lowkey0147:No wahala. Jubilate chair position and construction. Place Wike over Tinubu if that gives you an erection. Whatever silliness makes you happy, please knock yourself out. Those of us who worship ideas and progress of man and society felicitate with the good people of Abuja for having an ultra-performer in Wike, ably appointed and supported by President Tinubu , as Minister of FCT.

kestolove95:Only one? Man deserves a crate for that sound comment. Obidients are all a collective waste of space. |

jmoore:Lol. Is that what you call living in "different parts of Nigeria" considering how you Igbos swarm everywhere in Nigeria? How many in that gathering 60 to 100? You're a clown bro. |
thesicilian:I see your point too. I have to add also that I personally believe Guardiola is the greatest football coach in the history of the EPL and one of the greatest coaches in universal football ever. His four EPL title , back to back, will not be surpassed in our lifetime IMO. I just feel that it can be interpreted that Arteta achieved more and beyond his delivery last year than Gaurdiola did. Guardiola is a Genius and you may be right that some of us, including the judges who gave the award to Arteta, are comparing Guardiola to Guardiola because he is simply that good. |
Made2Last:Lol. True that. Might even get one or two Amakas or Chidinmas thrown in as 'jara'. |
TheGoodJoe:Not an excuse in modern football and for very wealthy clubs like Man City. They replaced Aguero who was one of the greatest strikers in the EPL and continued winning the Premiership. Very big, powerful and rich clubs can attract the best players to replace outgoing players however talented. |
thesicilian:In the mind of the those awarding the honour, Guardiola did not better himself, achievement wise, above what his coaching delivered the previous season, while Arteta did because Arsenal broke many personal records. Guardiola has won the EPL 6 out of 7 seasons in a row so how does winning it again signify him best coach? Best Coaches should raise standard and make footballing gains not reached before. |
VinnyBaba:Totally correct. Plus he failed to win the champions league and FA cup this season when he had won both in 2022-20223 season, along with winning the Premiership, to clear the treble last year. Judges will adjudge Gaurdiola as having a poorer 2023-2024 season, with one trophy, than his 2022-2023 season when he won three trophies including the very special Champions league. He does not deserve it. |
KnowAll:Not surprised. That is how it must be if one understands that effective delegation and diligent sharing of responsibilities is needed to get tiers of Nigerian governance working optimally to the benefit of Nigerians. It is the reason we had Federal, State and Local Government as tiers of Nigerian government before corruption, especially at State government level, reduced local governments into glorified and worthless toys of Governors. As for the Obidients, they are just insincere hacks. They never criticize because they want better for Nigeria. They do so to make Tinubu look bad because, in their shallow minds, that improves the chances of Obi becoming President. Dunces the lot of them. |
Mvnster:Excellent observations and comments. More autonomy, power and funding for the 774 local governments of Nigeria is the only way most Nigerians will ever see development. For example, we all complain against Tinubu about bad roads in our locality yet what we fail to grasp is that good roads will remain a wish forever if local government leaders are not genuinely empowered, and then held to account, to deliver quality residential/internal roads and make a difference at local Government level. FG will never usually get involved with road construction at State level let alone local Government level. Ditto many other essentials like healthcare etal. The 774 local government area, because it is where we all reside in, must be empowered by all means possible to be a far greater contributor to overcoming the problems of Nigerians where they live and work. Tinubu's and the FG's current court case against States 'imprisonment' of local governments corresponds with the conclusion and thinking of OP. This is why I rate Tinubu as an effective visionary who has no time for providing fish when he knows enduring solutions, that fosters the greatest progress and development, comes from teaching the populace to fish. Reform to the funding, roles and leadership of local governments of Nigeria is crucial because the LG is where we all live and therefore they need to be empowered and better-funded to directly address our needs. |
immortalcrown:Would not be so if Igbos were not the undisputed Kings of offensively and needlessly taunting/trolling other ethnic groups only to then play victim when others hit back. For example, I am personally sure there is no pictorial taunt of any Nigerian ethnic group greater in volume online than the 'Ibadan brown roof' Igbos have been deploying to troll Yorubas from time immemorial. Times are changing and Igbos have succeed, because they assumed their fellow Nigerians are weaklings they can molest without repercussion, bringing out the savages in others who now know how to hit Igbos back hurtfully. It is why hypocritical and two-faced Obidient are by far the most hated set of political supporters in Nigeria and even in Africa given Nigeria's population. |
