Na wa o. Right before our own eyes, Nairaland Front page has been hijacked by terrorists. It has as a manner of speaking, gone to the dogs!

Meanwhile TheRealMrStan tell your over zealous fellow mod Lacasera to go reopen that thread. My submission there is a popular position going by the rave reviews it had gotten hence his clampdown.

Talk about impunity and highhandness!

Dear Seun Osewa,

I have noticed with dismay that the front-page
of this great forum has been hijacked by
terrorists.
Yes terrorist! Because I fail to
understand why any sane individual would
embark on an aggressive per second update
of the homepage.

The front-page of this forum used to be
revered and topics worth their salt.
Today it has totally gone to the dogs.
If you're
not convinced of this assertion, why not take
a stroll down some of those topics on FP,
you'll discover that the pages hardly go
beyond page 3. This is opposed to when as a
rule FP threads had a minimum of 20 solid
pages filled with quality and incisive
discourse.

Now go take a look at what's happening to
those threads your 'boys' put out there, its a
real mess. I just dey shake my head
throughout today. I no fit read any of those
topics.

I expect you to solve some of the nagging
problems we've been experiencing such as
those posed by the Space Bookers Association
of Nairaland otherwise known as SBA.N.
But all you've done in effect is help spread
their ministry.

In closing I want to urge you to as a matter of
urgency revert to the old system where
threads where allowed to mature at the
section level before been pushed forward to
the homepage.
This will amongst other things
help to;

1) Cut drastically the activities of Nairaland
members as pages would have progressed
way beyond page 1 and its direction of
discourse already clearly established. This na
serious check against Nairaland members
who are not interested in discourse of any
sort.

2) Modelling the direction as well as
improving the content of thread discourse.

3) Ultimately keeping your premium
members who are very highly placed people
of corporate Nigeria but who still find time to
drop in on your little web due the quality of
some posters submissions.

I know say you dey find money as evidenced
by your recent search for a paid supermod,
but please don't sacrifice content for some
mediocre gain that won't even last.

Cheers bro.
Bro na wa o. You could have atleast cited the source of this post rather than pass it off as your original work.
That is stealing.
Worse still, I'm still alive.

Anyway help spread the info hopefully the folks concerned would do the needful.

For the first time in my life, I actually want to purchase a memoir written by a Nigerian politician.
Talk about sensationalism! grin From Tinubu to GEJ...this book is causing ripples
Well its not the first sensational memoir to have made the waves since the return of civil rule.

I implore you to check out Segun Adeniyi's "Politics, Power and Death". Its as thought provoking as it is incisive.
Also in that league is El Rufai's "Accidental Public Servant" - a mind blowing expose by the Mallam as he was never afraid to name names.
Not a fan of these guys, but boy! what other way to master the tricks to grasping the laws of Leadership, Power and Deceit than learning first hand from the experiences of these evil geniuses.

OBJ has my interest with this his rave of the moment book. So that's one more sure memoir to my library.

some guys genuinely want to take the leap but they have no funds to carry out their desires thus the wait......

guys are not always at fault in this. sometimes, you women often date your agemates thus the disconnect. at 25, most nigerian women are ripe for marriage. 90% of nigerian men aren't ready to marry at 25 cos they are still struggling.
Cooger you're so spot on. As men we can't keep up with our agemates in this marriage business.
May God help my girlfriend and I. We're both 24.

igbos are just diametrically senseless. igbo's open display of love is so fake. An igbo girl called my line after the end of the phone conversation the igbo guy that was with me asked "she's from which part of East?" I said Owerri, shouted "tufiakwua" by the time he finished with Owerri, I quickly deleted the girl's No. He said Owerri girl, will bring over all her family and never allow any of my family, etc. that she will look for every way to kill me to posses my wealth. He said Eboyi are worse, poverty stricken fetish people. He said Anambra wive always love to dominate their husband, he said Enugu people r poor n lazy etc. He said his people, Abia, r the only good people. I concluded that even if they seceed from Nigeria, they'll surely end up killing/ exterminating themselves within a short time in inter-clan wars. I'm so proud to be Yoruba!
Hahaha.

Your friend's analysis wan tear my intestine with laff grin grin
But you why sef run delete the babe number just like that without as much as giving the babe the benefit of doubt? I hope you see a pattern here. We're all guilty of this cancer called Nepotism

From my submission you can now see that we're all diametrically senseless when it comes into inter tribal marriage.
