A quick search for DINO on ABU Alumni list..Confirms that the senator was not a graduate of the said university irrespective of any year he claims he graduated. You can also do some search...

OdunHD:The level you will be admitted is based on the courses you have done, passed at acceptable grade level and relevant to METU courses. This can only be determined after you are admitted. This promotion is basically for METU Campus in Cyprus. Or how much is engineering in the NC campus? What Scholarship do you think I can also get between the 25-100%?Fees for any program in METU Cyprus is 9000usd without a scholarship. All applicants are assessed for scholarship and you can be awarded between 25 to 100% and that will determine your final fees. Based on your grade you likely will be considered for 50%. |
FALL SEMESTER ADMISSION is opened in METU ...Benefit from Scholarships ranging from 25-100% for academically sound students.
|
fashmann:1. You will pay one semester fee roughly 2200usd 2. Installments are allowed only after your first semester and it's listed on emu website. Meaning you can't pay installments as a new student. |
fashmann:There are other universities offering Nursing in English in Cyprus or why must it be EMU? Pharmacy with 50% scholarship is 5700USD per year and Physiotherapy 4400usd. |
fashmann:Yes, there are universities offering nursing via English medium. |
Shakitibob0:My email address is right there in my signature. |
fashmann:If you have the requested ready. Mail me those documents for the admission, let me know the course you wish to study. After you application is assessed, if ok, you will be issued admission letter. Then you will need to pay first deposit to EMU account. Then payment confirmation and visa preparation. |
elijah101:They may be verifying some details regarding his admission or documents submitted. Or the guy has lost his passport same way he lost his testimonial. I can't comprehend why testimonial is being requested anyway. Unfortunately beyond March, he may not be issued visa since mid-exam will be knocking in most schools. Let hope for the best! If he lives around, he can visit then weekly. Best wishes to him! |
CaptPlanet:Depends on the funds you have. For instance, EMU master program will cost you around 5700 euro based on current exchange rate, while some others are cheaper, almost 4000 euros. If you are ready let me know, so I can apply for you, and you can choose from EMU, CIU, METU, CSU, EUL and many other universities in Cyprus. For a master program, you will need to have your bachelor certificate, transcript and international passport page. Regarding job opportunities immediately you finish, is not what any person can guarantee. Many finished the tourism or others but have no job while many also finished and some got the job...What I have learnt here is that if you are ready to speak the language..you may easily find tourism related jobs. Also, if you consider teaching, there are fewer graduates of tourism with PhD around for now. Best wishes in your decision. |
Are you interested in studying at METU?
|
CaptPlanet:The entire tuition fee for the program depends on the program and university. It ranges 3900-5000 euros for the entire program. What is it like living there after studies? Do they issue pr after studies? I also heard tourism and hospitality mgt is the most lucrative course there, how true is this?Cyprus don't issue PR after studies. However, after studies, you are free to apply for a job, can live and work provided you have the legal permits. We have lots of graduates working after their studies, and there universities employing qualified graduates. Yes, Tourism and hospitality is good since some of the students find jobs in accommodation/hotel industries. Is it possible to move to another country from there like say canada? Pls don't mind my plenty questions.Cyprus does not stop you from moving to wherever you choose to move to. Hence, you can move to anywhere provided you have the requirements to be admitted to your destination. |
GLOBALINF:Your advert is misleading... 1. Cyprus is not in Eastern Europe 2. The tuition fees for master in EMU is not 3600 euro is roughly 6000 USD even with a scholarship (50%). 3. There is no FREE transportation for students around the city 24/7 unless specific university buses to specific destinations. 4. Discount card to shop does not work in Cyprus. Is good and important for prospective students to be told the truth rather than fancy lies! Kindly change does pieces of stuff in your advert. #Take note: Am Asst Professor here in Cyprus, with practical knowledge of South and North Cyprus! |
