Bossman! Its not as if ion want to update. If things went my way, i ought to have finish this write up in 2016.
But you should know that I'm stil a student, i have a project at hand and i also have a business I'm running. Sometimes i logout of nairaland cos logging in without dropping an update for you guys makes me feel bad. I do not update most times cos I'm always exhausted after the day work and you all know that ion have no hard copy for this story, i write directly from my small head. Gori watched as ken cried, he wondered why a grown stone-hearted man like Ken would cry.
"They ruined my future!" He said amidst tears.
"How?" Gori was lost and confused.
"They turned my five-year course to fourteen years!and now they want me dead! Men are wicked!" He Cried.
"Ken, what happened?"
"Gori, I finished secondary school at the age of nineteen,got admission at age twenty-five after a lot of struggling. I engaged in some domestic jobs for staffs and students during my first year. I had a girlfriend then who loved me so much, she was a virgin. So she reported the VC who was then a lecturer to me that he was making advances towards her, as a fearless guy, I confronted this man to leave my girlfriend, and that was where the trouble started, he kept pestering my girlfriend and ended up raping her in his office. My girlfriend kept this from me until she got pregnant, she had no one else to talk to so she came to me. I was devasted and sad when I heard the news but I resigned to fate, then I followed her to the VC's office and when we broke news to him, he denied. It was after we threatened him that he accepted to take responsibility, he begged me to cover up for him that he would take responsibility but I would father the child. I accepted since I love my girlfriend. I went to meet her parents and claimed responsible for the pregnancy I knew nothing about, they rained abuses on me for ruining their daughter's life. I bore the insults and i knew that day they hated me so much.
My girlfriend came crying one day that the VC and a friend of his had raped her again, I was angry,scolded her but she claimed she was drugged and promised to see him the following morning, we went to his office and met his friend too. I confronted them and promised to expose them, they both apologized and promised such would never happened again, we came up with a plan that my girlfriend should not go and see him alone anymore, they both agreed and offered me an alcoholic drink and my girlfriend a fruit juice. It was late when we to this room, yes!this is the room I've been using for the past fourteen years. My girlfriend claimed she was too weak to go home that night so she slept in this room. When I woke up the following morning, I met her in a pool of her own blood. I raised an alarm and she was rushed to the clinic where she gave up the ghost. I was detained and later remanded in kirikiri. I impregnated her, drugged her and kept her in my hostel was the rumors they spread. I spent two years before I was released. I did not go home or comeback here immediately, I went to a powerful old man where I got initiated, I killed seven pregnant women to become powerful. I was bent on killing these two men who killed my love, I terrorised them and their house but they are both powerful. He said and started reciting some incantations, he drank the water, he vomited a small coffin-like small box and gave it to Gori.
"Take this to the old man" he said as he handed box to Gori. He took a knife and before Gori could stop him, it had pierced through his heart.
Gori watched in horror as Ken groaned in pains.
"Revenge or my blood will be upon you!" Hot tears fell from Ken's eyes, Gori was in tears too. It was a gory sight to behold.
"I ... am sorry.... for everything" Ken said and took his last breathe.

Bro, thanks.... To tell you the truth... It ain't easy typing... But I still try to update twice each day... I'm typing offhand, so whatever and whenever the inspiration comes, I type.... More so, NEPA don draw timetable for electricity in my village o... I do go miles to charge in order to update sometimes.... But I promise you three updates today Dearie's....

The tap on my door woke me up,as soon as i opened my eyes,I noticed that the sun was shinning brightly already,time checked 9:00am . I heard My mom's voice from my door step saying 'Nancy wakeup,open up baby,its your day!'. What the heck is she talking about? My day Am I getting married or something??. I was thinking semi-awake,then she shouted from my door step again "its your birthday baby!! Your birthday!!! now open up". My eyes widened immediately as if it would come out of its socket, OMG 'its my birthday!!' I hurriedly threw the duvet away from myself,rushed to the door and unlocked.
There she was,full of smile,with two househelp,one carrying a shopping bag and the other a beautiful cake decorated with pink and blue colour. The cake has a teddy bear shape with "sweet sixteen" boldly written on it. This woman knew how to take my breath away,she was my world,the one and only MRS.Williams. With all smile,i bent down to greet my mom,she carried me up half way and engulved me in a tight embrace. Saying prayers and wishing me a happy birthday in the middle of the mother/daughter embrace. I kept on saying 'amen' till she released me and looked into my eyes and say " how i wish he is here today" by that i already knew she was refering to my dad, she continued " he was always making plans for your sixteenth birthday". She was already in tears, i hugged her as tight as i could and made her know that he is in a better place and she was my world and my everything. Even though i was trying to be strong i could not help but remember the sweet memories of my dad,who would'nt remember a lovly father?.
My dad, "Chief Abiodun Williams". He was a yoruba man while my mom was an Edo woman, he named me 'Omojadesola' specially while my mom named me 'Nancy', Dad was tall with athletic body structure. He goes on bussiness trip regularly and never fail to get me things whlie coming back. Once in a blue moon we discuss,and it always worth the wait, his favourite statement i could never forget was "only friends can betray you,try to keep your secret safe".
Dad died in the month of December,few weeks to Xmas,he went for a bussiness trip outside the country and he never came back. His plane crashed,we did not even get to see his lifeless body to say a final good bye. We mourned dad for more than a year, i was sure mom would mourn him till eternity. It was after my father's death that i got to know that the whole of the Williams wealth belonged to mom,she inherited d wealth from my maternal grand parent who were stinkingly wealthy, due to the fact that her younger brother was unserious. "Dad whereever you are, my last wish would have been for you to die in my hands,no matter how tiny they were. RIP dad."

I released myself from my mom's embrace and cleaned the tears in her eyes. Mom smiled and led me to my bed, and said "sorry for trying to ruin ur day with my emotion, i just cannot believe my baby is sixteen". I smiled and hugged her, now she released herself and teased me to stop behaving like a baby, according to her, i would get married soon and become a woman. We all laughed at mom's statement, including the maids.
Mom treated them like her daughter which made them have a good relationship with her.
Tori and Sewa are both secondary school graduates just like i was, but they were way older than me probably because of their late education.
Mom told tori to place the cake on the table and light the candle. I walked to the table and made a wish before blowing off the candle. My yearly wish was what i repeated " I wish all my wishes will come true" and we all laughed.
I cut a piece from the huge cake,fed my mom with some and ate the reamaining. Oh i love cakes!............
