God1blessBiafra:Is something wrong with you Igbos to continue asking this dumb question and ignorant question? Do I have the power to divide Nigeria when even the President does not have such powers due to the absence of a secession clause in our constitution thanks to your greedy and covetous grandfather Azikiwe. Anyway don’t worry. Yorubas are ‘cooking’ the next best thing to outright division which is regional autonomy that won’t need a secession clause. The meal will soon be ready.😎 |
obiekunie01:Yes of course Nigerians focus on Igbos because they are hateful and malevolent towards others so stop crying like a spineless victim. You lot deserve the negative focus on your affairs because your bad and hateful mouth leaves no one in doubt that you hate Nigeria or the “Zoo”, hate your fellow Nigerians and do not wish others well. People aren’t robots. They will always jubilate negative development for their tormentors, i.e Igbos, so stop crying and playing innocent victim. |
At this rate, Nigeria won’t have any armed forces personnel left courtesy of the North, some parts of the Middle Belt and SE. Let Tinubu hurry up with the regional autonomy thing so the SW can have her own State or regional police structure asap. I am personally tired of sharing a nation with savages so regional autonomy must come asap to put a distance between the good, the bad and the ugly. |
BJanta:It's why we alone are called "progressives" and "sophisticated " in Nigeria. 😎 |
idrg:God bless you. An incompetent and anti-people politican, who failed in power and has nothing to show as an elected leader, now attacking a man universally acclaimed one of Nigeria's most successful Governors since 1999 all for the sake of a desperation to see power return to the North in 2027. Yet we know creatures of hate will fall for the Taqiyah in the desperation to see Obi become PDP candidate. They will then consipre against Obi last minute and fck him up so Atiku emerges. Atiku will then lose woefully against Tinubu. So predictable. |
Blaze14k:Say what you will. See if what I have stated will not happen to Obi in 2027 if he joins PDP wirh the misguided opinion he can be the Presidential candidate of the Pafty. Same predictable Taqiyah the Fulanis pulled in 2022 to chase Obi out and then defeat Wike at the Primaries through a desperate conspiracy where the likes of Tambuwal dropped out of the race last minute to donate their votes to Atiku leaving Wike blindsided and stunned. Shwbi na mi no wanf progress for Nigeria and not 'born to rule' Fulanis like Sule Lamido abi? Watch and see. |
emmyluizzz:Lol. Another clannish and ignorant 'messiah worshipper' who knowa nothing about who Sule Lamido is. He was one of those who killed Obi's chances of running in 2023 under PDP. This is someone who clearly does not believe in Igbo man "ruling". He is not speaking as a believer in Obi's capacity. He is merely a Fulani supremacists who wants power to return to the North asap. You're a perfect example of why Igbo's will always be easy targets of Taqiyah from even ethnic groups consisting only a thousand people. Your ego, you're obsessed with others stroking, and hatred for your fellow Nigerians is something many will always exploit to get their way. |
@OP. You Igbos are really amusing as a people always solely guided, above everything else, by hate for others. Do you even know who this Lamido is in the history of Nigerian politics to now be quoting and famzing him because he is attacking Tinubu? Most ethnic groups of Nigeria are principled and steadfast. A devil yesterday remains a devil to them today and tomorrow. Not so you Igbos who will even praise devils who have harmed you yesterday to declare them God today merely because they atfack your latest object of hate. I.e Tinubu. Maybe some of us who are better educated and informed than you should remind you Sule Lamido is an unrepentant and avowed Northern ethnic supremacists who justified the rejection of 2022 power shift to the South in PDP that made your precious Obi flee the Party while Wike stood and fought. Lamido , your current hero, arrogantly and insensitively declared that clamour for power shift to the South is the problem of APC and not PDP. Little known to you hateful and ignorant illiterate is the fact Obi knew of the plot of Lamido, Tambuwal etal to arrogantly and insensitively give Atiku the ticket, so Fulani continues in power after 8 years of Buhari, hence the reason he fled. Wike was aware of it too and stood to fight like a man and a warrior. Even though he lost, and unlike cowardly Obi, the sheer and 'born to rule' arrogance of the Fulanis made Wike to work for Tinubu and be loyal to him today. Any smart Nigerian would have read meaning into Wike's parting words , after he lost the PDP primaries, of "I cannot be a second class citizen in my own nation". Obi meanwhile kept licking the asses of the Fulanis who chased him out of the PDP to include Sule Lamido now doing 'Taqiyah' on you hateful and naive Igbos just because the "born to rule" lot, who hate being without power for even second, hate the equitable and merit-driven direction Tinubu is taking Nigeria in. You Igbos , because of hateful hearts, will always be the Judases of Nigeria. That is why Tinubu, who has always meant well for Igbos and supported them, is now your enemy while a Northern supremacist, who did not deem Obi or any Southerner fit to rule through the PDP, is your hero today. Lamido is using you gullible haters to cause disaffection for Tinubu and keep you naive ignoramuses believing Obi has a chance to be