Okay guys, the last one hour has been fantastic on this thread.

I actually stumbled on it, like I was not searching. Just doing my thing.

Shoutout to McHenzy, CosmicJames and everyone keeping it real.

I've been in digital marketing for years, but as it was getting harder to get my wife a job after her baby, I decided to set her up on Shopify.

Using my knowledge of FB ads, and niche selection (the two biggest problems with Dropshipping), I have been able to successfully create my own problem. LOL

By the end of this year, I will be quitting my own business to work in her dropshipping company. Its been that successful in a matter of months.

It is perfect, low cost, and with a little common sense, you can shock your landlord or naysayers in a matter of months.

Kudos guys!

The very word.

My middle finger is permanently dedicated to SEO grin

Pay for ads, and in due season, uncle G will not be able to deny you your ranking.

If you have the money, pay for ads and move inventories faster...

That's what most big sellers do. You think Big brands wait for Google or why do they pay for ads on TV, Instagram and Facebook when they can do SEO?

Check out what is driving the gain.

If a man starts spending money to appear rich, does it mean he is rich?

Of course, he will get fans, but if his income cannot match the expenses, he will soon fade.

This is the situation and the prophecy of this present dollar battle.

The fundamentals have not changed, so what are we talking about.

Don't get me wrong. I love women.

But when you start doing first this, first that, you only reinforce the idea that it is hard for women to rise.

In my humble opinion, women will have it easier when they stop this practice.

Complete, Total and Absolute Control Over You and Your Money

Any Fulani cattle herder knows the first step to slaughtering his cattle is getting them all into one single pen.

And remember you and me are the beef cows.

But right now, we’re outside of “the pen.”

We’re able to withdraw our money… and keep it in cash...

We can come and go places as we please…

Transact with who we want…

Buy and sell the things we want….

Do it all anonymously, if we’d like…

We’re “free range.”

But that’s a big problem for the government.

And the government is the farmer in this story.

The pen they’ll force us into?

The banks.

And throughout history, whenever a government runs out of options to pay its debt or maintain social order… it resorts to complete control.

It needs the ability to control every citizen’s move… every cent they own… and every action they take.

That way it can manage crises and retain its power.

The alternative would be defaulting on its debt… or giving up its power…

And I think you know that a government giving up its power is like dry water… It just doesn’t exist.

The government debt… bad derivatives bets… and the bigness of the banks that made them is a ticking time bomb for the next crisis.

It could literally blow up any day now, and be ten times worse than the 2008 crisis.

And that’s why the government is preparing for total control over you, your money and everyone else in the economy.

That control is only possible if everyone in Nigeria and their wealth is in one place.

According to one report, there are fewer banks today in Nigeria than at any other time in history since independence.

Over time the government has helped them merge together until there were only a few mega-banks left.

Just look at how many banks there were before, and look at how many are left now…

And the number keeps reducing.

And soon, they'll be less than 5. You’ll have to check in, but you can never leave...

That way, the government will be able to track your every move… your transactions…

They'll be able to make you docile and obedient, for fear of punishment or wealth confiscation…

And they could steal some of everyone's wealth outright to pay their debts or prop up banks…

How? And when? And where does the devaluation I started this letter with come in?

Let’s take them in order.

There are three phases to this plan to round up everyone’s money… and steal your wealth.

It will all start with the stroke of a pen...
Business / Re: If The Naira Crashes Next Month by wjxavier(m): 1:39am On Mar 07, 2017
Smoking Gun Proof the Devaluation Era Is on the Way

If you’ve been paying attention to financial news you might have heard about the government’s so-called “Cashless Policy”

The elites in government and academia who wage this war on cash give three excuses why cash should be banned:

· >> Drug dealers, criminals and terrorists use cash to stay anonymous and fund their operations…

· >> Counterfeiters can make their own physical currency…

· >> Businesses can be “cash only” and avoid paying their fair share of taxes...

