Well you're doing a very shoddy job ignoring me cos I just got your mention!

Moving on, I'm sorry if my post riled you up, it was intended to be comical. Clearly it didn't come out as intended so feel free to call me a lame comedian. At any rate I apologise for my earlier comment

@wo1F: This is my suggested answer: I respect the opinion of my team leader, if there are more than one approach to solving the problem I would suggest to my team leader that we pick the approach that is safer, less time-consuming, less cost intensive, withstand unfavorable conditions and has good theoretical background.
Nice one man. But they've put you on the spot by stripping you of those options you just laid out.
Also the question doesn't suggest there is a team leader cos if there were to be one, he would've used his overiding power to arrive at a vote. But its stated they've already spent hours on it without reaching a concensus if when you offered to step down your opinion. Except you now want to take it to your supervisor. Read it again

pls frds dis was one of the interview questions i was asked and i will like to kn ow ur view abt it, i just want to learn for future sake
" you are one of a team of three, asked to execiute a job within a limited tym, but the 3 of u seems to have different approach to the job which make the team not to reach a consensors abt hw to do the job. for hours u are still arguing on which persons approach u should use, what will u do to remedy the situation considering u have limited tym. NOTE: even wen u suggested u drop ur own idea so u could make use of one of their approach, d 2 seems never to agree on the approach to use."
There's is no right or wrong way to answer this. The whole idea is for you to take them through your thought process.

For instance, I might go this way;
Since I've offered to step down my approach not because its way off but cos I see a lot of convergence in the build up to with our respective positions, I'll now have to take it further by moving to play the devil's advocate on the guy who's approach I genuinely believe to be weaker compared to the other chap.

In playing the devil's advocate, I'd pitch tent with the guy who's submission I feel is weaker but doesn't just know it, yet. This may be due to ego and his determination not to loose bragging rights to a colleague he feels he's light years ahead of in all fields of endevour.

So I will side him for the purpose testing the quality of his argument and identify weaknesses in its structure, and to use such information to abandon his original opposing position. In taking this route, I'd have taken a stance that would have been seen as unpopular or unconventional, but is actually another way of arguing a much more conventional stance without bruising the ego of any of these two gladiators. In seeing the "poverty" of his submission he'd [hopefully though] have no option but to go with a more roboust and encopassing opinion of someone that is not even me!

Agreed there would have been a little down-time with this particular approach to a compromise, it would have gone a long way to preserving the team spirit and unity which we both know is mission critical to the successful accomplishment of any team work.

My 3coins.

MadCow1:
You cant touch a company like Multichoice..

Cable TV is not part of your constitutional right. The worst the government can do is to open up a cable company. And on that front, I wish them luck. grin
Madcow you've made very valid points and I always bow to superior arguements even when its at complete variance with my position.

Now like I said, you've made very strong points, but there's no point rubbing it in people's faces. I know you're relatively well to do because I've followed you even from TEHn days, but you have to appreciate that the vast majority of your countrymen are struggling.

For me, it doesn't say much about your wisdom when you posit that its okay for DSTV to charge what they like just becos they bring a lot of content to bear. Was MTN bringing content to bear when they charged 35000 for a Sim in '02? Same Sim that is now been offered for free in the streets of Lagos today.

Also there is nothing to laugh about in HiTV's failure. I for one felt very sad for them. Their one off show put DSTV on their toes and made them open up other bouquets for Nigerians of less social class.

The hostile takeover they did was the best their analyst could do at the time and could have worked had they been bailed out by the FG. If you think any cable TV is just going stroll into the market just like that without doing something aggressive to unruffle DSTV, then you're basic economics is suspect or naïve at best.
HiTV took a gamble. And like any gamble it had a 50% chance of success. Sadly the other 50% happened.

But I'm proud their initial fight saw hundreds of thousands of Nigerian home of less social class granted access to cable television albeit diff suitable bouquet options.
PoliticsRe: Speaker Tambuwal Defects To APC by wo1F(m): 12:56am On Oct 21, 2014
Bliss4Lyfe:
Time and Time again, politicians of Northern extraction have shown themselves to be disloyal to the principles of one Nigeria. First it was Sanusi and now Tambuwal.

I can't help but look back at the many years of Northern leadership of our great nation Nigeria and the decorum with which Nigerians of all works of life, religion and tribe rallied under the banner of one Nigeria.

Politics is not entirely a game of power but unity, the unity that was hard won by the likes of Nnamdi Azikiwe and Abubakar Tafawa Balewa, may their soul rest in perfect peace.

If Northern politicians continue to show distaste and intolerance to other Nigerians in authority, then even if by a miracle APC wins an election which is highly unlikely, there will be no one Nigeria treasury to loot.

A House divided against itself cannot stand.
I'm proud of you babe. That was an articulate, robust and outrightly intelligent submission. Coming from a lady even makes it an even more awesome read.

I have always submitted that I'm not moved one bit by the sudden show of support for the All Progressive Congress (APC) by the Northerners. For me their emergency patriotism is better put to test if a credible candidate who is not a Northerner is put forward by the APC.

I have personally desired some form of change to this current political situation in this country but it is an insult to myself and my generation if I will be left with no other choice than to vote a spent General who was once a President before I was born

So, with regional voting dictating the pace, who do you think as things stand now might get out?
On the strength of tonight's result, Laveda will be toast come sunday.
SADC will be tested. Nhlanhla, JJ, Alusa are all from the SADC. We'll see how that plays out.
Ma'am bee will survive. Only WA up. So she has 9ja, GH on lock down. With 9ja's assistance (that's if GH reach out to 9ja enough) she might also carry ROA.
Premediated murder will be toast too. But sadly Nhlanhla will survive. Let's see sha
