A Bishop of the Armed Forces and Chaplaincy for the Special Jurisdiction of the Armed Forces and Chaplaincy of Anglican Church in North America ( ACNA) identified as Bishop Derek Jones has vandalised an Igbo Anglican Churc Church Irvington in New Jersey, USA.


In a video obtained by IGBERE TV, the Bishop was seen spitting on one of our church elder’s face who happens to be a blackman and destroying property of the Church.

Speaking with one of the church members who doesn't want her name in print says this is most degrading way for a so-called bishop to treat a fellow human being.


According to her, "we are tired of being treated like slaves in the land of the free. This so called bishop of ACNA has no respect for the black community nor settling the dispute between our members but just to divide us and hijack our property. Archbishop Foley Beach should call his bishops of ACNA to stay away from IGBO ANGLICAN CHURCH IRVINGTON NEW JERSEY."


IGBERE TV recalls that in 2022 Members of the Igbo Anglican Church New Jersey, United States publicly rejected another Bishop identified as Bishop Kenneth Ross, whom they say was sent from Colorado to hijack their church.

In the video, which appeared online, a member of the entourage of the Bishop was seen receiving heavy shoving by members and tripping in some instances as members boo the Bishop, telling him that he is not wanted in the church.

In his determination to ensure that every segment of society is sufficiently catered to within the ambit of the Renewed Hope Agenda of his administration, President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Igbere TV "2023 Inspirational Leader Of The Year", Mr. Mohammed Abba Isa to serve as the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Disability Matters.


This was made known by Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media & Publicity on Thursday.

Mr Abba was recently massively voted by Nigerians as '2023 Inspirational Leader of the Year (PWD)' in Leadership Excellence Awards.

The award will be presented to him on Saturday at the Congress Hall Transcorp Hilton Abuja During the 2023 IgbereTV Leadership Excellence Awards.

Mr. Abba Isa is a distinguished champion of persons with disabilities with over a decade of experience in local and international advocacy on matters concerning persons with disabilities.

The new presidential aide is a graduate of Public Administration with honours from the University of Maiduguri where he would go on to earn a Masters in Public Administration at the same institution in 2017.

The President tasks the new appointee to proactively create avenues of opportunity for inclusion through the inculcation of PWD requirements and perspectives in the policies and programmes of all Ministries, Departments, and Agencies of the Federal Government while working closely with sub-national authorities to build a national consensus on PWD-friendly policy and environmental conditions in collaboration with the National Commission for Persons with Disabilities (NCPWD).

Human rights activist and author, comrade Paul Njoku, has described the attack on the chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Mr Joe Ajaero in Imo State, as an act of terrorism.

Mr Paul said this in a terse statement he made available to IGBERE TV.

According to Paul, the recklessness action of governor Uzodinma has left the entire state in darkness, frustration and panic.

He wondered if Uzodinma’s administration must kill, maim, attack and intimidate to prove they are in power.

The statement reads, “Beating up Comr. Joe Ajaero, the labour leader is an act of terrorism and overzealousness. Those hopeless appointees of the Imo State governor who are skillful in bringing hardship to the clueless 3R government of the state are happy now.

“Look out how their recklessness has left the whole state in darkness, frustration, panic and insecurity.

“Must they kill, maim, attack and intimidate to prove they are in power?”

Recall that the NLC chairman was allegedly abducted and brutalized by suspected security operatives during the organised labour protest in Imo State last week Wednesday.

Ajaero was whisked away and later appeared with injuries on his face, revealing that he was beaten.

Though, Imo State Police command denied masterminding his abduction.

According to him, the ranking is done according to various indices which includes, but not limited to;

- ‘States that have been able to significantly grow their internally generated revenue year-on-year and are progressively reducing their over-reliance on federal transfers.’

- ‘States that have comparatively more public revenue left to implement the capital expenditure components of their budgets after fulfilling repayment obligations to lenders and their government's operating expenses.’

We all know the state.

The police in Ogun state have arrested a pastor with the Christ Liberty Evangelism Church, Rosco, Iyana Iyesi, Ota, Oyenekan Oluwaseyi, and three others for being in possession of a human skull.

Punch reports that Oluwaseyi and the three others identified as 30-year-old Ibrahim Agbowewe, 40-year-old Suleiman Ogunbunmi, and 57-year-old Gafari Akinsanya, were arrested by men of the state police command in the early hours of Saturday, October 14. When apprehended, the suspects claimed they intended to use the skull for money rituals.

The suspects were arrested following a tip-off from members of the public about the suspects’ suspicious movement and activities in the area. One big calabash, one black Toyota Camry car and one ram were found with the suspects.

Confirming the arrest, the spokesperson of the state police command, SP Omolola Odutola, said four suspects had confessed to the crime.

“We arrested the four of them. They have since confessed that they wanted to use the head for blessings and money rituals. The investigations are ongoing to unravel more details about the incident,” Odutola said

Ebonyi Govt. Wins 500 Million Naira For Best Performing South East State In Primary Health Care

Ebonyi State Government has won a cash price of N500m for the best performing South East State in the Primary Health Care Leadership Challenge funded by UNICEF.


This was was made known to our correspondent by Mr. Leo Oketa, Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to Governor Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State.

According to him, "Having won the price for the best perfoming South East State in the Primary Health Care Leadership Challenge, Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru is not resting on his laurels."

"He is calling on all the Stakeholders in the State to join their various Local Government Areas in flagging off of the State’s routine immunization exercise on Thursday, October 19, 2023 for children between 9-19 months old. The State flag off exercise will be done at Mother and Child Health Centre (MCH), Azuiyokwu on the same day."

"Kudos to the hard working Commissioner for Health Ebonyi State, Dr. Moses Ekuma, the Special Assistant to the Governor on Primary Health, Dr. Sabinus Nwibo and the performing Executive Secretary, Ebonyi State Primary Health Care Development Agency, Dr. Philip Ovuoba."

"More can be done and Governor #FON is delivering on the needs of Ebonyi people."