PDP candidate in 2027. Bafarawa, another Taqiyah king, announced the other day that "Nigerians will choose PDP candidate between Obi and Atiku for 2027" knowing dully well it is all about getting Atkku and Fulanis in power. Same Taqiyah they did to Obi in 2022 to then break his balls last minute and drive him away to labour. Mark my words and see if Obi, assuming he falls for their Taqiyah, is not fcked up in 2026 as he was in 2022. You hateful Igbos, because of hate for Tinubu and Yorubas, are not even ashamed Fulani continue to play you, for their own power grab agenda, by taking advantage of your hateful disposition. You lot are incorrigible haters beyond redemption. Watch what the Yorubas are doing, while you and the desperate North continue to play toxic politics toward 2027 takeover, to know you will cry again in 2027. Permanently this time because Yorubas, once we get what we want, will dash you and Fulanis the impotent Presidency to rotate forever between you.

100millionGoal:Hateful, violent, egotistic, incorrigible and emptily pugnacious chap, go and get a job and a life. |
SpecialAdviser:Long and short of it is that you Igbos are violent and innately lawless elements who believe the laws of a land you live in should not apply to you. If not you will know secession is outlawed by our constitution, thanks to your greedy and covetous grandfathers Azikiwe , before you dragged Nigeria into a needless civil war with your illegal and lawless declaration of Biafra. You people are incorrigibly lawless, self-serving and violence-prone. |
johnjose68:Lol. Exactly. The hateful, violent, egotistic, incorrigible and emptily pugnacious chap did not even get the essence what I wrote before he went on to prove me correct. |
100millionGoal:Dull dude. Is the ethno-suprememacist pontificating of Kanu and Ekpa today not identical to that of Azikiwe, Charles Onyeama etal many decades ago? For incorrigible Igbos it is "same as it ever was". Not one single bit of progressive evolution from seven decades ago and surely same will obtain with you lot seven decades after today. You're too pedestrian and dull to keep up with a smart 6 year old let alone moi. Scram dullard. |
hafeeanubasy:Restructure ke? What was Aguyi Ironsi's first action as head of State if not the deliverance of the unification decree. What of how Azikiwe, instead of facing the affairs of ala Igbo, was perpetually obsessed with machinations to allow him and his Igbo kinsmen rule over Yorubas in their own land? These are a very covetous, megalomaniac, materialistc, usurpation-obsessed and land-grabbing people. They have been cursed with having the most barren and most unproductive region of Nigeria also they are always fleeing in thousands daily. If you then put them in charge of Nigeria what do you think will happen if not sinister hijacking of the nation for Igbo personal profit as history, time and time again, has shown us they are about? Why do you think, despite Sanwo Olu being one of the best governors in Nigeria by far, all Igbos were obsessed with Chinedu becoming Governor of the Lagos that is the land they most covet more than all else on God's earth? I fear anyone who does not fear Igbos. |
BreconHills:Precisely. That they all praise Kanu a messiah is eerily reminiscent of how the Germans fell under the evil spell of Hitler. Difference is that Germans proved they were only temporarily under the spell of evil with the nation they have gone on to build after the second world war and the fact they are very war-averse and ultra peaceful today. Igbos, on the other hand, confirm they are unchanged over decades and will be same tomorrow with their historical bloodlust behaviour from the "Igbo coup" through causing a mindless civil war and the antics of so many many hate-mongers and ethno-religious supremacy preachers today from Kanu, to Ekpa and literally thousands of others. |
100millionGoal:Lol check out this dullard. What confidence are you talking about mate? It is the stunning history of serial, foolhardy and painful failure of Igbos educating the world about you people and not me. The records are there bro. Start from your covetous and usurpation-obsessed Azikiwe frustrating the inclusion of a seccession clause in our constitution as Awolowo had demanded. Then move on to the lunacy of the "Igbo coup" that set Nigeria up for the failure it is saddled with today. Go through many other failures, occasioned by the myopic lunacy of your people, and end with the self-destruction of the SE going on today because most Igbos chose to follow violent and murderous hate preachers. Is that enough factual and verified education for you? |
gigabyte13:Na there ways na. Instead of admitting their own Nzogbu Nzogbu and violent approach never bears fruit, to learn from the sophisticated and critical-thinking Yorubas, they lash out against us with envious and hateful insults 24/7 and from time immemorial Akin to the behaviour of a bitchy , hateful and jealous woman obsessed with attacking and harrassing a more attractive and charismatic woman. As if Yorubas even have their time or any interest in them. They are just sad and pathetic. |
100millionGoal:Lo. What can the Yorubas teach incorrigible creatures completely incapable of learning and evolving? Did you not send millions of your people to their premature death with the misguided civil war you caused? Are you still not doing same today six decades later? Abeg remind me what Einstein says insanity is again and you will have your answer why Yorubas, and not even God, can teach the Igbo man anything.
