euroboy95:My email address is in my signature of each message I respond to here. |
euroboy95:You can apply for visa irrespective of the university you are studying in TRNC, however, you must satisfy the consular and meet the visa requirements before you will be issued a visa. The visa of about 7 countries under the Schengen agreements can be assessed from TRNC and others can be assessed from their main embassy in Turkey. Cyprus is a small island, so you can access all the university within 1-2 hrs reach. You can do google search for the tuition of each university to know which is the lowest. |
Xrayy:You can get boarding passes yourself. You have to check-in online and after you checked-in, you will have an electronic boarding pass you can print. When you get to Istanbul, there is two pathway you can get to passenger section. Either via a gate that a visa will be requested or via a path of those with boarding passes. Just show a coloured printout of your boarding passes to those security officials u will be fine. They will allow u pass through and enter the passenger section rather than visa checking gate. |
Xrayy:There is no policy of not changing airline. However, you will need a transit visa to check in to your next flight. Or, you have your boarding pass of the next airline before you arrive Istanbul. Two of my students flew to Nigeria just 1-2 weeks ago via other airlines...so Unless the rules changes yesterday! If you wish, you can confirm from the airport before you go but I doubt nothing something of this nature. |
America001:You have been replied. Cakay:Your friend has zero knowledge of the embassy. The embassy doesn't dictate your life, you have chosen a program and you should be able to provide reasons why you have chosen the program. We currently have top-rated Nigerian of eastern decent as an Associate Professor in Business Admin in Cyprus. He studied microbiology in his undergraduate in Nigeria and studied MBA and PhD in Business in Cyprus. He is currently the dean of Business in his University. Best wishes. |
Adeolaraji:You can email me and mention your name. I received documents from various students and no way I can know you by your Nairaland username. However, I have submitted all documents I had received for admission and waiting for evaluation. |
DerrickOfficial:Each has its advantages and disadvantages. To get the answers you want, you should spend time to research the countries based on the factors that suit your term "better". You can do that by deep learning via internet search, university sites, country information and views of residents. Then make your conclusion. |
Adeolaraji:Received! |
Adeolaraji:Nope I did not receive an email from you. My email address is in my signature, kindly check to ensure is correctly identified. |
America001:Regarding tuition fees, you don't need to wait for offer letters to compare cost. Each university state cost on their websites. MBA at EMU for the entire program is 8000 USD, CIU 3900 euro, CSU 3490euro etc all these fees already include 50% scholarship. 1. Yes, admission can be deferred, however, when you want to actually resume you will be re-evaluated. 2. University doesn't ask for sponsor bank statement in TRNC, the only embassy required that during visa application. Best wishes! |
Aperion7:There are vacancies year round when you have your money. Now many students graduated last semester and plenty vacancies for newcomers. |
Eraytee:Each university has a start date mostly written on the admission letter or university website for specific semester. The date designated for classes to commence is same for all programs irrespective of level (bachelor, master Or Phd). |
America001:1. University don't write deadline for payments. The classes starts in October, you are expected to pay the deposit before you can be issued documents for visa. For all students wishing to start studies in Sept/OCTOBER, Its advisable to make payment atleast before September. 2. It's depends on you, however, admission processing is still ON. |
Eraytee:Good day, I received lots of emails...So I don't know exactly which one is yours...but surely, I attended to nearly all emails I received. |
femmoy:For undergrad application: high school result, international passport page. For master program, you will need to include university transcript and certificate. |
zodbaba:Try diamond their service seems fast. It's only bank official can answer the question of getting direct CBN rate or not. |
Adeolaraji:To apply for an undergraduate program, you must be less than 25years irrespective of your former studies. There is no definite years/time you will spend as a transfer student, it depends on your transcript, grades and how relevant/related are courses you have passed to courses being offered in your chosen program. Yes, you will be considered for a scholarship. |
jnrremedy:1. 7 days 2. First point of transit entry will be airport you will land in Turkey ( either ISTANBUL OR ANKARA Airport). 3. Put your university name and address as stated on your admission letter and choose MERSIN as the state. |
Kj40:CSU offers same benefits you will enjoy in other universities. CSU does not have exchange program abroad and CSU is accredited by both YOK AND YODAK which are the two major accreditation bodies for any universities in TRNC. Master program is roughly 3400 euro to complete the program. |
jnrremedy:Put both documents as one file in PDF and upload. You will be issued single entry visa. |
America001:Admission does not have time frame here. I applied for EMU, CIU,CSU. |
Eraytee:Yes, I did receive your email and I just responded. Thanks! |
. |
America001:Yes, I did. |

Trippeji:Traveling health insurance for visa: just buy 1-7 days in Nigeria. After registration with your uni, your student registration will come with health insurance so you won't need to pay extra since most university already charge for it. |
tcitachi:Sounds good but for the sake of Nairaland it will be nice for everyone to read comments from this forum rather than diverting to whatsapp. Specifically for me, I don't do chatting and these mobile stuffs. |

Aperion7:It may work out and may not. But hope for the best. Offcamp accommodation cost varies based on the city you are living, from personal research it ranges 300-650 euros per month for one unshared room. |
Trippeji:Documents received and assessing the documents. |
tcitachi:What they are proposing is a "bizonal bicommunal federation" meaning there will be two regions in the federation and each community will administer one region. Yes, the name changes back to the Republic of Cyprus, the northern region will then tend to follow more of European policies, rules, doctrines and format. The north may fully adopt Euro over time as currency and currently, only a few universities charge USD most charge in euro. There are more universities in the north and fees may likely not increase for the newer universities but older ones may likely flex muscle. Accommodation and similar kinds of stuff will likely increase due to currency change in the North. Job opportunities likely increase but immigration will likely be tightened to control mass inflow. These are just my opinion though....may not reflect the future happenings! |