But those are not the REAL reasons for this war on cash…

The true reason is that the greatest financial crisis in history is about to slam Nigeria…

What is about to happen will make the last 18 months seem like Christmas.

And the government doesn’t have enough money to bail out the system like they did in 2008.

· So they're going to steal YOUR money.

· And if you can withdraw and hide your money in cash… under your mattresses… in home safes... then they can’t steal it from you.

THAT’S why there’s a war on cash.

The government may not have the money it needs to bail out the financial system.

But 180 million Nigerians DO have the money… collectively.

3 million MMMers lost 18 billion in 2016…and they didn’t die
.

Now, Imagine what 180 million ignorant Nigerians will lose.

In your savings accounts… pension accounts… in your fixed deposit accounts and other business accounts… heck, even in your KiddySave account!

When the government’s back is against the wall, nothing is immoral.

According to the CBN, Nigerians’ total wealth is more than five times the Nigerian national output.

It’s all of your money… all of my money… and all of our neighbors’ money… combined.

And it means one thing:

· We are, all of us, fattened calves.

· And the government wants to slaughter us… roast us… and feast on our juicy flesh.

To do that, they need one thing:
Business / Re: If The Naira Crashes Next Month by wjxavier(m): 1:33am On Mar 07, 2017
Hundreds of banks and insurance companies could shut their doors...

Gold and silver could become unattainable at any price.

Now, I know plenty of financial gurus have been making similar types of predictions for years.

But right here in this letter, I’m going to show you something none of them has ever shown you before.

I’m going to show you EXACTLY what’s going to replace the Naira as you know it...

And I’ll tell you the timeline it could all unfold in.

You need to take three simple — but crucial — steps about your money right now. Don’t wait another minute.

Because following my instructions today is not only the best way to protect yourself during the coming crash…

But mint yourself one of the “New Elites” in the coming new financial order.

Someone who has financial independence, peace of mind, and the respect of your peers and neighbors.

These are some of the same moves I’m making with my own money.

Now, before I show you what the replacement is...

Let me be clear about what this way out is NOT…

· >> It's NOT MMM, or any of its miserable clones.

· >> Not bitcoin...

· >> Not any paper currency in existence today...

· >> Not any commodity like oil, iron, copper, wheat…

· >> And not anything else you’re familiar with or have ever heard of
.

Instead it's a new (and frightening) chapter in our financial history.

Something not one in 100,000 people knows about.

It’s only through my deep government contacts… and ten years of intense economic and historical research... that I’ve uncovered this early information for you.

But the window to prepare for these new event is closing fast.

It’s not my intention to pressure you. Not at all...

But the cold truth is: When the financial elites see what I’m sharing with you right now… they'll likely censor this information in a second’s notice.

Heck… I Could Get Arrested For This!

That could happen by morning.

At that point, your hard-earned money could lose its value… and make you (and your children) poorer and less free.

It will be too late. And I don’t want you to miss out.

Everything you need is here in this short letter.

But first, bold claims require bold backup...

Who am I?

Why should you listen to me?

And what gives me the right to talk about something so “out there” as a currency devaluation changing your entire way of life?

Let me show you...

Business / Re: If The Naira Crashes Next Month by wjxavier(m): 1:26am On Mar 07, 2017
Hi, my name is Waju Abraham— please hold this startling scenario in your mind for a moment...

I’m an entrepreneur, coach, author and trusted client-acquisition advisor to the lots of Nigerian businesses…

And while for the moment, the scenario I’ve outlined is a cautionary tale…

It’s important to know two things…

1. What you’re about to read isn’t some sci-fi script.

In fact, our country has been this close to total economic collapse exactly NINE times before.

Crashes just like the one I described for you.

And…

2. I’m not some crackhead conspiracy theorist that lacks proof.

In my hands, right now, I have a copy of the 36-page paper warning of this eventuality...