femi4:Yes OO. Like Eko Atlantic, Lagos metro rail and many others we can see, touch and even use today. Shior. Hatred and bad belle is an incurable curse. |
theamazonguru:God bless you. They are so frustrating because their utterances makes it obvious to discerning Nigerians that “bad energy” haters and followers are a big problem for Nigeria also and not leaders alone as most Nigerians like to claim. |
yommen:The poster you responded to and his kind are so tiring and frustrating. Their ilk always remind enlightened Nigerians we have a considerable Human Resources challenge, I.e one that cannot think progressively and be productive, in our effort to become a developed nation. |
MaryWilbur:Is Lagos, since Tinubu became Governor and for 25 years, a State you can accuse of being among those that do “empty propaganda” ? Or has Lagos proven, time and time again, over decades, she is the exemplary and undisputed leader who deserves respect for all that has being delivered and achieved since our current democracy began in 1999? While many have failed with white Elephants like Tinapa etal Lagos has developed superlative and even first of it’s kind in Africa/West Africa project like Eko Atlantic and the metro rail respectively. The LFTZ, Lekki Port and International Airport, for those aware of their transformational significance for African commerce and trade , is another stunner. I have deliberately mentioned projects to match or better those of the highest standards anywhere in Africa let alone the many smaller projects Lagos has delivered her fellow Nigerian states cannot dream of delivering. Lagos is 100% proven and verified. She is the only State in Nigeria where projects once conceived, and however big or challenging, are always delivered . |
Superb again from Lagos . Other States of Nigeria need this asap. States with serious Governors should consider leveraging on what Lagos has done to gain tailor-made solutions for their waste challenges with the very welcomed added bonus of contributory gains to the power generation capacity of their States. |
Reference to senility, in relation to OBJ, is in poor taste but general message is correct and one that has been aimed at hypocritical OBJ many, many times. OBJ should try to be a gracious Former President but that is not possible as he is vindictive and full of arrogance plus a messiah complex that makes him feel he is the best there was and will ever be. Everything he did was right, inspired and special. Everything others after him have done/are doing is wrong, poorly considered and /or incompetent. Whereas, for all his ungracious, hypocritical and obtrusive noise against others ( from Yar Adua to Jonathan plus Buhari and now Tinubu) OBJ’s reign as president, for the intellectually discerning, was below average per lacking the fundamental reforms Nigeria needs to move from a third world nation to a developed one. OBJ is the typical Nigerian i.e “ I know it all and know it best”. Too many of those sort of individuals in any nation, whether as leaders or ordinary citizens, will only create the Nigeria we all have today while they continue to view others incompetent and/or inferior. |
CountinBlessins:lol. Savage response. 👏🏽👏🏽 |
lol. When you think you’ve seen the whole lunatic range of their obsessive covetousness, land grabbing, expansionist treachery and usurpation agenda the IPOB lot manage to shock with another asinine claim pulled out of their asses. These people are comical. I’ll just leave it there😎 |
SocialJustice:Abeg Lawan "was to be President" of what Country according to you? Niger Republic, Chad or Mali? Certainly not Nigeria and never via APC that had a gentleman agreement power would revert to the South after Buhari. Lawan was never in consideration as a candidate to be President of Nigeria except late in 2022 when Abdullahi Adamu, former APC chairman, wanted to crudely force him on others as consensus candidate. |
I don’t know why fans of decency, plus those who speak up for what is right, are even responding online to defend or justify Soyinka’a utterances to Obidients who are largely Yoruba and Nigeria-hating bigot, bullies, haters and nuisances No Obidient, showing they lack decency and uprightness, has ever insisted “Yes Daddy” should have stepped down from the Presidential race when he was exposed trying to incite a “religious war” in a religiously volatile nation like Nigeria just to win an election. It therefore beats my imagination why so many are even here discussing anything with the fascist and nauseatingly vile hypocrites called Obidients. Obi, clearly a bigot, is not a good man and never fit to lace Soyinka’s boots. Nigerians should not be giving delusional IPOB hack the time of day because Soyinka condemned Obi, a bigot himself, for not been able to control his army of bigots and fascists. What most Nigerians , including Soyinka, are too polite and politically correct to admit is that “game recognize game” . I.e the most vile, most uncouth, most hateful, most bigoted and most disruptive members of the Nigerian electorate follow Obi because they recognize he is their ‘kindred spirit” messiah. Nigerians should show balls and shun hypocrisy to admit the many actions of “Yoruba Party” Obi, some outrightly corrupt and dishonest, show he is anything but what people claim he is. If a sane nation, full of people who think clearly, then it is not Soyinka who has said wrong. It is Obi and his virulently fascist mob who should be proscribed like IPOB. |
