Why shout ''change'' like a rabid nfested dog, if u still wanna behave like gej?
Let's just say that General Buhari is just balancing the equation naw. You GEJ folks now want us to forget GEJ's own history in this regard, right? You want to apply a different standard to Buhari now? For your mind!

You have a certificate but, ur brain dont have not even one. Go home and research and stop fellowing people. Buhari is yet to convince Nigerians on what he intend doing.
You are indeed hopeless. You don't speak for me bro. Am a Nigerian and Buhari has convinced me that he's the change we need. Next time don't just make a blanket statement. You can only speak for yourself.

You and your fellow GEJ worshippers may not be convinced about Buhari, but next time put that into context coz there are tens of millions of Nigerians who HAVE DECIDED to give him our votes, and no amount of propaganda from you and your hero GEJ can alter that. Punnk!

Maybe that's coz your punkas$z got no reasonable/meaningful comeback. Very typical of a GEJite. Again, I ask you. Why was your principal, GEJ, unwilling to debate Buhari in 2011, but all of a sudden he's now all geared up, ready and willing? Fckuking HYPOCRITE!

PDP tried the religion card against Buhari, they failed. Then they jumped on certificate, again they failed. Now these hypocrites are high on debates. Again they shall fail, woefully.
Politics › Re: Buhari Is Running Away From Debates And Must Be Rejected Come Feb. 14 - PDP by WisdomFlakes: 11:28am On Feb 03, 2015
PDP thinks Nigerians are stupid. They tried certificate angle, it failed. Now it's about debate or no debate.

They forget that GEJ skipped same debate in 2011 while this same Buhari honoured it. GEJ won that election in spite of refusing to debate Buhari then. But now they are having selective amnesia. We are not fools.

Will shifting the elections not further make room for heating the polity?
It probably will. It will only create more ANXIETY as most Nigerians can't wait to have this election done and over with already.
Politics › Re: Govt. May Shift Polls By Six Weeks - Dailytimes by WisdomFlakes(op): 7:37am On Feb 03, 2015
The biggest headache for GEJ and his team is JEGA's refusal to 'play ball'. I don't think Nigerians appreciate how terrified the ruling party is about the REAL possibility of losing power to the opposition, FOR THE FIRST TIME IN NIGERIA'S HISTORY!

They never foresaw what is currently happening, else they would have done more to prevent losing five governors to the opposition, and more critically, they would have done more to frustrate Buhari's emergence.
Politics › Re: Govt. May Shift Polls By Six Weeks - Dailytimes by WisdomFlakes(op): 7:31am On Feb 03, 2015
PDP would rather the country break than lose to Buhari in a free & fair election. Virtually ALL their intelligence sources point to a HIGH probability of GEJ's loss at the coming polls. It really is a hard pill to swallow for this administration.

Listen; Jonathan is the best candidate, I also endorse him. What is Osibanjo doing as a running mate with Buhari a muslim. It is a slap on God's face. The APC'S PLAN IS TO ISLAMISE NIGERIA AND GOD WON'T ALLOW IT. JONATHAN IS DOING WELL BUT HE HAS BAD PEOPLE AROUND HIM DISCREDITING HIS ACHIEVEMENTS. I AM HAPPY THE CHRISTIAN LEADERS ENDORSED JONATHAN.

AS FOR PRIVATE JETS, IT IS GOD'S DESIRE THAT ALL CHRISTIAN LEADERS HAVE ONE FOR THE WORK OF THE MINISTRY. THERE IS NO WAY TO EFFECTIVELY SPREAD THE GOSPEL WITHOUT OWNING ONE ESPECIALLY IF A MINISTRY ENTAILS FREQUENT TRAVELLING.

THOSE PEOPLE CANVASSING THAT PASTORS SHOULD NOT OWN JETS. JETS ARE LIKE INTERNATIONAL CARS. THE POOR WILL NEVER BE SATISFIED EVEN IF YOU FEED THEM EVERYDAY. TELLING A PASTOR TO SELL HIS JET AND GIVE HIS MONEY TO THE POOR IS LIKE TELLING YOU TO SELL YOUR CAR AND GIVE THE MONEY TO THE POOR AND START TREKKING. P. JET IS A NECESSITY NOT A LUXURY.
I can't believe you actually just spewed this garbage! Is it not from the poor tithe-payer's money that these pastors pay for these jets?? How many of their members can afford the kind of lifestyle they live, on tithe-payers money o, or afford to send their children to the schools that these pastors run, again from tithe-payers money?? Think b4 you spew thrash next time!

If the gov't has noble intentions for the proposition, fine. But if it's a pretext to try to reverse this administration's increasing loss of credibility and Buhari's rising profile, I'd advice them to have a rethink, coz if the result of the certificate saga is anything to go by, they could end up looking even more desperate than they currently do.

Monday Agu Jnr,Abuja

Citing the need to defuse the rising tension in the land, among other reasons, the Federal Government is set to shift the coming polls by six weeks, the Daily Times has learnt.

The presidential and National Assembly elections are currently scheduled for February 14, while those of the states will hold on February 28.
Daily Times authoritatively learnt that under the new proposal, the elections may now hold at the end of March.
The proposed change is hinged on the mounting tension in the country sequel to violent displays at some of the ongoing campaigns across the country.

The feeling inside government circles is that there is need to let the tension, which is nearing boiling point in the country at the moment, come down before the election could hold, otherwise there could be an implosion.

Sources say that within the six weeks, efforts will be made to calm frayed nerves and encourage more people to embrace peace.
It is feared that the presidential election in particular may lead to an implosion in the country.