|
100millionGoal:Ignoramus calling others names. Please who is the clown if not all Igbo men who supported a UK former yahoo boy and drop-out, who literally turned up from nowhere, to become the messiah of all Igbos universally and then visit death, destruction and economic stagnation/regression on ala Igbo? That is how easy for any hate-monger at all to comandeer and pervert the voices and actions of all Igbos entrenching it in lunacy, violence, death, chaos and anarchy. Something riff-raff, like Kanu, Ekpa etal will never even reach ankle level trying in Yoruba land and Yoruba society. Yorubas are not your mates. They are gazillion miles ahead of you lot as a sophisticated, progressive, peaceful and result-driven people. Learn from them instead of always trying to beef, insult and compare d1cks with them. Joker. |
100millionGoal:Gibberish from a small-minded ignoramus. Have you lot not lost enough, over decades and even as we are speaking now, to have learnt some important lessons? The Igbo man is simply an egotistically incorrigible creature destined to stumble from one disaster to another. Yorubas will keep winning, to your shame and frustration, because we are sane and our approach to all facets of life, be it politics to religious tolerance and harmony, is very different to yours. |
SpecialAdviser:Stop praising that common thug and hate monger while lampooning others as "cowards" because they do not emply the violently futile and failure-bound approach you lot have always deployed. Nothing that Kanu or any of your other seccessionist rabble rousers have stated the Yorubas, SS, Middle Belt etal do not know. Just that others, especially the Yoruba, are pragmatic and circumspect in thinking and dealing. They are not willing to throw the baby out with the bath water as reckless and violent Igbos are prepared to do. You lot, through your thuggish exponents of Kanu, Ekpa etal, shouted violent secession and made Nzogbu Nzohbu noise up and down, without even a single written articulation of the structure and vision of Biafra. Whereas the Yoruba, lawful and sane folks, chose regional integration and autonomy that did not offend the law of Nigeria and did not run the risk of unleashing another civil war or Rwanda-style genocidal massacre. This was accompanied by a well-articulate, expansive and detailed document delivered by the 2013 DAWN initiative. This document precisely explained what SW regional integration would entail with well-defined theories about comprehensive transport, agriculture, industrialisation, trade, economic growth etc etc. It therefore amuses me when you lot shout about Kanu, Ekpa etal, thugs you should shun and reject if a smart and balanced people, praising them with messianic tags when they are nothing but ignorant, bloodthirsty and myopic savages leading you towards another violent confrontation with Nigeria. That you are hijacking the topic to be talking of Kanu, in this thread showing the sophisticated approach of Yorubas towards self-rule, just shows you Igbos as myopic attention-seekers who will never learn and therefore never make progress. You will always stumble from one disaster to another perfectly captured by how you myopically sent many of your kinsmen to their death in a needless civil war and are today destroying your own land, decades after that war, in a stunning and amusing show of how Igbo man can never learn and evolve because of his hateful, violent, egotistic, incorrigible and emptily pugnacious nature. |
mbahdi:You like mischief, sadism and negativity but you no sabi book. Oga, na good riddance not "radiance". Olodo. Anyone that can hate on Sanwo Olu can only be a relative of Kanu, Ekpa or Chinasa Michael. |
ruffhandu:You are correct it should be available to all but that cannot be right now with a power sector so poor and archaic, it is the equivalent of what some developed nations had over a century ago. The guy you responded to is 100% correct. Without redundant back and forth about how we got here, the reality is that State and Federal government do not have even 10% of the money required to fund the 24/7 power Nigerians hanker for. As he correctly stated also, the private sector will avoid investment in the power sector of a nation that can never be profitable for them because Nigerians and their entitlement mentality, coupled with their romance with generational poverty they love sleeping with, feel they should pay 1k naira a month ( less than 1 dollar) for 24/7 electricity. For decades now we have been been "signing" deals with Siemens etal and 24/7 power supply is "near" yet have those world class companies, with profit being their God, ever landed on ground to begin working towards our illusionary 24/7 power? They stay away because of the simple fact that power supply is very expensive, from generation through transmission and then distribution. To them this means Nigeria, where we dont want to pay the actual cost of 24/7 power because Government has saddled us with poverty mentality due to subsidising every aspect of our lives, is a bad market for them. How I wish some of you can see we have really boxed ourselves into a terrible corner with poverty-elongating subsidization of every aspect of Nigerian life, over many decades now, when we should have just let free market competition and greater private sector intervention develop our critical sectors (power supply, education, fuel supply etal) as it did for the richest and most developed nations of the world today. |