And in the next 30 seconds I’m going to reveal a very real, but secret, proposal to devalue the Naira in circulation…

This move would catch most Nigerians totally off guard, keeping their hard-earned money in the bank.

And if the scenario I’ve just outlined occurs...

Stores you shop at for food… clothes… medicine… the petrol station where you fill up your tank... will close down.

Currency devaluations are like car wrecks. They’re usually sudden and bloody, they hurt a lot of other people, and they create a mess that can stop traffic for hours.

In the meantime, the government is more concerned with firing senior officials than fixing the real problems.

When a currency collapses, the country’s banking sector implodes.

If you manage to find an ATM with cash, you took as much cash out of it as you could – and you quickly told your friends and family so they can do the same too.

Crowds of unlucky bank depositors will mob branches, demanding their money back… but that cash – which was worth a lot less already – will be gone forever.

In the days immediately after the start of the devaluation, some stores won’t re-price their goods. So, a bottle of imported wine that had cost N1,200, still cost N1,000.

But the dollar equivalent of that bottle of wine falls from US$30 (at N400 to the dollar) to US$17.50 at the new exchange rate.

People lucky enough to be holding dollars or other hard currencies will suddenly find a lot of bargains.

During sudden depreciations, demand for things like cars often jumps sharply. That’s because people want to use their quickly depreciating currency to buy something that will hold value better than paper bills. (This is why the Dollar is a great thing to own if a devaluation hits).

It’s better to buy something that you can use, and something that you might be able to sell later at a good price, than to watch the value of your Naira collapse.

A devaluation hurts normal people who use the currency -and this is especially true if an economy consumes a lot of imported goods – because those goods are a lot more expensive after a devaluation.

The price of anything that’s imported, from baby food to cars to ties, rises. But the amount of money people earn in local currency stays pretty much the same.

But there will be opportunities as well, as I’ll talk about in a minute.

Business / If The Naira Crashes Next Month by wjxavier(m): 1:20am On Mar 07, 2017
It’s 7:00 AM.

You roll out of bed, thinking today will be like every other day.

But you’re about to be very wrong.

Instantly, you hear police sirens wailing down the main road of your town…

As you move to the window, you a see motorcade of patrol cars and ten armored trucks fly down the street…well over the speed limit…

And they're headed to your local bank...

The same bank where you cash and deposit your hard-earned money.

You turn on your generator so you can watch the TV to find out what’s happening.

You tune in to your local news station to watch the historic moment on live television.

The armored trucks pull into your bank’s parking lot.

The screen on the TV reads: “BREAKING NEWS: THE NAIRA HAS CRASHED, CHAOS ENSUES.”

Crowds are standing around with their cellphones out...

They’re recording what’s happening.

The police are making sure the hoodlums stay away, but the crowds are growing restless…

They’re starting to push their way past the roadblocks and near the ATMs.

Police in riot gear hold guns ready –armed to the teeth. They demand peace and calm over the megaphones.

For a moment you forget how quickly it all happened…

You read about this possibility somewhere online just ten days ago.

The fronts of the ATMs are opened…

The bundles of naira you’ve always known are removed…

The ATM slams shut…

The backs of the armored trucks swing open…

And massive pallets of shrink-wrapped money are loaded on.

A protestor knocks down the barricade and begins to rush the bank…

A second shortly follows…

The police arm up, warning the crowd to fall back in line.

But like floodgates that open, protests spill from the street… over the barricades… and flood into the bank.

The first shots are fired into the crowd…

Business / Common Frustrations With Clients: Let's Share Experiences! by wjxavier(m): 12:39am On Mar 07, 2017
Do you ever wish there was a magic button you could just flick on in an aspect of your business?

Years of observation have taught me that as humans, we only begin to wish for a magic button in an area of our lives that has defied logic. As in, you're tired of trying, but your pride won't let you admit it. So you just keep pretending to try...

But deep inside you're almost praying for that magic button -even if only as compensation for months or years or frustration.