The body language in the North suggests a possible repeat of the bloodletting that occurred after Jonathan was declared winner of the 2011 election, if the incumbent wins again. It is also feared that a similar turmoil may erupt, especially in the South South, if General Muhammadu Buhari of the All progressives Congress (APC) wins the election. Jonathan of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is an Ijaw from the South South area of the country.

Besides, there is uncertainty over whether the elections could validly hold in the North Eastern states of Borno, Yobe and Adamawa which have been wracked by the Boko Haram insurgency. There are security concerns over the safety of full-time and ad-hoc staff of the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) during the polls.

This development was further accentuated by the recent declaration by European Union Election Observers who said they would not be visiting the troubled states over concerns for their safety.

Another reason being adduced for the proposed shift is the non-availability of the Permanent Voters Cards (PVC) across the states. The fear is that this may end up in the disenfranchisement of many eligible voters.

Thus, the Presidency believes that shifting the polls by about six weeks would allow more people to get their PVCs and be eligible to vote.
Indeed, Section 26 (6) of the Electoral Act 2010 stipulates that an election to the office of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria shall be held not earlier than 150 days to the expiration of the date of office and not later than 30 days to the expiration of the office.
Thus, if the six weeks shift is finally accepted, it will be within the time stipulated by the Electoral Act as there will be about 60 days before the expiration of the incumbent’s stay in office.

Last month, the National Security Adviser, Colonel Sambo Dasuki (Rtd) at a talkshop in the UK mooted the idea of a slight shift in the date of the elections, a development that has sparked heated debates across the country.

WHo the FkUck is Jonathan?

1.Under his watch Boko Haram has murdered over 10,000 Nigerians
2.Under Jonathan, over a million Nigerians have become IDP (internally displaced persons)
3.Under Jonathan a whoping $20 billion goes missing
4.Under Jonathan, a territory the size of Belgium is under the control of Boko Haram
4.Under Jonathan, over 200 Chibok girls were kidnapped and are still missing
5.Under Jonathan, we are told by Jonathan himself that he knows Boko Haram has infiltrated his admin, yet he did nothing about it, no arrest, nothing.
6.Under Jonathan $1 > =N=200
7.Under Jonathan, Jonathan defended MEND from culpability for the Abuja bombing, only to turn around and later tell us the same MEND tried to assassinate him
8.Under Jonathan, we are told that "corruption is not stealing"

More to come....

Someone without good educational background would never know the importance of education.
Buhari has failed more than twice and will still fail again and again. It will happen like film.
Don't be deceived by the crowd u see @ the campaign ground bc over 50% of them are there for money and recharge card APC will share while over 30% of them don't even kw why they are there.
Don't forget that 22 states are for PDP and one APC state (Rivers) is for PDP too bc APC will only get just one vote there which is Amaechi

Nigeria must go forward.

GEJ till 2019
Why are you deceiving yourself my guy? That you repeat a lie a million times will never make it true.

FACT: Most PDP governors, especially in the North, have already come out PUBLICLY to express their FAILURE to check Buhari's popularity in their backyard. LISTEN, and LISTEN good, this is not about Politics: BUHARI WILL OVERWHELMINGLY DEFEAT GEJ in total votes cast in the North West and North East -- and will likely split votes in the North Central. To delude yourself into thinking that Jonathan stands a chance in the core north (comprising the North West and East, which the same Buhari swept last time around) is simply just that -- delusion. Wake up bro.

This is speaking from a neutral perspective and not as a supporter of any party.
This is actually not soo surprising. I've observed recently that of all the governors in the PDP fold, the most vocal in this campaign for Jonathan seems to be the governor of Ekiti State.

Why hasn't any other PDP governor lunch similar attacks against the APC ? In fact, considering the fact that Ekiti State is one of the least well off interms of resources among these PDP states, once will still excuse Fayose for acting within the limits of his resources(if he choses to).

The fact that the likes of Akpabio, Jang, Uduagan, etc have been at most passively campaigning for Jonathan despite all the goodwill they've enjoyed makes me thinks that all may not be well with the ruling party.

I will expect at least one PDP governor or aspirant to match Fashola or Oshiomole in terms of direct criticsm of Buhari, but apart from all these lies about certificates and someone saying that Buhari will not be good to rule the country as he's not computer literate, I can only describe the support from these governors as passive or blunt.

Are these governor's trying to play safe to avoid the consequences should things not go as planned for Jonathan ? Honestly, anyone will want the likes of Fayose in his camp because of the level of commitment he's shown to Jonathan and he's won my admiration for that but when one looks at the attitude of the other PDP governors, honestly, I pity GEJ and wether or not he wins the election, I'm not sure he's lucky enough to have the kind of support he needs at this critical time.
I totally agree with your submission. In fact, to buttress your point, I had to express my concern along the same lines recently in a convo with a friend as to why someone like Mimiko isn't matching Fayose naira for naira in his support for GEJ. My best guess is that these folks are disgruntled and are not really committed to Jonathan's re-election.

It's you PDP folks that need to wise up and quit taking this election overly personal, as though PDP is your family. For lots of Buhari supporters, we could care less what party or platform he's running under; I know I don't. But we are happy that we at least have a rare opportunity to collectively CHANGE a sitting government from one party to another, irrespective of party affiliation.

That message in itself speaks volumes for our democracy and will signal its maturity from infancy.

If this Buhari project succeeds, it'll signal to future presidents that POWER INDEED BELONGS TO THE PEOPLE. If you fail to perform to the expectations of the majority, irrespective of your tribe or religion or party, YOU WILL BE BOOTED OUT! No amount of blackmail will change that.

That is what this election represents for me.
