How many days does authentication take at foreign affairs? What is the procedure?

Does dependent need to go with the main applicant for appointment.

I just saw one slot available for a short stay now. Interested person should book.

Don’t do expect information like they did last month. Always camp on the appointment booking page every day until 31st March

they didn't put any information about it on their website.

there are in Lagos, i went there and those lazy workers wanted to extort me, true be told.... Lagos MOFA don't do authentication ONLY in Abuja... anything outside this info is a big scam...

You people blame agents for everything! before you talk too far now, someone will come under my comment and be asking me nasty questions, am i an agent?
How about the people working inside the system? They are saints? The embassy staffs, the people on the portal.
Alot of you forget that these are the actual ones selling the slots to the highest bidders.

And for a fact, those people inside even take a larger share most of the times. Do not be suprised, out of 250k, agent may only see 50k.
Most agents make alot of monies, when a job is bulky.
How much agent dey see?

It is high time you guys start channeling your anger to the embassy's themselves. They are the reason why you can not get appointment!
Na them dey sell slots give agents and tell them when portal go open.

I was suspecting the embassy too when I heard this discussion with my husband.

It’s quite pathetic. But I think it’s only a matter of time before one gets appointment. Another agent was saying 250k.
Note that this is just to get appointment, doesn’t mean any form of assurance of getting the visa.
Plus, when you get to Portugal, you have to look for a job within six months.

I'm not even going through the job routine.

I was at vfs Abuja yesterday and I saw agents dragging people to come and pay for appointment. 400k for an appointment and it takes one month or so. Corruption has reached everywhere and everything in this country. Let’s just wait for update on the vfs website

You should not have done it till you got the appointment. Have you done your legalization?

Yes, it was on VFS website news published on April 23 that the slots for the month of May will be available for booking on April 30, Folks were online to check around that date and they got slots. Visit VFS Global regularly.

Going by their precedents, the slots for May were booked around April 30th, so towards the end of this month, one can expect them to open the portal to book appointments for next month.

This was what I'm dealing with right now a young lady who has gone through rape, depression etc just because her parents made her the family “scapegoat” for being a girl instead of a boy.

Most person are in toxic relationship because of the gains attached. Either he/she is wealthy or he/she is good in sexual prowess. On the other side, most toxic person were abused at a tender age or watched their parent abuse eachother.

A young lady died because she refused to leave due to monetary gain.

many stay in that toxic r/ship because they believe that their partner can change OR that they can change their partner. so after one partner beats you or cheats on you, he/she will now say they are sorry and wont do it again, and that abused/cheated partner will believe them and stay in that toxic union.... and every time, they do something wrong, they will just say "i am sorry and wont do it again" on and on... by the time you realize, you've been in that toxic union for 20yrs.