After all, we wouldn't need a magic button for something we can do perfectly, right?

So now...lets talk about your business today, and not just that, let's look at the client-getting aspect of your business.

Are you happy with the results you are getting?

Do you feel like you've hit a ceiling, and you can't break through it?

Does it depress you just to think about the last time you tried to go into business?

In more than a decade of doing business, I've learnt that we are not really into real estate business, or oil business, or agric business, or online business.

The only business we are ALL in is the business of getting clients, aka marketing.

This is where people suffer the most frustration, and they blame it on other things like their village folks, yknow...stuff.

Here's the truth...

Client-getting becomes easier when we learn to break it into unique aspects, because NOT EVERYBODY HURTS IN THE SAME PLACE.

So I've broken it into the following 6 unique aspects, viz:

1.) Finding clients with money. For many people, finding their idea clients is a major confusion. We start a business with gusto and enthusiasm, get an office, but stuff and then... ...nobody is coming fa!

2.) Connecting with them. I suffered this because I used to stammer badly. It be in the presence of a client, and suddenly be tongue-tied. Should I talk, or should I let him control the conversation? It was so confusing.

3.) Engaging them: Ever gone for a presentation where 5 minutes into it, half the audience is dozing? Chai. E go be like make I get gun. This is another major frustration that people face secretly.

4.) Selling to them: Okay, so you finally summon the courage to pitch your product or service. The client needs it. In fact, they're suffering without it.

FOR EXAMPLE:
A client of mine came to me frustrated one day 14 months ago. He works with people struggling with weight loss. His solution worked wonders, but people weren't buying. In fact, he was sharing testimony anytime he got an order via Konga -and that was like once in 2 months.

Anyway, we took him up and suggested a few tweaks. Client was mad. "This is impossible! I will lose all my clients! Yada yada..." We finally managed to calm him down and convinced him.

Fast forward today, they've expanded to 3 major cities...14 months...in a recession.

But I wasn't always this smart. In fact, I failed woefully for years.

The truth is, my friend, selling is hard -when done the wrong way.

Do you struggle to sell? This is another aspect.

5.) Closing them aka getting paid: Okay, una don talk finish. E com remain to dey post you upandan. Have you been here before?

I've been there. Written proposals, made connections, dotted my I's and crossed my T's. I almost wasted a year waiting for a windfall that never came.

Then one day, I decided to get a mentor. My mentor taught me 2 silly-sounding tips that turned out working like magic. shocked shocked shocked shocked

Na so my story change. grin

One more thing...

An aspect that's very very important is PRICING correctly.

So many price their products so low that it ends up turning away the prospect. angry Or would you be comfortable having a doctor perform surgery on you for N3,500

And it's not really their fault, see! grin

By default, human beings are generally afraid to ask for what they deserve.

It's deep in our subconscious.

I suffered from this for years until I learned to raise my INNER SALES GAME. cool

Now, as a copywriter, I can comfortably charge N350,000 to write a single sales letter without shaking.

So now, if you're reading this right now.. let's hear your story...success or failure...worst case is we all learn.

Which of these is/are your biggest problem in dealing with clients.

Or is there another one I didn't mention?

Please share.

I believe I know a thing or two about being successful with clients that can help you. I'm sharing free here. No selling please.

dahelite9:
Hello all, I am a fresh graduate of uniben and I just collected my weekly contribution(commonly called ajó). The money is actually 105k, but am really confused on what to start up with the money.

Any business idea is welcomed either online or offline.

Ogbeni, let me tell you one truth. I don't think you need capital to start business.

Listen to this "Of what use is money in the hand of a fool to buy wisdom, seeing he has not the heart for it?" -Book of Proverbs.

I'm not calling you a fool o!

Let me explain. You don't have a skill that's marketable, and that's why you're asking this question.

But business has a learning curve. Trade has its own. Business is the art of growing money. Trade is the act.

