By Innocent Anaba The Lower Niger Congress, LNC, made up of people of the South-East and South-South geo-political regions, has called for the restructuring of the country to allow each region feel equal with other regions in the country and to control their resources for the betterment of their people. It insisted that the outcome of the just concluded general elections was a conspiracy by the South-West and the Northern regions to sustain a master/slave relationship between and among the federating units. Spokesman of the group, Mr Tony Nnadi, who addressed newsmen in Lagos on the just concluded general elections, that said the 75 million people who make up the Lower Niger, will decide whether they want to remain in the Nigeria federation and under what constitution such relationship will be. Nnadi said that the celebrated democracy in Nigeria has left a deeply fractured nation where the ethnic nationalities that make up the Lower Niger region are treated as conquered people, who have lost their power to participate in the Nigerian state as equal pruners. Nnadi said the brazen manner in which the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, treated the Electoral Act with disdain, the flagrant abuse of voting in the North, the manipulation of the card reader scheme were all done to weaken the voting strength of the Lower Niger region while the North was given unfair advantage in the electoral contest. He added that the Lower Niger Congress was planning a self determination referendum in the region comprising of the South-South and South-East zones. Meanwhile, President of LNC, Elder Fred Agbeyegbe, said: “Even though many disputations around our constitutional foundation remain unattended to and particularly without any hope of federalism being ushered into Nigeria, Nigeria has, once again, had an election, which the international community with their so-called interest in the workings of democracy, have, from reports submitted by their appointed observers, adjudged peaceful, free and fair. “We are, nevertheless, compelled to observe that, even if the rest of the world cannot see through the facade of a penchant for democracy, we, the ethnic nationalities, minorities, owners of the resources, victims of and for whose sake the Nigerian brand of democracy was wrought, are aware that their commercial interests in a peaceful Nigeria, overrides any pretended interest in democracy. “Why else should the European Union and the United States of America, the citadels of the principles of equality, equity, fairness and justice, accept rules of democracy couched from a slavery-enacting document like the 1999 Nigerian Constitution imposed by one group in Nigeria over all else who had no participation in its making and from whence comes the Nigerian notion of democracy, considering that the Constitution is the instrument mandating the elections they came to Nigeria to observe? “Perhaps it is better left to posterity to ponder Foreign Secretary Kerry’s goading to quick elections in Nigeria in the same 2015, in which, based upon knowledge that so many ethnicities are entrapped in its slavery, some other Americans predicted that 2015 would usher in the death of Nigeria as a nation state. For our part, the writing is now on all walls, that it is time that those of us entrapped in the Lower Niger, the area more at the receiving end of Nigeria’s feudalistic system driven by the 1999 Constitution, should, soonest, examine our obviously un-abating status of ‘’slaves.” www.vanguardngr.com/2015/04/s-east-s-south-regions-call-for-nigerias-restructuring/ |

Yusuf Monsurat (23), a student of D.S. Adegbenro Polytechnic, Itori, Ogun State pictured above has been arrested by the Ogun state Police command for stabbing her colleague, Eric Moses, to death in their school hostel following an argument on March 17th. According to Tribune, Monsurat who claims not to know how the incident happened, was a close friend of the deceased until she began to suspect him of being a cult member. This made her withdraw from him and even withdrew more after Eric confessed to her that he was indeed a cult member. Monsurat says she had a dream on the day of the incident and in the dream, she saw Moses and herself engaged in a quarrel, and Moses slapped her in the dream. She said as soon as she woke up, she approached one of her friends who she narrated her dream to. As she was narrating her story, she said Moses overheard, approached her and picked a quarrel with her. An argument ensued and before she knew it, Moses began beating her. She claims Moses then picked up a knife to stab her but she defended herself and the knife pierced his neck, leading to his death. "I am from Kwara State. I am in my second year studying Business Administration. I can’t really remember what happened. Only God knows. He was my hostel mate. Sincerely, speaking, I can’t really remember anything. God knows. I have not been feeling fine. It is just like a dream. We had a normal argument that could come up between students that day. I sat in front of my room when he came. All I remember was that he wanted to stab me with a knife. We started struggling with the knife and in the process of defending myself, the knife pierced his chest. He later fell. I don’t know what came over him that made him take a knife to want to stab me.”she said Ogun state Police command spokesperson, Olumuyiwa Adejobi confirmed the incident and said she will be charged to court soon. www.lindaikeji..com/2015/04/23-year-old-female-arrested-for.html#more