john335:First, most universities like EMU, METU etc don't register students after add and drop period. Reason being that some of the classes might have conducted quiz or covered some lectures the students may not be able to cope. While some universities can still register the student and may not care if the student fails or not. So in the case of EMU, the student that comes late will be registered as a student but may have to wait until the following semester to start classes. Some universities hostel are filled up and that may lead the late comer to go outside searching for an apartment. That is not a problem anyway. But what is the essence of just paying an exorbitant amount for an apartment/hostel for almost 7 months when the student is not registered to take courses? Jobs are scarce so...what if the person does not find one and still paying for an apartment and eating daily? Take note, due to the exchange rate, this place is times 5 expensive compared to Nigeria. Best wishes in whatever decision the person takes! |
lexycool01:You may get recommendation letter but the embassies are more interested in your travelling histories, ties that will make you return, financials and how relevant what to you want to do during your trips to what you are currently doing. |
lexycool01:They do grant visas. Good traveling history, a tie that will likely show you will return after the conference are what they mostly look for here. Sometime they look for gap in your educational life or little background check. Just around January second week, my two undergrad and master students applied for a conference in Florida. One has spent just one year in Cyprus and been to Italy. The other lady been to U.K.....both were issued 2 yrs multiple entry USA visa ...the visa officer did not even check the bank statement nor collect it.. she only asked questions related to their sponsors and how the conference is related to their studies. |
Xrayy:Use MNG kargo. |
tcitachi:As soon as they recieve your payment. |
tcitachi:Classes already started for the spring entry. I doubt the embassy will issue the visa... but you can try. So, first book appointment and see the appointment date. If the appointment day is early than 15th March .. you can try but if more than... don't go waste your 250 usd visa fee. |
tcitachi:Have you gotten your visa yet? Cos having CAL does not translate to having issued visa. If you have your visa and you wish to travel to Cyprus this month without registering until Sept... the question is what will you be doing till Sept? Where will you stay? You have all the finances to allow you stay till Sept? To your questions.. yes you can decide to register in Sept; however, you will only be issued 90 days stay on arrival. After 90 days your stay expired. YOu may or may not be fined when you want to do your resident permit. Documents for resident permits willbe communicated to you by your university. The most important one is student registration certificate and health report. |
Xrayy:Having a workpermit will boost you rather than ruin you. However, most times you can't hold two valid permits on your passport here unless one is canceled. If not your place of work will be paying double tax since you have student permit and you want to get work permit. |
tcitachi:Ok |
willjoe:Ok |
tcitachi:Could be due to the fact that the university already resumed for the semester you applied for. Kindly send me your complete documents for next entry. You can only be issued visa from August 2017 and you can travel then, if you applied for FALL 2017 entry. |
Tonysax:You had sent me email before and I responded to your email. EMU, METU, EUL don't admit students with HND into master programs. Send me your complete transcript for OND, HND, certificates and international passport page may likely secure you admission with other universities. |
willjoe:Spring (Feb) 2017 semester has started. Next entry is FALL(Sept) 2017. Admissions and issuing of acceptance letters commence next month. |
fashmann:You need your olevel certificate, international passport page and photograph passport ONLY... for an undergraduate application. |
remsonik:It depends on what you want to send and weight/size. Then you can get some advices |
fashmann:Unfortunately you can't meet up the spring semester again. The semester started already and university won't send your name to embassy even you make payment. Get all your documents ready towards FALL 2017 entry (Sept). When your documents are complete, let me know! |
terrywales:Sure you will be issued TR visa..as I know there is a letter like student letter always given to graduates showing they had graduated and that will suffice for your student letter. Your case is different from those that had not graduated and wanting to be issued TR visa. Best wishes |
elijah101:A testimonial is not a certificate issued after completing a course. So such won't be attested by the ministry of education. However, he may need to notarize it, even though any entity can issue such! The embassy seems to loose its value by asking for trivial stuff like this. |
maestrojay:The cheapest master program is 3800 euro entire program. |