If you take this money right now, without any ready experience, and invest it into a business, I'd say your chances of growing wealth will be very slim. Example is Dangote who loaned 500k from his uncle. O boy, before that loan, mother guy don serve. HE DON LEARN!

So please, what I'm saying is DONT LOOK FOR A BUSINESS TO BEGIN. Look for a skill to acquire. Gbam!

Don't be deceived. If you ignore this, you will remember when the money is gone.

GET SKILL FIRST.

Now, if you need skill, I can offer you two skills.

1.) Master Copywriting. Copywriting is the art of writing words that are used in adverts to make people buy stuff.
Why copywriting? All you need is a brain, and patience. No capital needed to buy ANYTHING. See? Zero Capital again!

How to learn? Here is a great website to learn from. He's a great teacher. http://kopywritingkourse.com/how-to-become-a-copywriter/

I also offer a free course on copywriting https://CabalFood.com/words2cash on my site. You can learn a thing or two there for free. It won't make you great, but it'll at least set you on the path for success.

I get to charge from 120k to 1.3m for jobs on copywriting to copy consulting. grin

Businesses are in need of people who can increase their sales significantly, and that's where copy guys come in.

So keep your money, my guy if you believe in tithe, pay your tithe. (I do).

But master a skill before you think of business. Do not be deceived by the juiciness of the offers you are getting here.

The skill is the real deal.

Business / 13 Growth Hacking Lessons A Naija Runs Girl Will Teach You. by wjxavier(m): 5:14pm On Jan 09, 2017
The question I want to answer in this post is about how anyone can break into a crowded market from virtual obscurity to seize their market by storm, terrifying the competition and practically owning the lion share of the market in record time.

Now, while this post will not make you an overnight success, it sure will give you clarity on what's important and what is not.

One thing this post will help you do however, is start growing a large fan base of people who trust you and your recommendations.

1 – SHE KNOWS HER HIGHEST VALUE ACTIVITIES

A runs girl knows exactly what she's about. Contrary to what many people think, her job is not to give you sex. She wants to give you a mindblowing orgasm such that you always want her brand of sex.

Most businesses don't think this way. A car dealer may think he sells cars, but he is wrong. He sells access to prestige. That's why people buy cars. They want a ride that explains their “level” at face value.

They don't want you mistaken about what they are worth.

In the crowded car market of Lagos State, if all you claim to be is a car dealer, you will struggle like a food stuff seller in Oyingbo market.

I'm sure you don't want that.

Too often, you find businesses who are into everything. Check a business card of a random guy, and you will see they are into everything from real estate to importation.

I'm not saying having multiple businesses is bad. It's just that you must realize and identify the ones that bring in the most rewards.

I used to introduce myself as a digital marketing expert, until the day I met my mentor. He gave me a real verbal thrashing.

Such descriptions are too broad, and guess what? The human mind does not do well with options. We simply tune out. We don't want to bothered.

The less options we give clients, the more we retain their attention and the better our chance of beings remembered-and hired.

If you do not identify and present your core value activities, you will never reach your true potential in business. Argue with your bank account.

2 – RUNS GIRLS KNOW THEIR MARKET AND WHAT THEY REALLY WANT.

This may sound like the first tip, but it isn't.

The runs girl (sometimes, I will refer to her as hooker, or sex worker. Forgive me. I don't much know the difference) knows that what her idea client wants is a mindblowing orgasm. Make it too long, and they will say she's old. Make it too short, and they will hate you for making them look weak. It hurts the male ego to be a one-minute man.

Here's the fact. All men love to have sex, but what they really want is a repeat of that high school sex experience that was naughty, raunchy, steamy and mostly unprotected.

Do you really know what your market wants?

You probably imagine you do, but I'll bet 10k that you don't.

Way back when I was a just a web designer getting jobs every other month, I didn't know this, but what my clients wanted was more sales –not an online sign board.

If you have a website, you probably know this already. Having a website is not enough. What matters is how that website will generate a significant increase in enquirers and actual sales.

