Anyone can succeed in any career choice introvert or not if there's a God factor and God in his diverse creations made everyone different and unique, some are ambivalent (50% intro 50%extro) vert, some are 80% 90% introverts and the remaining percent are made up of extroverted traits. This is a true story of an unforgettable near death experience I had on the night of 24th December, 2015 that changed my life forever. I decided to share this story here again not because I want you to castigate me for my act (you can't castigate me more than I have castigate myself), but because I believe a lot of people will learn from it and thereby avoid the pitfall in the coming 2017.

It all began when I attended the night church service held in my village. I came a little late so I wasn't opportune to get a seat. I had to stand up for the mass. After standing in the cold for about an hour, my legs began to shiver, I decided to walk toward the church gate and back to stretch my near stiffed knees.

As I got to the gate, I stood for a while and then turn around to walk back when I heard a female voice from the dark corner of the gate; she said, "it's boring right? ". I walked toward her to get a clear view of who was talking; I saw a light skin girl sitting on a small flower pavement. I asked her "what's boring?". "The service , the night, everything" She replied. It was obvious she wanted us to have a conversation, so I quickly sat down beside her.

To cut the story short, from our little conversation I got to know that her name is Aderoke, her father is from Ogun state while her mother is from my village. She was born and brought up in lagos and can't speak or understand Igbo language (meanwhile the service was coordinate in igbo language). This was few things I was able to get from her before she told me she was shivering due to the cold. As a sharp guy i reasoned she wanted me to cuddle her, so I told her to draw closer so I can hold her. Without hesitation she moved closer and placed her head on my shoulder while I placed my hand around her waist.

Everything went so fast, before I could say "bingo!" We were already into deep romance: kissing and groping . In the climax of it all she held me and whisper in my ear " fuk me please". As I look around for a more hidden corner, a part of me was persuading me to control my urge that she could be an agent of darkness sent to destroy me, and another part of me was telling me not to lose the opportunity that she's just a lonely girl in need of some fun. I fell for the latter. I got a more hidden corner were we began to have it; first she bend low while I got on her back ; after awhile she suggested I sit on a pavement there while she climb on top.

Few minutes afterward, I felt a sudden sharp pain on my butt, I thought it was an ant or something similar, but the pain grew bigger. With a trembling voice I told her to stop and get down that I think something bit me, but she was so carried aways that she couldn't hear me out. As the pain kept increasing , I had to push her out of me . I stood up, flash my phone touch in the pavement and there was a long big snake rowed up . The strange girl screamed and ran away. By then I was already feeling dizzy and fainting, I managed to pull myself back into the church premises and disclose to someone that I have been bitten by a snake after which I lost conscious of myself. I heard I was even fuming from the mouth.

After 2 days of serious traditional treatment, I regained consciousness. When I was asked to explain how I got bitten by a snake in the church, I didn't know what to say. I can't believe I nearly lost my life because of a few minutes romp with a total stranger, it's a very shameful thing to tell your family. The only person i finally told the true of what transpired was a man of God; whom after praying, disclosed to me that the strange girl has a jealous spiritual husband who is a serpent. So the snake that bit me wasn't ordinary.

I believe God gave me a second chance for a reason. And I have sworn never to continue my careless lifestyle, I have given my life to God and anything premarital sex is not for me anymore. I know it's not easy to overcome temptation of premarital sex, but I believe with pray and determination we can overcome anything.

My fellow Nairalanders join me and thank God for my life, and at the same time learn from my story. For the seek of your family and loved ones, stop living a careless life . Stop sleeping around with strangers, so many people knowingly or unknowingly have spiritual spouse, some of who are viciously jealous . Sex is sweet , but life is sweeter. Gambian President Yahya Jammeh has said that he rejects the outcome of last week's election that he lost to opposition leader Adama Barrow, only days after he conceded defeat to him in a public address.

The fresh announcement he made on state television on Friday throws the future of the West African country into doubt after the unexpected election results ended Jammeh's 22-year rule.
Jammeh had conceded defeat on state TV last week, prompting wild celebrations over the ending of a government that human rights groups accused of detaining, torturing and killing opponents.

"After a thorough investigation, I have decided to
reject the outcome of the recent election. I lament
serious and unacceptable abnormalities which
have reportedly transpired during the electoral
process," Jammeh said, changing his position on
the election results.

"I recommend fresh and transparent elections
which will be officiated by a God-fearing and
independent electoral commission," he said.

Jammeh's announcement presents an unexpected
and severe challenge to the incoming Barrow
administration, which was already grappling with
how to take the reins of power and deal with the
army that, for two decades, was loyal to the
president.

The latest official figures gave Barrow a narrower
win than initially announced - 43.29 percent of the
votes for Barrow and 39.64 for Jammeh. Voter
turnout was at 59 percent.

The African Union called Jammeh's rejection of the
results "null and void" since he had already
conceded defeat.

"The Chairperson of the Commission strongly urges
President Yahya Jammeh to facilitate a peaceful
and orderly transition and transfer of power," AU
chief Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma said, also calling
on Gambia's security forces to remain neutral.

Soldiers were seen placing sandbags in strategic
locations across the capital Banjul on Friday, a
development that triggered widespread unease
among the already-spooked population, who had

The 450 ex-Biafran policemen, who were pardoned in 2000
by ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo, would soon get their
pension and gratuities. The former Biafran policemen will get pension 46 years after the civil war ended in January 1970.

The Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate (PTAD)
which begins pensioners’ verification in northeast on
Monday, would pay the pension and gratuities after the
verification of the ex-policemen.

PTAD said it had enrolled about 220,000 pensioners and
uncovered 9,000 ghost payees, its Executive Secretary Mrs.
Sharon Ikeazor, said on Sunday.

She however said three former employees of PTAD were
sacked because of pension fraud and might be prosecuted
by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Two other seconded employees have been referred to the
Office of Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, for
disciplinary action, she added.

Pension payment would henceforth be effected by the 15th
day of every month, she said.
“I think we have about 220,000 pensioners nationwide on
the payroll.

She said that PTAD had entered into partnership with ICPC
and established an Anti-Corruption Unit (ACTU) to fight
fraud in the system.

“Also, what we are doing now is that we don’t make
pension payment into any account without BVN.
With this policy, we have dropped about 9,000 pensioners
because they don’t have BVN.

“Without BVN presupposes that they are ghost because we
inherited a lot of data that we cannot really verify.’’
She said PTAD would begin verification of pensioners in the
north east from Nov. 28.
Ikeazor said the first phase of the civil service pensioners’
verification would start from the north east region
comprising Adamawa, Bauchi, Taraba and Gombe states

“The first place to start the verification must be the north
east so that we can key into the Federal Government’s
efforts at rebuilding the northeast.

“We can’t forget the north, insurgency or no insurgency; we
are going in there to verify the pensioners so that we can
put them on the pay roll,’’ she said.

Ikeazor also said there were four of such pension
departments to be involved namely the Police Pension, the
Civil Service, Custom and Immigration as well as the
parastatals.

She said while PTAD would start with the civil service, the
other departments would foll soon.

The PTAD executive secretary said efforts would be made
to determine the state with the highest number of
pensioners through the nominal roll.

She said Adamawa, with a little over 2,000 pensioners, “will
take like a week to verify”.

No matter the economic situation in Nigeria, Gala has always
