Each individual in the PR application has a visa and COPR. They do not have to travel together as a family but PA must land first.

The others (including spouse) can land later at their convenience but before the expiry date on their visa and COPR.

Once PA lands the application cannot be reopened as I understand it. I think they will have to sponsor any family members that do not land before COPR expiry. Haven said that, immigration wise, sometimes Canada can be very compassionate when it come to family issues so there may be a deviation for their specific circumstance.

I would advise PA to land immediately and spouse to follow....but land before COPR expiry.

I was in your shoes and added my babies in May 2020 after PPR had been issued. My sister we are still waiting for another PPR to be issued. this is almost 2 years, not even a re-medical request has been sent.

My suggestion will be for you to get your passport stamped as soon as possible,
if you can make it to Canada before delivery that would be great. (it wont be easy sha considering your state but i am sure it will be worth the stress so you can just have your baby in Canada).

if you cant get your passport stamped before delivery, you can have your baby in Nigeria. when you are stronger and much settled look for a way to finally land with your baby probably by getting a visitors visa then file for your baby's PR after landing in Canada.

That adding a new baby to your profile now is a complete no no for me except of course you don't mind the long wait before another PPR is reissued.

my 2 cent.

shocked shocked shocked

This is so unfair, I'm guessing your VO is the dreaded Accra.

Hello Everyone,

If a couple gets PPR, and for any reason, only the PA is able to travel before medical validity expires, where does this leave the dependent?
Do they need to be issued another PPR?

No need. It's not a crime to work while schooling, the years can overlap.

Alright, thanks

Please, i did my masters while i was working, and it looks messy when filling the personal history section.

Do i need to include LOE for this, since the years overlap each other?

Please, concerning pay stubs for previous places I've worked, how do i go about it if i don't have any?

I have reference letters, employment letters, resignation letters, and some other evidence of work correspondence.

Will these be sufficient? or do i need to upload statements of my accounts from way back then showing the salary i was paid?

Hello, please can someone enter the pool with 6.0 in reading?

For PNP, i think so, but for express entry, you should aim for 7.0 - 9.0.

The best time to add her is post AOR, it means your wedding have to be post AOR. Then she will only do medicals, PCC and you will have to increase your POF to family of 2.

Take note: your wedding cannot be pre-AOR and you inform IRCC post AOR that will be misrepresentation.

Ok, thanks.

Gurus in the house, please i have a question.

I have a girlfriend i intend to get married to within this year, presently i'm in the pool with a score of 478, i tried to re-calculate my score as "married" and i got a score of 451, considering that she hasn't done ECA or IELTS.

My question is this, when is the best time to add her to my application? We don't want to go through the stress of ECA and IELTS for her.
Considering the score factor, can i safely add her Post AOR or Post PPR?

Thanks.

Did you send them an evidence of payment via email together with a scanned copy of your passport's biodata page.

I didn't send a scanned copy of the passport via email, they didn't specify that i should send that. But i sent evidence of payment and reference number.

Sorry about your experience. I recently registered for the test with BC and paid online too using Zenith. They however responded acknowledging receipt of my payment. Same situation, different outcome, I wonder why. Keep sending them emails until it is rectified.

Thanks!

Don't try to reverse nothing.

Did the transfer go through? If it did, you were supposed to put a call across to them to confirm receipt of your payment.

It happened to me and those BC guys cancelled my test because they claimed my payment had not been successful. All efforts aimed at reinstating my test date was abortive so they offered to include me in the next test date after confirming my payment.

They would eventually slate you for the next one. However, these guys are just professionals during the organization of the test yet offers nothing in Customer Service. I was really appalled at their poor CS which is a sharp contrast of the customer centric organization I work for. They would promise to call you back to no avail. You get to spend an average of 15 minutes on hold trying to speak with them, once it is 2.59pm, no one takes the call. Try to call in the morning and send emails too.

Best of luck.

Thanks,

The transfer actually went through, and i sent them a mail showing screenshots of the successful transaction. I will follow up with them, thanks alot.

Hello guys,

Please I registered for IELTS on Thursday last week, I made payment at Zenith Bank via bank transfer option. The officials said I could make payment through my mobile app, which I did.

Now the issue is that I just got an email saying my booking has been cancelled because they haven't received my payment.

Please has anyone experienced this? how can I go about reversal? And what's the best way to make payment going forward?

you mean the ineffective buffoon was less corrupt? shocked. If not you only, everybody knows theh era of stealing is not corruption is over.

This is the problem with pawns like you, always comparing bad with worse, refusing to see the big picture that for the good of everyone, the country needs to move forward.

Hopefully, one day you will be smart enough to see beyond your myopic mentality of nepotism and tribalism, and understand that as a nation, Nigeria need to be better.

Comparisons won't get us anywhere.

This administration is the most disgusting and most corrupt this country has ever had.
