“If the Niger-Delta region eruptsIf the in crisis and the Igbos in the South-East return to the old antics and decide to secede, what happens to the North that can only contribute between three to five per cent to the economy of Nigeria? “Is it not a fact that Boko Haram is a Northern insurgency that is linked to the Northern elements, but now being used to blackmail President Goodluck Jonathan? Will it surprise anyone if the Niger-Delta people of the South- South and the Igbos in the South-East call the bluff of the North and secede?” If the Niger Delta people and the Igbos in the South East secede, the Yoruba in the South West will then do what? Ally with the North and force them back as in 1967 or secede as well? I |
vision2050:What exactly do you mean? |
All you worshipers of the hero of APC, you ain't seen anything yet. E go clear una for eye. Baba attends, you try to twist it to your advantage. He doesn't attend, you'll do the same. Haba! |
How much were the mothers paid? And what is the significance of this gesture? That Buhari loves Igbo babies? Yarn me another story story. |
LRNZH:So you think that by Ekwueme's declaration, the SE will now massively vote for your hero. Fa fa fa foul. In the absence of any other choice, among the two presidential candidates, voting for one means voting AGAINST the other. I'll vote against your 'hero' for obvious reasons and not necessarily for J. |
kyrbabe:EXACTLY. |
Luckily, elections are not won on newspaper pages or by e-worriors (which APC are experts in ), but by the number of votes garnered by each candidate. I know Jonathan has TRIED MORE THAN ANY OTHER NIGERIAN LEADER especially considering the type of opposition he has had to contend with right from the inception of his presidency. |
halmeyd:Incidentally the The Niger Delta has other Groups, Congresses, Associations etc that don't buy MEND's idea. With all the training and monies showered on the likes of Gbomo Jomo & Co, how have they helped, in their own ways to 'EMANCIPATE' their people. They should be ashamed of themselves for what they are saying against their own. They don't know where the rain started beating them. |
LRNZH:If wishes were horses, beggars would ride. Stop day dreaming. |
Very considerate of him. After all, he is human, politics notwithstanding. |
The wife should be thanking God instead of being envious. |
Harmvirus:Use your imagination. How do you think the mother will react? |
He should tell his mother what the girl wants and let the two women sort it out between themselves. |
ORAFA:VOX POPULI, VOX DEI. (The voice of the people Is the voice of God ). And by extension, the Vote of the people............................. |
To balance the equation, I expect Osinbajo to attend a Moslem Juma'a thanksgiving service with his bible in his hands. If he does that, I'll know that they are serious. |
The critically-injured APC members were from ward six of Khana Local Government Area, Rivers State. Following the developments the affected were rushed to the hospital. I thought a Local Government is made up of towns, while towns are made up of wards. 'ward six of Khana LGA' ? Hmm I don't know what to believe again o o. |
At a time like this, with the US shunning our oil, with our foreign reserve evaporated, with Boko Haram abducting, maiming and slaughtering victims as they please, etc etc etc, one would expect this year's elections to have an illuminating effect, a winnowing moment. You'd expect politicians to speak seriously about these crises, to proffer considered solutions, and to map roadways to a different, more hopeful future. Instead, the politicians are strutting the length and breadth of the country in festive mode, their agbada more suited to inebriated excess than to work, their speech alternating between pompous self-inflation and infantile denunciation of their opponents and threats of what will happen if they lose. May God save Nigeria from this crop of politicians. |
I DO NOT BELIEVE THIS NEWS or whatever it is. So there is a platoon of female soldiers sent to fight Boko Haram or what is their mission in a war zone. Intelligence gathering? In uniform? |
VoteOutPDPJona:He should then leave the pulpit and do like the Osinbajos. |
See them begging beggars for their votes. Elect him into office and his convoy escorts will whip these same electorate out of the way. Hypocrites. |
Amaechi should realize that, at least, for now, there is a government IN CHARGE in Nigeria and if he runs foul of law, he must be held accountable. He can't just be saying anything anyhow all in the name of opposition. Mtchwww |
Ofcourse they 'protected' the Christians and had pity on them. If not, you would have seen BOKO HARAM in action. |
2015, you are welcome. And may our desperate politicians not mess up your goodness and happiness. |
O Lord, please have mercy on your children and may 2015 be plane-crash free IJN ,AMEN. May the souls of the dead RIP. |
What's the connection between being a vice Presidential candidate and posing with celebrities. What EXACTLY is his point. That he is popular? I'm not impressed at all. As a Christian he should be telling us how he intends putting a stop to the Boko Haram agenda instead of showing off. |
Misogynist2014:Are you a lawyer or a lier? Read the mother's statement very well. The man was unclad, blood, fluid and #1m settlement. What other evidence do you want. I wish the minor is your sister. |
Is this the type of 'change' they have in stock for us? Has this added any value to the recharge cards?Instead, they hope to make profit from the scheme just like they hope to do from the Nigeria Project. Nigerians, vote wisely. |
It is not so much as he WILL not probe as he CANNOT probe past leaders. The day he dreams of such action (assuming he wins), he will know that in a democracy, IMPEACHMENT is the equivalent of a COUP by the military and he will have a taste of it. |
If only the Nigerian Army will use the same zeal, enthusiasm and "o o oshebe e e" that were used to defeat Biafra and force it back to Nigeria, BOKO HARAM would have been a thing of the past. What has happened to the good old Nigerian Army? I hate to think that it a house divided among itself. Please C-IN-C do something. Remember, the Buck stops on your table |
If only the Nigerian Army will use the same zeal, enthusiasm and "oooshebe e e "that was used to defeat Biafra and force it back to Nigeria, BH would have been a thing of the past. What has come over the good old Nigerian Army. I fear to think that it is a house divided among itself. Please C-in-C do something |
There is no country in this world that doesn't have challenges. HIGHLIGHTING Nigeria's own out of proportion isn't going to make me an ally with the opposition. Instead I'll sympathise with the government for all it has to contend with. People have been making fantabulous election promises since Adam but when it comes to doing, it's a different ball game. Personally I am not in bondage in my country -challenges or no challenges. |
So Northern pastors are now into politics supporting APC. Jonathan is no longer a worthy Christian abe? Narrow minded people who don't know what is at stake. |