3 – TO WIN PEOPLE OVER, SHE SAYS WHAT SHE’S GOING TO DO, AND THEN DOES IT.

To get a paying client, the runs girl tells you what she is going to do to you –and she does it.

If she tells you by the time she's done, you won't be able to stand, you better believe it.

In fact, that single offer gives you vivid pictures that multiply her irresistibility by 10 raised to the power of X.

Note: I often tell my clients this and it surprises them. People don't pay for your services. Since they usually pay before they experience your service or product, it makes good reason to believe that they're actually paying you for your ability to convince them.

In a world full of failed promises from friends, spouses and government, you can't go wrong being clear about your ability and delivery.

4 – SHE POSITIONS HERSELF UNMISTAKABLY AND ATTRACTS THE LION SHARE OF ATTENTION.

In church, everyone looks the same, right?

Wrong. You still know a hooker when you see one. So much that if someone copies her, people say she looks like a hooker.

Married women have taken a strange cue from this, and dress “responsible”. The effect is that it reinforces the appeal of the hooker like concrete and steel rods.

In my business, I do away completely with suits and neckties. Ugh! I don't care if I'm going to meet the governor.

Heck! I'm not alone. Good old Mark Zuckerberg plays this card well. I just can't imagine the founder of an online beer parlor dressing in a 3-piece suit. Can you?

The subtle effect of this is a subconscious display of dominance. You're saying you don't really give a Bleep. Soon, people begin to copy you. And like the hooker, they only strengthen you.

Uncle Ayo Fayose started sharing rice in 2014. (Before then, it was portable water in 2002.) The uproar was great. Ekiti people everywhere were the targets of silly online jokes and memes. But what happened?

A year later, everyone in the opposition was sharing rice!

So you see, when you were the first into a market, all the imitators only reinforce your position. They don’t weaken it.

You can take that to the bank.

I can't place everything here due to forum rules. So, here's the last one. Visit the blog for the full content.

#5 -TO REACH THE HIGHEST HEIGHTS, HOOKERS NEED A PERSONA AND A STORY

This story might get me in trouble, but Bleep it mehn. I'm way past fear. Besides, I'm only using it for illustration purposes.

The whole of Yoruba land was in uproar over the choice of the new Ooni, His Classical Majesty, Oba Ogunwusi, to marry his new wife.

Why?

Rumors said she was a badass player (putting it lightly). Several stories made the pages of blogs across the country, and the bloggers had a field day getting cheap clicks.

By the way, if you think you need to be a gossip like Linda to make it blogging, you're on a long thing. I did a post on that recently. You can read it here.

What I'm saying here is that stories are powerful tools for creating viral allure for your brand. From the example above, you can see that the stories only ended up making her more powerful and alluring. After all, it meant she was good with men!

Bottom line is that a persona and a story will take you a long way, but both need to be authentic. It won't even matter if it's a bad story.

I once took a bad story where a client called me out online, and turned it into a N15,000,000 windfall. My persona is of someone who can turn anything into money. Close allies call me The Money Whisperer. Cool, eh? I thought so too!

To get attention and stand out, you want to craft a compelling Core Story that amplifies your competitive edge and attracts a following.

The average hooker has a story of “grass to grace”. You forget her profession and marvel at her turnaround skills.

As someone said,

If you can't hide your skeletons, at least make them dance!

All the large corporations like Apple and Microsoft have photos in circulation that tell their stories when they were goggle-wearing, unattractive nerds working to make things happen. The photos get likes any day you share them.

That's how to create a following.

What's your story? Are you telling it correctly?

Of course, it goes without saying that your story has to be original. If you craft a story, it will draw a following. But guess what? You audience is not dumb. Up close, they'll make you out to be a liar, and you'll soon be in a far worse place than you were before.

This is really why Hollywood generates more money than Harvard.

