If there is any doubt about Jonathan's eligibility, the DOCTRINE OF NECESSITY has already taken care of that. Or why do you think the National Assembly came up with that amendment to our constitution. Jonathan will contest and he will win IJN. Somebody say AMEN. |
You want to strike Jonathan and his government at this critical time to discredit him thereby giving the opposition another flimsy reason why they want him voted out. If this is not your reason , why now? |
IF YOU TRY, YOU CAN. IF YOU DON'T, YOU WON'T. Don't put the cart before the horse. |
The Forum contended that it would be “offensive to rudimentary concept of justice” should new states be created on the basis of equality without consideration for land mass, population or economic viability. “After all, injustice is not only when equals are treated unequally, but also when unequal (s) are treated equally.” Please may I know the criteria that was used to create the twelve (12) states in 1966 by the Northerners. Eastern Region was split into three to satisfy their agenda and not for the reasons given above. After the war, states became gold mines and again they had their way by splitting the North into as many states and local government areas as they want. I am fed up with this one Nigeria thing. WHY DON'T THEY DECLARE THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NORTHERN NIGERIA. And leave us alone to manage our affairs. Pleeeeaaaassse. |
QMark: Because we have every right to know about the character, inclinations, morality, precedents, antecedents, everything about the man that wants to be the president of Nigeria. Or is the question too difficult? You can even help him if you like. |
To be used for what? Looks like fishing vessels to me. |
honourhim:You are correct. But since the Igbos have no candidate for this post for now, who among the two major contenders should they side? It's not like turning the other cheek but making Jonathan to appreciate their regard for him. One good turn deserves another not to talk of two good turns. |
Peter Angelina. This doesn't sound Nigerian to me. No other info? |
Actually I don't believe that Buhari posted this trash. Someone should advise him to refute it. On the other hand, if he doesn't ,let him make it his campaign MANTRA and see the percentage of votes he will get. |
Politics in Nigeria is the highest paying business for now. See how Dollars and Naira are being spent just for people to get elected. Father Christmas? No way. There must be returns (with profit ) on 'investment '.In other climes, service and good name means more to them than off loading their nation's treasury. I weep for my country. |
There is no smoke without fire. The 'rumour' of Buhari picking Amechi must have been seriously considered by APC for it to have spread like wildfire. Maybe from the instant negative reactions opposing such a pair, especially through the internet, the leadership has to come up with the denial. For all I care, whoever becomes Buhari's running mate will not change anything. We should allow Mr. President to continue with the good work he is doing. The change some people are clamoring for may not necessarily be for good. Didn't somebody say that there must be change -FOR GOOD OR FOR BAD ? |
Nigeria is never in short supply of good motivational speech writers. Good political campaign promises have also not been our problem. We've heard them all before from Tafawa Balewa to Jonathan. Governing is not a one man show except by military fiat which no longer obtains. If and if this man is elected can he withstand the APC CABAL that will surround him? Some of these people we already know the stuff they are made of. Again, defeating Jonathan will not be easy. |
See mature, responsible senior citizens with decorum. No carrying of party symbol (umbrella) unlike the other party that is always displaying theirs in every gathering. |
There is this Chinese saying that a picture is worth more than a thousand words. Without being personal, but that picture is like saying 'For the good old time sake'.I may be wrong though. |
And you think that the person spending the dollars is a Father Christmas. All these politicians are business men who must always demand returns on investment. Nigerians should brace up for more serious looting of our treasury especially if Aso Rock has a new tenant. I'd rather settle for the 'devil' I know than the one I don't know. |
No matter what anyone says, OBJ disobeyed a court order restraining him from publishing his autobiography yet. Please lawyers advice me. Can his actions be justified in any aspect of law. In his haste to pollute the air before next year's elections, he committed the very offence he was noted for during his tenure : DISREGARD FOR THE RULE OF LAW. And now he is playing the Saint. Please allow Jonathan and others to do the work for which we elected him. You've had your turn. |
Slatemsk:And 28 days standby ] |
I've said it before and I repeat :Agbaje represents Positive Change for Lagos State. Don't mind the other much mouthed 'change'. Fortunately, I have my PVC. |
A stitch in time,..................... ........................ |
I had always been non chalant about queuing under rain or shine to cast my vote. It never really bothered me who runs or wins. But with the emergence of Jay Kay as the potential governor of Lagos state, the least I can do is to VOTE for him on election day and make sure my vote counts. Definitely there's going to be a POSITIVE CHANGE. Not the other much touted 'change'. |
Authobiography indeed. Is the book about Obasanjo or about Jonathan? This man should thank his stars that someone like Buhari didn't take over from him. He would have vomited all our money he embezzled. Instead of appreciating Jonathan condoning his misdeeds, he is trying to pull him down -as if his presidency was better. |
Meanwhile, the gladiators for next year's general elections are emerging. I think the parties should concentrate more on how to sell their manifesto to the electorate instead of these baseless accusations and counter accusations. |
So? |
The bad state of Aba township is enough reason to disqualify this man from contesting any elective office. Is this the best PDP can offer? |
Ofcourse I know that my model of Gionee will not be among.Otherwise........... |
He's campaigning for the APC presidential primary election. However, what can he really offer Nigeria. CHANGE is not a MANIFESTO. |
Maybe they are now short of brain washed human beings. Their days are numbered. |
Happy Birthday Pastor. God is really using you to touch lives. Remain blessed. |
A fairly old woman carrying IED in a food flask to kill innocent people. I don't understand what is happening anymore. Infact I'm speechless. How then do we fight this 'war '? I pity Mr President. Anyone saying that the security issue is due to lack of purposeful leadership wants to score a cheap political point. And 'CHANGE' is not a MANIFESTO on how to resolve this issue. |
Since when has PROSTRATION become POLITICS in Yoruba culture/tradition. I thought it is a sign of respect to the elders whether one wants to make a request or not. The fact is that I don't see Baba abandoning PDP for whatever reason. And he knows it. |
And if any of them decamp after the primary election what will happen? Sue him, expel him ( he's already out ) or what. People don't usually decamp with 'good eye '.I didn't know that political parties are cults. Hm I wonder. |
What, for God's sake, is happening in the North of Nigeria? |
