In the church today , all the babes were eyeing me. Some even smiled at me, giving me all kinds of romantic signs. But I didn't approach any of them because I respect God's presence. I think they Like my swag ![]()

The Presidency has accused the All Progressives Congress, APC, Presidential Candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) of avoiding a debate with his Peoples Democratic Party counterpart and incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan. The Presidency alleged that Buhari and his campaign organisation had rebuffed all entreaties to get the former head of state to debate with President Jonathan. The Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Dr. Reuben Abati, made the allegation in a piece entitled ‘We challenge Buhari to a debate’. Abati said, “The man to blame for this denial is General Muhammadu Buhari, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress. Getting him to debate the incumbent, President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, has been an uphill task. “To say that the man is scared, practically running away from an opportunity to debate his ideas against the incumbent’s, is to be charitable. He doesn’t want it. Every effort to get him to the podium has been rebuffed by him and his handlers”. He added that while Jonathan accepted invitations to two presidential debates before the elections were rescheduled, “Buhari was not interested” in any of them. The presidential spokesperson noted that every Nigerian would love to see the PDP and APC presidential candidates in a debate, being the main contenders in the election. According to him, that would be good for our democracy. Abati recalled that the first group that approached Jonathan was represented by John Momoh of Channels TV; Emeka Izeze of The Guardian, and Nduka Obaigbena of ThisDay, Arise TV and the Newspapers Proprietors Association of Nigeria. He said while the Presidency agreed to any Sunday, Buhari allegedly rejected a Sunday because “he does not work on Sundays”. Abati further said the APC candidate also rejected a Monday offer. He added that both parties later agreed to a Tuesday. “Two days to this debate that would have been, I received non-stop frantic calls from the troika of Momoh, Izeze and Obaigbena. There had been a development, they said. The fresh development was that they had met that same evening with General Buhari and he did not agree anymore to a debate with President Jonathan. “Rather, he wanted a town hall meeting, in which he would be the sole participant. Another town hall meeting could be organised the same day for President Jonathan and both could be aired back to back. That was his request and wish. Momoh and co wanted the President to agree to this”, he said. Abati said the Nigeria Elections Debate Group was the second group to invite the two leading candidates to a debate. The presidential spokesperson added, “The Buhari camp, again, rejected this invitation on the grounds that the media houses involved were pro- government and therefore partisan”. In its reaction, the APC Presidential Campaign Organization faulted the Presidency for being hypocritical as it recalled that during previous elections, the PDP had always rejected debate offers by Buhari to the candidates of the ruling party. The Director, Media and Publicity of the APCPCO, Mr. Garba Shehu, queried why the PDP-led presidency did not cry foul when former President Olusegun Obasanjo, the late ex-President Umaru Yar’Adua and the incumbent rejected the APC presidential candidate’s offer to engage them in debates during the 2003, 2007 and 2011 elections. Shehu asked, “Was it alright when it happened in 2003, 2007 and 2011? If it (rejection) was right then, what makes it wrong now?” |
WisdomFlakes:Thank PDP and the military for election postponement, as it turn out card reader had problems in kano. If the election had hold on feb 14, APC would have protest that PDP rigged the election in kano. |
WisdomFlakes:Like Seriously! You are not making any sense. Every Nigerian now know that INEC wasn't ready to conduct election on feb 14th. My question is why did INEC claim to be ready when they know they are not? Maybe they already have a candidate in mind. |
One thing I'm sure of is that Apc is never happy to hear any success as regards to boko haram. |
The Peoples Democratic Party Presidential Campaign Organisation (PDPCO) says the All Progressives Congress (APC), its presidential candidate, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd), Governor Kashim Shettima of Borno State and the party’s National Publicity Director, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, should be held responsible if the abducted Chibok girls are not found. The campaign organisation was reacting to an APC statement, yesterday, which described as callous, morbid and insensitive the comments by President Goodluck Jonathan that the abducted girls are still alive hinged on the belief that Boko Haram had not displayed their bodies to prove their death. “Whilst the majority of Nigerians are overjoyed by the fact that the President has given us hope by saying that the girls are still alive, Lai Mohammed and the APC are not happy,” a statement by the Director, Media and Publicity of PDPPCO, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode said. “The truth is that they do not want those girls to be found and neither do they care about their welfare or their safety. We say this because this was a man, and a party that complained and protested at the fact that Boko Haram was proscribed by the Federal Government last year. “Lai Mohammed proclaimed that the proscription was unjust and unconstitutional. We have always believed that Buhari, Lai Mohammed, Governor Shettima and the APC know far more about the whereabouts of the Chibok girls and the activities of Boko Haram than they have cared to admit. “Let it be clearly understood that if anything happens to those girls and if they are not produced at the soonest, we will hold Lai Mohammed, Buhari and the APC responsible,” Fani-Kayode said. |