triple996:And our women in the USA, UK, Italy etal are all angels who don’t engage in prostitution and other vices? Lack of opportunities is the big difference between Nigeria and the West. It is the difference between attaining your god-given potentials or ending up wasted and worthless to yourself and society. Praise the woman who is topic of thread and leave it at that. It is in bad taste to use her success to attack and demonize Nigerian women in Nigeria who can only dream of the opportunities this lady had to reach where she is today. Reality we all know is that many Nigerian women in Nigeria would not be the way they are but for the hopelessness of Nigeria. This is why ‘japa’ to escape Nigeria, even to Somalia, is very popular today. @Topic. Kudos madam Lord Mayor of Leeds. All progressive Nigerians are proud of you and your achievement |
Beautifulday:You can see it as you please but the reality is that Soyinka has never held any elective political or public administration office. Talk less of one he has used incompetently or corruptly to let down an electorate, who would then have the right to be mad at him, as is the case with Obi, Tinubu, OBJ etal. Soyinka can condemn Obi and others on their record as elected political leaders. It is his right to do so even though bitter, uncouth, ill-mannered, virulent, inconsiderate and fascist Obidients will never agree with that. |
Beautifulday:You are so moved by bias you cannot see the obvious. Soyinka’s opinion is that of a private citizen and non-Politician. OBJ talk is that of a former President who ruined lives, supplanted gangsters all across the SW as Governors, impeached governors he did not like and failed to deliver fundamental reforms that would have left us much better off than we are today. $16 billion dollars NIPP cash vanished into thin air between him and Atiku with not a megawatt of electricity added to our grid. We cannot forget his vindictiveness of trying to destroy who/what he dislikes like Tinubu and Lagos back then. For him to then be trying to instigate chaos and insurrection against other elected Presidents after him is condemnable for those who remember his rule well and were seriously let down by it. Soyinka has held no public office and has led no Nigerian politically. He is only proffering opinions he is entitled to same as you do everyday as a non-Politician who has not directly failed anyone and can therefore have strong opinion about those you feel are failing or have failed (Obi) in leadership. |
BondRiv:You’re not being objective nor are you taking into consideration the reality of Nigeria. Our nation is toxically and religiously charged at the moment. There is no gain for Tinubu, a Yoruba, going to intervene forcefully in the affairs of Northerners. He will be accused of bias and insensitivity so cannot win. Best to remain neutral and direct aggrieved folks to seek redress legally. |
Basic123:Aregbesola really condemned himself to the dustbin of Nigerian public administration for good. This is because, along with his own incompetence, Tunji-Ojo has shown Aregbesola to be similar to what is shown below that is worse than the worst available in todays telephony market. Shame.
|
Nackzy:Some of us who like being informed, and believe “knowledge is power”, are happy to recieve information the Minister is disseminating. |
NzogbuNzogbu:Say those on the right and relevant thread. When you come on a positive thread with negativity, i.e one where a genuine and transformational leader deserves credit, there is something wrong with you. Sadism has totally engulfed you. You are disturbed same as a man who comes to your graduation ceremony to fight you is a lunatic considering, whatever you have done, he can choose another time and place . Many Nigerians have mental health issues. They are not balanced and it is not enough to say government caused it. You alone, and others like you, will suffer mental anguish that makes you less productive, highly frustrated and unhappy. Not "government". Make a conscious effort to work on being mentally healthy and capable of engaging normally in society at large, as things may improve, or you will only continue to damage your own mental health and, by extension, further damage your own happiness and chance of success. |
NzogbuNzogbu:You're not making any sense. Dial down on the hate and your utterances might make sense. |
obamiyi:Indeed. Arriving Nigerians with valid passports will no longer be delay and harrassed by rude, unprofessional and bribe-seeking immigration officers asking stupid and irrelevant question while treating legitimate travellers like criminals. |
The "game-changer" Minister. The significance of this is huuuuuuuuggggggeeee. We salute !!!!
