanks for the insight, expecially at the bolded.

I also noticed that 1114 requires a bachelor degree while NOC 1212 is just fine with a lower qualification.

NOC 1114 looks like it smiley

Looping: winter
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by winter(f): 8:48am On Mar 16, 2017
I also went through NOC 1114 and did not find the duties of a Funds Transfer Officer listed under it.
Still not sure about NOC 1212 because it listed mainly supervisory duties.

40manlappy:
Would you mind sharing why you chose this instead of NOC 1212? I checked the main duties under NOC 1114 and I did not see the main duties of a Fund Transfer Officer under it.

Would your choice have been different if you were the unit head of Fund Transfer Unit in your branch? Please share your thoughts.

I was in the NOC 1241 which is in the B class.
Was just redeployed to Funds Transfer so was looking for a valid NOC to update my profile.

Haven't really started full time FT duties.

TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by winter(f): 3:15pm On Feb 24, 2017
I also wrote mine on the 11th of Feb for the 2nd time.
Writing same as the first time.... 6.5. I prepared for this one wella. My scores even improved in the other areas
I am requesting a remark asap.
No time.

ray78:
Pls who here has requested a remarking of their IELTS score and got an upgrade?I attempted my 2nd IELTS on February 11th and the scores were L8.5 R.8 S 7.5 W6.5 ,which pushed my points CRS from 409 to 420.However i believe if i request for my Wriiting to be re-marked i will get a 7.I also dont understand why the eaminers keep grading Writing low.

Secondly, how long should POF funds be in my account before submitting the statememt?i reckon my dad or uncle will be able to gift me 2 million naira AFTER i have gotten the ITA,hence submitting POF of approx 3 months statement.

Pls when did your open his/her EE profile?

Ehrnie:
My friend is having same issue. I am helping her with her application and I cannot download the NOI letter. Someone who has passed through this, please respond.

Also can someone please confirm that when you get NOI from Ontario, you go to their website and apply for Ontario's Express Entry Human Capital Priorities Stream? It is my understanding that the FSWP (Federal Skills Workers Program) falls under this. I am just being careful not to apply for the wrong scheme post NOI. N.B. My friend got a NOI yesterday via IRCC Express Entry....
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by winter(f): 2:03pm On Feb 24, 2017
When did you open your EE profile?

Temidewale:
It's open already, I got an ITA yesterday, CRS score is 422
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by winter(f): 9:33am On Feb 22, 2017
Thanks plenty smiley

boldinc:
I would advise you wait this week out... I haven't heard of anyone that got an NOI yet, but I can confirm those that have can send in their applications on the Ontario PNP website now.

Let's see how it goes this week as they only just re-opened.

I promise to give an update once I notice anything.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by winter(f): 8:13am On Feb 22, 2017
I opened an EE profile this month and selected Ontario in my profile.

DO I need to recreate another one?

boldinc:
Ontario application is open now... I will advise you create a new profile and chose Ontario as a province you will like to stay in. Once you do that, you should get an NOI immediately or thereabout. Your score is over 400 right?

Also, you have to pay a fee of 1,500 CAN USD when you submit your application.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by winter(f): 12:39pm On Feb 03, 2017
Hmmm... still not submitted after 24 hours.
But my updated details have been transmitted.

Don't know why its still not submitting the update? sad sad
Please advice house...

Hello all,

Please I don't know why my EE profile keeps stating "update not submitted" after I made changes to my profile.
Normally, it updates after 24 hours and I also get an e-mail notification to that effect.

The last change I made was last week Friday and I still have that message. Can someone please assist or explain what the problem might be?
Thanks.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by winter(f): 8:27am On Oct 25, 2016
Thank you grin

dupyshoo:
There are 2 stages of scoring under FSW:

First, to qualify for FSW, you have to be eligible by scoring 67 out of 100. Family in Canada help to increase score under this eligibility test. Please note that, if you are young and have good IELTS score, you will likely be able to meet the 67/100 requirement without the need of a family in Canada. Once you meet this eligibility test, you will be able to create your profile and enter the express entry pool

Second, in the pool, you will be assigned CRS score. It is this score that will determine whether you will be invited to apply or not. Family in Canada does not have any impacts on your CRS score.

OINP has been suspended temporarily. It will likely start again end of this year or beginning of next year.

Hello everyone,

I have gone through this thread back and forth and its so enlightening.
Please I just submitted my profile but cannot find Adaptability in my EE profile.
My husband has a brother in Canada and I am not getting points for it in my profile, I can't even see it listed when I log into my EE profile.
Am I doing something wrong?

Is the Ontario provincial nomination from the express entry pool still ongoing?

I will be re-taking IELTS to boost my score. Found the practice links posted earlier here.
