Well done Chief Dokpesi and Barrister Anyanwu. This is the party I believe will give APC a good fight come 2019. I must definitely register as a card carrying member and I hope people that want real change will do same. Please they should include in their Manifesto : restructuring, true federalism and doing away with the Military Constitution that is lopsided. A referendum should be a must if they really want to save this country. |

The worst atrocity a man can commit in the face of the earth.. shame When you are challenged, beaten and pressed to the limit of your endurance, you fight back with anything you have - including bare hands. Ojukwu did not declare war. Gowon did. If he did, as a first class soldier, he would have planned adequately. He just wanted his people to be left alone to manage their lives. Is that a crime? |

If only the South is as united as the North! But no. The opportunity was lost during 1967-70. Maybe Tinubu and the West are now realizing the real mentality of their ally. For all I care, the Igbo have had their own experience. Waiting to see how the North and the West who depend on Government handouts will sort themselves out. |

President Muhammadu Buhari received the girls on Sunday night, expressing delight over their release which he described as a pleasant second anniversary gift to the people of Nigeria.
Speaking while hosting them at his official residence at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, he said: “I cannot express in a few words how happy I am to welcome our dear girls back to freedom. “On behalf of all Nigerians, I will like to share my joy with you, your parents, your relatives, friends and government of Borno State on regaining your freedom.
“The Federal Government will like to commend the security agencies, the Red Cross, local authorities, local and foreign NGOs and all those who contributed in one way or another to secure the release of our Chibok Girls.” I have a hunch that someone is saying all these on behalf of Buhari (as usual). Was it not that very night that he was flown back to London for his serious medical situation. Building Nigeria is synonymous to building the Tower of Babel and Britain is the benefiary of the cacophony. |

The Senate, Tuesday, suspended the confirmation process for two weeks within which they demanded Mr. Magu’s sack.
But Mr. Sagay was reported by Punch on Wednesday to have said: “That action is childish and irresponsible. Do they think Buhari is a man that can easily be threatened? My God! How can people of such character occupy the highest legislative office in the country? Nigeria is finished.
“It is a great mistake and they will regret it.” So Buhari should disband the Senate, suspend the Constitution ( as in 1984) and set up a Supreme Ruling Council with the Itsey Sagays as members. The Magus can then be appointed to enforce their decrees. |

Oga Falana, " Even the devil can quote the Bible " to convince /confuse its audience. Same with the Constitution. Comptroller General of Customs is a rank NOT a political post. Just as the Chief of Army Staff, and other service chiefs are ranks and wear uniforms, the Ministers of Defence, Police Affairs, etc may not. Unless Alli wants to be addressed as the Minister of Custom Affairs, he cannot eat his cake and have it. If he feels belittled by wearing Customs uniform but likes/enjoys the the goodies that come with the office, he should resign . But why should Buhari cause this problem by appointmenting a retired Army Colonel to head the Customs Services whose rank and file, I'm sure, are not happy. Or are they? |
