Rotimi Amaechi is Igbo and the DG of the presidential campaign committee. For starters, the amount in question is chicken feed to him. With this donation from him, who says the Igbo is not topping the list. This man must be probed seriously after his tenure.

So this is the reasoning capacity of the people that want govern us. Boko Haram has told you what they want and you are blaming poverty in order to spite JONA. Where is there no poverty in Nigeria. And your oga will chase away BH and their poverty-striken members. Tell us another tales by moonlight.

These generals have had their chance but couldn't fix Nigeria. Allow others to try. And I know Jonathan is really trying.

So if eventually the contributions exceeds JONA's, he will reject it abe. Give me a break. My people have a saying : When a smart intelligent boy gathers more firewood than his peers, some will enviously say that he fetched them from the evil forest. I didn't know that 'Poverty' is a virtue. Tell Nigerians what you have for them not 'what you don't have' (money)

There is no South as a block. It's SE, SS and SW. The day the South truly unites as a block and speaks with one voice (as the North is wont to do) it's bye bye to Nigeria . A southern Northern ally has always divided the South. Pity.

According to the Sharia legal system, this under age girl is already guilty having been deemed of age in the first instance. Assuming our normal law court also finds her guilty, it will require either the president or a governor to sign the death warrant. Or will Sharia enforce their law without government approval? Which president or governor will sign such warrant for an under age EXCEPT it is in tandem with his/her believe (SHARIA).Please does Sharia law obtain in the USA. Let us assume that APC gets the presidency, they will undo everything Jonathan has achieved in the name of CHANGE. Continuity and Change are mutually exclusive. Are there no commendable things that Jonathan has done that they will build on IF......

Please why not challenge the message instead of abusing the messenger. Is there any substance in what this man wrote to his friend that is worth contemplating. Look ! campaign has started and we need more of these expose to help us choose our leaders. Not biased, sentimental, jargoned rantings.

Nigeria cannot continue with this type of animosity and then hope to achieve greatness. Will power returning to the North affect crude oil price, the value of the Naira, pacify Boko Haram, create jobs, and resolve all the other problems facing Nigeria? Their leadership of this country is the major reason we are in this sorry state. I doubt if they have a genuine plan for developing the country short of "It is our turn to RULE and control the treasury as we have been doing since Britain handed over Nigeria to us Northerners"
Or is the unity of Nigeria not by force and because some people benefit more therefrom?

It took the APC 4 days to AGREE (though some half heartedly) on the VP candidate. Let's assume that they get the presidency come 2015. What happens. About 2 years will be wasted trying to form a government that will satisfy all their STAKEHOLDERS. They will condemn everything Jonathan has done thereby throwing away the baby with the birth water.By the time they are through, 3 years are gone. Has the president really not done commendable things which they can build on IF............ I pray they don't win.

What does it mean, what does it take to be the DIRECTOR GENERAL of the presidential campaign organisation? After losing out as VP CANDIDATE is this the best Amaechi can ask for or is it like he has no choice? I am tempted to think that he is being used. I thought the man is smart.

What about Alex Ekwueme. This is how some people will be talking through their anus. Ekwueme, the vice president was put in Kirikiri Maximum Prison whereas the president, Shehu Shagari was put under house arrest with all presidential amenities at his disposal. And who carried out this outrageous injustice? If you were not born then, ask those who were around. Ethnic bigot.

Honestly, I am disappointed by Amaechi's political calculations. I hope he survives it when all is said and done.

See how smart our politicians are. They throw the 'religion bone' to the masses to keep them busy and possibly deceive even the very elite while their focus is our treasury. This people are ready to do ANYTHING that will give them power. We experimented with this pastor thing in 2011 and it didn't work. They should have gone for the GO of one of the churches again and let's see what happens. The Presidential candidate should be our focus and not his spare Tyre unless they already know what we don't know.

As if choosing a running mate to the presidential candidate is a big deal. Drawing unnecessary attention to themselves. They have already put their best foot forward.Their choice of VP candidate ain't gonna change anything.

So many Advocates already handling the case for their 'client'. Why not allow ICC to do their investigation. After all, a clear conscience fears no accusations. Go and ask Uhuru Kenyatta of Kenya.

I will strongly plead with our media houses to organize well publicised presidential and vice presidential debates before the elections. I am sure I'm not the only person that has some serious questions for the two major contenders. Then and only then will I decide whom to vote for. I am not a sentimental voter.