ruffhandu:Bro, I don't want to argue with you and others too much. I will let the detailed submission of power sector expert inform you of what I am saying about tariffs and how they must increase considerably with the attendant positive contribution of removal of electricity subsidy. If you won't listen to me then consider the logic of the submission of experts dispassionately and objectly. Below is an excerpt from an article submitted by a power sector export. Long read but progressive Nairaland should try and read from start to finish so they pick up a few useful info they were not aware of which can show they were previously misinformed simplistically insisting a cessation of corruption will mean 24/7 electricity. It will help, by making more money available to invest in the power sector, but it wont deliver stable power for Nigeria that needs many times what politicians are stealing to move us close to 24/7 electricity. https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/407308-why-nigerias-electricity-supply-remains-poor-despite-privatisation-ceo-century-power.html?tztc=1 How to best protect Nigerians to get power. |
maasoap:Bro reason it. They are signing their own persecution and death warrants if that is their intention. With every State setting their own tariffs, after subsidy removal, there will be no excuse for States who have set tariff regime, that we believe is predicted on solid feasibility studies, only for them to fail to improve power supply significantly. To me heavily subsidising power means Nigerians can forget 24/7 power until some miracle makes our nation auddenly and stupendously rich. Subsidy on power must go. No doubt about that. The only issue is that it should not be too punitive on Nigerians. Subsidy should be reduced gradually and tapered downwards , as power supply improves, till it is zero at the point majority of Nigerians are enjoying 24/7 power. |
ruffhandu:That is not true and this is a mistake, ignorant of our reality, some of you keep making. Without belabouring the consideration of how we got here, the reality is that power supply is very expensive and Nigeria can simply not afford 24/7 power supply for every Nigerian even if our national income tripled. This is because decades of under-investments in the power sector has now left Nigeria with a moribund, highly inadequate and archaic power sector. One key solution is to increase tariffs and reinvest profit made in enhancing power generation, transmission and distribution till we can scale up enough to reach 24/7 supply eventually. Because we alll have different power needs and pockets, it is only fair and logical to have higher tariffs for those willing to pay more for more hours of power per day since it is impossible to give all Nigerians 24/7 power supply as many ignorantly believe. If we do this Judiciously for 5 to 8 years, and Nigeria's economy continues to improve meaning more money to invest in power supply, we will eventually move towards 24/7 power supply for everyone and one uniform tariffs for all Nigerians for residentials users while businesses will always have to pay more per their far heavier use and the reality they use government-supllied electricity for profit-generation.. |
happney65:God bless you. Majority of them are just sadists who want Nigeria to fail and must therefore badmouth every posivtive development for our nation. There are contributory ways to criticise positive development so they qork even more productively and efficiently. The car, mobil phones, TV and may other sophisticated utility tools of man today were fairly crude things at inception yet had to be improved by positive and progressive thinkers to be what they are today. Inagine if the sadist of of the past, the equivalent of Nigerian sadists and enemies of progress today, write off many of what we enjoy using today by insisting they were worthless? The irony is that what we all asked foe befoee some are now doing there best to find fault with and be negative about showing that a lot of Nigerians are just wicked, evil and damaged goods. The power sector is now fully deregulated. We have asked Governors to be given more autonomy for decades now so they can take charge more and devise unique power solutions for their respective States. That prayer has come to pass and the moment has arrived with Governors now defiantly accepting the challenge. The demand of Governors for independence for setting their own tariffs very good as no Governor will have anywhere to hide. I believe the next 2 years will be spectacularly positive for Nigeria. It is left to optimistic and well-meaning Nigerians to position themselves to benefit from the positive and massive changes we will be seeing across every facet of Nigerian life shortly. The sadists and enemies of progress can die in frustration. |