Happy married life . I wonder how their children will be like.... |
In a rather strange turn of events, a woman has vowed against men and married her pet dog. 47 year old Amanda Rodgers from Brixton in south London was married to a man 20 years ago, but the relationship unfortunately lasted no more than a few short months, so dismayed she decided to swear against men and turn to dogs. Amanda states that the reason she decided to wed her pet dog was because she had all the qualities that she was looking for in a life partner: “Sheba had been in my life for years, making me laugh and comforting me when I was feeling low.” Proceedings started out in a traditional way, when Amanda got down on one knee and proposed to her pet dog, Sheba. Though the dog could not respond, Rodgers says that she “could tell by her tail wagging that she said yes.” More than 200 people attended the wedding which took place in Split, Croatia. Rodgers embraced the day fully making sure that everything was to her liking, adding that: “I’d dreamed of a perfect wedding dress since I was small, I made it myself for the ceremony. The day was wonderful, more fun than the marriage. I gave her a kiss to seal the deal and then everyone threw confetti. It was a wonderful moment.” Despite it being a rather strange situation, Amanda doesn’t care what other people might think: “I know the wedding to Sheba wasn’t real in the legal sense. But was a nice way to mark what Sheba means to me. Sheba’s never unkind to me and she’s always happy.”

dre11:Stop deceiving yourself and tell urself the true . Pple like u have been calling jonathan who is ur president all sort of names like Clueless, drunkard e.t.c. APC is a party of Noise makers... |
puzo:Where were u when lai mohamma said FFK has a mental problem ? This a Nigeria politics for you. Moreover wats wrong in calling a man who forgot the name of his party, a man who forgot the name of his Vice, the man who forgot the new date of the election a brain dead man ? |
HrtBrkSteve:Are u a new in Nigeria? Didn't u hear APC calling jonathan a Clueless man ? APC should learn how to take what they give, and stop crying like a baby every time. The president has been called all sort of names by the APC , but he never cry like a spoil brat.... If buhari can't take pple's opinion abt him, he should retire from the race. |
myweb:B4 I tell you GEJ's qualification.. First of all show me buhari's certificate. |
I see some pple saying there is nothing wrong with the kiss. But if it's a man kissing a little girl nawh, everybody will scream wrong wrong. Woman has been freely rapping little boys since 1900 in nigeria. This is absolute wrong. Any stupid woman that tries that on my child will get a punch . |

MizTyna:APC is capable of doing anything to discredit GEJ administration. Tinubu is desperate for power. APC backbiting GEJ administration since 2011 |

podosci:GEJ negotiating with boko haram for the release of the chibok girls is far different from accusing the military for genocide against the North. |
I can remember vividly on a page of This day newspaper dated 03/01/2012, when Buhari accused the government of genocide and unfairness, asking that amnesty should be granted to Boko Haram like it was done to NigerDelta militants. It is disheartening that a man who is unstable and could go so low on tribalism is being considered to rule. He will fail again.

stonecoldcafe:All this confirmations without issue of certification? Bro! Abeg pack well. Have you seen a university graduate who was not issued a certificate by the school? |
Naijiant:Ignorance is really a problem in this Nigeria. According to Section 131(d) of the 1999 constitution of Nigeria, Section 131: "A person shall be qualified for election to the office of president if .. (d) he has been educated up to at least Senior School Certificate level or it's equivalent. Now , tell me how do will know he has a Senior school certificate? Buhari should just present his certificate and clear the wave instead of all this ranting. |
gists:Actually I think u are the one stupid here. marieolae:OMG! I need to know you more |
Samguine:Just recently, russian and china (who were not even a country of arm dealing with Nigeria) accepted and sold arms to nigeria ( after America and Israel who had been Nigeria's arm dealing country refused to sell arms to Nigeria on the allegation of human right abuse lay by amnesty commission against Nigeria military). Also , the pledge by Nigeria govt on the neighbouring countries to join in the fight against bokoharam become realistic just recently after they finally got a go ahead permission from the UN. |
