Admisions to EMU for the Fall semester is being brought to you by TSA-EMU.

The Students Recruitment Agency(TSA) is a certified and fully accredited recruitment agency for Eastern Mediterranean University (E.M.U).

It was started out of sheer goodwill and a deep sense of purpose and direction to help students wishing to pursue their higher education in EMU, especially African students, without much hassles.

We offer the following services:

-Providing the right help and support for the EMU applicant in areas of Application procedures.
-Directing the international applications to the correct EMU departments and following up from the Registrar’s office.
-Developing support materials such as information on visa requirements, detailed information on flights (to and from Cyprus), accommodation and transportation facilities in Cyprus.
-Finding suitable accommodation for international students in or around the EMU campus.
-Working in coordination with related departments to provide pre-information about living in EMU and the city Famagusta.

Scholarships:

Courtesy of the university, scholarships are given to societies each semester that have a large number of students enrolled in the university. This scholarship is for freshmen or new students that have newly enrolled in the university and it is awarded based on student performance in an examination. At convenient times during the semester dates are announced when the examinations will take place. The exams cover a number of subject areas like Basic Mathematics, English, Social Sciences, Computer Sciences, aptitude, sciences and General Knowledge. The number of students selected each semester varies. This scholarship is valid as long a student is able to maintain a CGPA of 2.5 and above and a semesterial GPA not less than 2.0. The scope of this scholarship is as follows;

Half Scholarship:
This scholarship covers only half of the students’ tuition fee.

Quarter Scholarship:
This scholarship covers a quarter of the students’ tuition fee.

@win4 u still havnt answer my question.gyd emu will use d DOB on my int pp and get an affidavit to back it up .wat nw happens during document verification cos my real date of birth is on both my waec result and my transcript.wat happens wen i graduate and am having diffrent DOB on my emu certificate and my other docs cos u said emu would use the DOB on my int pp mind u dat is nt my real DOB, again abt the sch scholarship a friend told me the sch is trying to stop it for the coming session feb 2012 .how true is this

You are trying to look for what is talking inside radio. Most Nigerians don't have stable DOB, it changes with situation. Abeg, understand the guy lolz

@wip4, thanks 4 the good work.please i nid clarification on this, i want to apply for masters at EMU, the date of birth on my pp is different from the one on my transcript, thankz to nigeria immigration o hav travel to nairobi on this pp and changing the DOB on my pp to the oringinal DOB on my trnscript seems abortive. please advise, which DOB should i apply with? and i hope i wldnt hav issues both at the embassy and during my registration at EMU

please nigerians in north cyprus,i want to know if a student in north cyprus requires visa to visit turkey.because i have a cousin who got admitted in a north cyprus university and i heard those machine parts are cheap in turkey and i want to be sending him money so that he will help me to buy some heavy duty truck parts that are scarce and costly in nigeria and send to me.

There is no oda relatively affordable medical skul outside Nigeria whose admission is still on. At least nt any that i knw of. Ukraine is still d best choice bt i wld av to wait till nxt yr n dts out of it.

wip7 is dia any skul in cyprus dt offers any biomedical course like anatomy or physiology. Wen i finish wt dt i'l knw i av a degree den i can further n go for medicine again.

^^^^ thank you man I was expecting a barrage of replies but with your intelligent response who need's any other response (na lie o abeg make landers yan me more tory o) . I read thru rhat thread and damn it's rich with info I guess the risk is what taking so I will target north cyprus for the masters and struggle to get a good grade then I can get an offer to do phd in a cool turkish school it's a risk I know but it's actually worth it or did i miss your point?

Thanks to good advice from nairalanders I have shelved my plan of pursuing a masters in ukraine although this might mean loss of money already invested but i don't mind.
Now I want real advice about studying in north cyprus i have enough funds to last me through the period of the masters program alone but i will like to proceed to canada to do a phd before returning to nigeria . Here is my question
would i be able to save enuff money from doing menial jobs in TRNC or even turkey in 2 years to pursue my phd program or this plan is not feasible.
And would you advice somebody who can only afford the finances for the masters program alone to come spend it or should he just use the money to run his masters and phd here in nigeria.
Please do respond as you would your own siblings and I believe the lord would respond to your own issuess to. Thank you.

ok, but the person that introduced me to the school said processing it by oneself would take time and i might not be able to meet up with admission by february.

You must run before you fly. Looking for agent will land you in loss. If you can't meet up with the admission, how would an agent did it for you? wip7 is a representation of the international center and he has assisted in giving info where reqired. I will suggest you face your studies and think of transfer next year. However, I wonder why you want to drop medicine for pharmacy.

i need to transfer to CIU from nigeria. the problem there is dt am a medical student here bt they dont av medicine at both CIU n EMU just pharmacy, so i'm kind of wonderin if they would accept transfer to that pharmacy and if there is an agent here that could help me with the processin

when will EMU start their medicine and surgery programme, and if they are not starting soon, which other university can you recommend in north or south cyprus or even turkey.

Hello wip, please i want make an inquiry- i was admitted into emu recently with scholarship as an undergraduate student in political science for spring semester.
But now,i intend to change my degree to business administration due to some certain circumstances.
Hence, will it be easy to switch academic discipline immediately i arrive at the school? (more so,after going thru your posts on dis thread, i sincerely commend u for your great assistance to the nairalanders.