happney65:When will some of you stop this needless show of ignorance and sadism? Is is not what you demanded in bold State governments are now trying to provide? Read the article slowly and assimilate what is written to note you have commented ignorantly and out of turn. If you had read the article as an open-minded and progressive person you will note Governors even address your point about fairness of pricing and power supply (see excerpt below) meaning you should spend more time trying to be an informed, progressive and optimistic critic instead of someone always looking to contribute negativity alone. Sorry if my words seem harsh but it is because I think some of us, regardless of misrule in the past, can be more useful in the quest to make Nigeria a developed nation by choosing to be active participants of the change process as optimistic, objective, informed and patriotic Nigerians always willing to give positive change a chance. You call what is written "story" but your ignorant and misguided comments only validate the saying "if you wish to hide something from a black man, hide it in a book". The one thing any progressive Nigerian will discern from the article is the joyous observation that Governors are now taking full responsibility for power supply and proactively personalised tariff regime to match the peculiarities and needs of their States. They are now ready to abandon the "one Nigeria" failure most Governors and leaders hid behind since 1999. We too, the electorate, should then gear up, in our respective States, to be fully ready to hold them to account instead of talking as if all we are good for is to simply be bystanders only available to contribute negative and ignorant comments.. Commenting on winding down electricity subsidies, the NGF said, “Electricity is a commodity and a product that must be paid for by consumers. The states believe that electricity subsidies and other forms of financial interventions in the power sector by the Federal Government over the last 15 years have been inefficient and ineffective so far. |
agadez007:Oga Abeg shut up or find better ways to hide your raw hatred of Yorubas. How many Nigerians, even your fellow bigoted kinsmen, will agree with you that Yorubas, credited as arguably the most religiously tolerant group of people in the world, practice Islam of fundamentalism plus the unleashing of brutal death on “unbelievers”? You’ve ever seen the stoning to death of anyone, for religious purpose, as happened to poor Deborah, anywhere in the SW carried out by Yoruba Moslems? How many Yoruba Moslems are carrying out the sort of mindless killings, fundamentalists and radically inspired by the need to terrorise others, IPOb have been serially guilty of for years now? I would swear for you if not that I would then be banned by your kinsman mod for the next six months. Nonsense. Some of you are so hateful you can even accuse the Saintly mother Theresa of paedophilia merely because you hate her background and racial/ethnic origin. |
ponishah:He may be a spokesman for the terrorists because that is how those sort always ‘Taqiyah’ the general public to hide the unholy alliance between compromised elements in our politics/armed forces and Bandits/terrorists. |
Desperate “Yes Daddy” will use anything to trend and gain popularity so no surprise he talks before thinking. Then again he may simply lack the intellect to think and therefore says whatever comes to his mind. 😆 |
Racoon:You are shameless. Would it kill you to praise Tinubu directly and without ambivalence for going where no President, including your darling GEJ, has dared to go in pursuit of what is best for Nigeria and Nigerians? In case most Nigerians have not realised it, regional autonomy is the holy grail of what any leader can achieve for Nigeria. It is essentially the get out of 'one Nigeria' jail card for all regions to go and become as great or as backward as the indigenes desire. No more forces of regression holding back progressive, peace loving and development-minded people. It cannot ever be beaten because it is even far more transformational for Nigerians and their generations unborn than Awolowo's free education. Still, I appreciate that your DNA, laced top to bottom with hate for Yorubas and Tinubu, will never allow you give credit where and to whom due. Pathetic. |