nyabinghi:Shatappp there! Those killings by hitler and USA was a political killing. It got nothing to do with religious. We are talking about killing pple bcus they don't believe in islam |
nyabinghi:Mumu.. We talking about killing of innocent pple going on around the world in the name of Islam, and here u are talking about homosexuality, drug trafficking and rape committed by pple which got nothing to do with religion. 80% of committed muslims in the world have terrorist/suicide bomber instinct embedded within them waiting to be triggered. |
Arogba:Muslims are in minority in Edo . Muslims become a problem when they are in majority, that when the killing and beheading starts. As a christian , I can't live where there are muslims in majority because oneday they will want to force the christians to convert to muslim or be killed . That's wat happening in the northern Nigeria May God help Nigeria. |
Muslim is a violent religion... Islam = beheading, stoning, bombing, shooting... Zambia is one country in africa that live peacefully without news of violence and killings , why? Because they are 95% christians and 5% muslim . Had it been the muslim are the one who are 95% , they would have tried severally to force the 5% christians to covert to muslim or face death. 70% of muslims in the world have terrorist instinct |
A newly employed maid in Kenya identified as Grace Mwikali Mwema has been arrested by the Kenyan police after she was caught on camera breastfeeding her boss's 9months old baby. In the video which was aired on Kenya's Nairobi news, the nanny, who is a mother of a three month old child, is seen offering her breasts to the baby who sucked for a few seconds and then refused to continue. Seeing that the child was no longer cooperating, the house help dropped the child to play. The child's mum had installed a nanny camera in her home to monitor the maid she'd employed just two days before the incident. She said when the nanny was confronted, she first claimed that the baby was the one playing with her breast but later admitted when she was told she'd been filmed doing the unnatural act. The woman called the police who arrested the maid and later posted the video to her Facebook page. www.youtube.com/watch?v=L5P3IdJE6p8

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has denied that its presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari, promised to bring the naira at par with the dollar if voted into power come March, 28, 2015. APC also promised to implement the recommendations of the Presidential Committee on the Restructuring and Rationalisation of Federal Government Parastatals, Commissions and Agencies to merge or scrap some agencies and parastatals. Speaking on Tuesday, Director, Policies and Strategy of the APC campaign group, Bolaji Abdullahi, made the clarification on Tuesday at the Nigeria Political Parties Discussion Series (NPPDS) organised by the Centre for Democracy and Development (CDD) in Abuja, with the theme; ‘Manifesto Hour: Political Parties and the Citizenry’. According to him, what Buhari said was that the current exchange rate of the naira to the dollar was unacceptable. “Buhari never said, ‘I will bring naira at par with the dollars’, he said the current exchange rate was unacceptable. “We are going to restructure the way we educate our youths. We cannot continue to educate our youths in the way of the 1960s,” he stated. He also faulted the current educational system, which gives preference to university education, saying his party would restructure the system such that every youth would be employable after graduation. While promising to also give the issues of people living with disabilities adequate focus, he disclosed that a social security programme has been planned in which the most vulnerable in the society would be given N5, 000 per month Earlier, APC Publicity Secretary, Lai Mohammed, said his party’s manifesto centres on job creation, corruption and security. www.dailypost.ng/2015/03/26/buhari-never-promised-apc-to-make-naira-equal-to-dollar-apc/

FastShipping:You lack brain.. OLODO |
APC has succeeded in dividing Nigeria into two- South/East vs North/west . And they have also divide the peaceful co-existence of lagos into Yorubas v Igbos . This isn't good for Nigeria progress... This will only trigger most tribal crisis in future. The unity of Nigeria is finally coming to an END. Thanks to APC |