Stories to humans are like honey to bees, or like shit to flies. Craft your story, and stand by it. You will thank me later.

Read more on my blog. Leave a comment. Let me know which of them you're using already, and what you disagree with.

Cheers.

Health / Atan Cemetery Shames The Dead Too [VIEWER DISCRETION ADVISED] by wjxavier(m): 1:24am On Dec 31, 2016
This is an article I wrote in October and sent to Punch Newspapers. It never got any recognition or mention in the news. I am encouraged to share here because I read about Imota Cemetery. Why is Lagos so numb to death?

When I retire to heaven, I'd like to be cremated.

I'd like the ashes spread over places I've lived and loved. No! Don't keep me in a sealed, airtight jar on the mantelpiece. Let me soar with the wind, and run with the rivulets that form when the rain falls on a typical summers day.

And if you think I'm trying to be poetic, you're wrong. Let me tell you why I said so.

The last time I visited Atan cemetery on university road Akoka was in 2006. Actually, before that the only time I ever entered Nigeria's largest cemetery was in 1998, as a student of UNILAG. We had gone to bury a brilliant only child who had been felled by stray bullets in the wake of violent protests that rocked the nation after MKO's death.

The thing about me is that I don't do funerals. It has to be worth it for me to attend.

In 2006, my friend, another only son lost his mother and I was his chief consoler. All the praise I had for the guys at the military hospital morgue in Yaba, faded away when I saw the state of things in Atan.

By the time we got to the burial spot, the grave had not been dug. Someone pulled "strings" and things rolled into action. As they dug, I shuddered. The loose, soft earth was proof it was very fertile, but it revealed something else.

Clumps of earth sprinkled with human bones hit the ground around us. Alas, it was someone else's grave. Another tenant being evicted for not paying rent.

My friend was disconsolate. I held him.

Then after digging knee deep, they stopped and said "Oya, bring am!". They were ready to bury and close up the earths mouth. WTF!

"This is not 6 feet!" my friend wailed.

"Oga, six feet Na length!, no be depth!"

I remember getting home that night, and telling my diary (there was no Facebook then, or mobile internet) that when I retired to heaven, I'd like to be cremated. I'd like the ashes spread over places I've lived and loved. No! Don't keep me in a sealed, airtight jar on the mantelpiece. Let me soar with the wind, and run with the rivulets that form when the rain falls on a typical summers day.

On Sunday, a street buddy of mine in Akoka had a fall while playing basketball, and went unconscious. He was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital.

Yesterday, we took him to Atan.

Nothing had changed.

Oh by the way, Atan may well be the wealthiest slice of real estate in Lagos, based on investments of bricks, sand and cement.

But it was still the same. Heck! Atan must not be part of Lagos, because apparently Atan ti baje mehn.

I saw at least three human skulls, one tibia, one badly chewed femur. Chai!

I saw the Tommy boxer shorts that they buried somebody in.

I saw what looked like the leathered torso of a corpse that was tired of stinking.

And to make things even worse, the guys who had to cover the grave demanded a tip -or else.

The earth was still soft beneath my feet. Dark, languid, as if to say "Oga, I dey wait for you".

To which I replied "Yo fada! No be now!"

I didn't shed a single tear. I was too bone-jarred to care.

Someone needs to do something about Atan cemetery.

Afterthought- I forgot to mention. The place has its own Lekki. Just like real life. I guess it was the paupers portion I'd been visiting.

Romance / Re: Why A Guy Should Not Marry A Girl His Age by wjxavier(m): 9:48am On May 24, 2016
So this means that NL is now populated by kids and teen-brained fellows.

How did this ever make frontpage sef? Who MOD am?

Anyway, some of us prefer older girls because we have less emotional tantrums to manage.

You go ahead and marry a much younger girl (which shows u lack foresight anyway)...
By the time you become a viagra-popping, one minute man, madam will still be elastic like a rubber band.

NO further comments sha...but your driver should be patient. His time will come.
