Politics / Akwa Ibom: State Where Commissioners, Others, Kneel For Akpabio’s Wife- Punch by Wisdytech(m): 3:15pm On Apr 08, 2015

Kneeling, bowing or prostrating for the wife of Akwa Ibom State governor, Mrs. Unoma Akpabio, is a common feature in Akwa Ibom State.

Those who do not tow this line are often considered to be anti-Akpabio’s administration.

A member in the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, representing Mbo State Constituency, Mrs. Alice Ekpenyong, knelt before the governor’s wife at the Independent National Electoral Commission office, where they were being presented with the certificates of return in 2011.

Similarly, many of the commissioners in the state cannot stand before Mrs. Akpabio to talk; they must either face a different direction or stoop low before her.

Recently, the Commissioner of Works, Mr. Don Etim, was found kneeling to talk to her during one of the Peoples Democratic Party campaign rallies in the state.

Etim is the Dean, College of Commissioners in the state. He is one of the longest serving commissioners in Akpabio’s administration.

Also a Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Welfare, Dr. Glory Edet, was recently seen fanning her during the presentation of the 2015 Appropriation Bill to the House of Assembly.

A strong PDP member, Mr. Silvernus Okon, stated that the governor’s wife had no regards for anybody.

He added that even if Etim had wanted to kneel before her, she should have cautioned the man against doing so.

“It is unbelievable that Don Etim, who is old enough to be her father, could descend so low to kneel before her.

“This tells you the type of people that we have in the state. Even if Etim had wanted to kneel for her, we expected her to have stopped him and cautioned him against doing so in future,” he said.

All attempts to get Etim to react to why he knelt before the governor’s wife failed as calls to his mobile telephone set indicated that it had been switched off.

A text message was also sent to him, which he did not respond to.

Politics / May 29th: Signs Corruption May End In Nigeria by Wisdytech(m): 12:34pm On Apr 08, 2015
By Eyo Nse,

As Nigeria President Elect, Gen. Buhari awaits his swearing in into office on May 29th 2015, some strange happening in the country has been recorded so far. Some are good signs and some are fearfull signs that a disciplinarian is on seat.

Please, Kindly double check this for me:

The fear of Buhari is the beginning of Nigerian system’s sanitation.

1. Nigeria army finds Buhari’s certificate.

2. Missing $20b found with Zenith bank.

3. NTA adressing Gen. M. Buhari as a masters degree holder.

4. Dezieni visits Abdulsalami.

5. Industrial training funds began payment of outstanding they have been owing students for more than 2yrs.

6. Nigeria stock market recorded a gain of # 906b , biggest gain in 50yrs.

7. Naira made a gain of #27 against the dollar.

8. Numerous filling stations that were padlocked under the pretext of fuel scarcity suddenly opened gates for business.

9. Nigerian corrupt leaders trying to balance up their accounts/records so as to get rid of jail term.

10. In the NNPC sector, Nigeria’s greatest corrupt organization is on a high tension, missing funds will be investigated.

The war on corruption and indiscipline has already started.

WHAT IS YOUR SAY ON THIS?

Dumb mofos, what makes it Secret Service when we now know the names of all its operatives. When credible Nigerians apply for the job, you won't give them, only to end up with clueless agents. Giving up the names of your SSS handles isn't professional.

You had spoken well bro.

But, i tell you that maturity of information expose from the DSS organization is not done by the DSS operatives but by the Journalist.

Is not only in Nigeria this happens, the CIA faces the same problem but it is minimal compare to the Nigerian system of jounalism.

In Isreal, their secret service enjoys secrecy alot, because freedom of speech is limited there.

But, exposing the names of security details In the secret service changes nothing., But, it advances will be, it will send fears to intending predators in that government, especially if the directors are highly rated intelligence officers.

DSS is our friend! Lets pray for them.

Long live our citizens lifes! Long live the federal Republic of Nigeria!!

It does'nt mean man! He is the new Director general on security matters to Gen. Buhari.

You will hardly see him in public, cos he will be busy inside a car in buhari's convoy directing/monitoring an occasion/event or even in his office directing all the security officials of the new president.

Who are you to question/harm the DSS?

Sports / Keshi’s Contract To Be Sealed After Easter Break by Wisdytech(m): 2:01pm On Apr 05, 2015
By Duro Ikhazuagbe,

President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF),
Amaju Pinnick, restated last night that the
decision to hire Stephen Keshi for another term as
Super Eagles head coach remained on track
despite speculations that the deal might be
jettisoned because his backers have lost out in the country’s power game.
The new two-year contract was expected to be
signed between Keshi and the federation shortly
after Nigeria’s international friendly with Uganda
but had to be shelved because chiefs at the Glass
House were out of Abuja for the Presidential Elections in their respective states.
A football-only online website had even gone
ahead to report yesterday that the outcome of the
election which opposition candidate,
Muhammadu Buhari, won was going to be the
major determinant of whether Keshi was going to return to the post.
Most top All Progressives Congress (APC)
members who are followers of events at the Glass
House have never hidden their annoyance with
attempts to bring back Keshi to the Eagles job
after failing to qualify Nigeria for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations hosted by Equatorial Guinea early
this year. They insisted that Keshi should be given
same treatment handed out to Samson Siasia
when he similarly failed in 2011. But sources close to the NFF president confided in
THISDAY last night that Keshi’s contract will be
signed once he agrees to the terms of the
contract.
“There is no truth in the speculations that Keshi’s
contract will no longer be signed because President Goodluck Jonathan lost his bid to return
for a second term. Once Keshi accepts the terms of
his contract, we are going to sign the contract
immediately after the Easter break,” revealed the
top football official last night.
Last Wednesday, Pinnick similarly dismissed speculations that the deal Keshi called ‘Slave
Contract’ was off the table.
Pinnick told reporters in Abuja that Keshi’s
contract has been approved by the NFF board.
“I can confirm that to Nigerians that the board has
approved the contract. All that is left now is for him to sign it. As we speak Keshi has not put pen
to paper,” revealed Pinnick to the reporters
covering the Glass House.
The Big Boss, as Keshi is called, has been in
charge of the Super Eagles since 2011 but despite
winning the AFCON in 2013 calls have been strident for his contract not to be renewed. Many Nigerians want him out due to the poor
results as of late.
Keshi reportedly resigned from his post two times
in the past and at one point he was sacked by the
NFF board only to be reinstated weeks later due
to intervention from top officials in the Jonathan administration.

Just sell it already, but don't sell it 100%. Ask for a royalty like certain percentage on all profits that is going to be generated from the song eventually. Get a lawyer first, 10-25% would be a fair cut.

You prolly don't have a name out there and it will take time for you get accepted in the market or breakeven.
