Things are too hard. Many men are struggling to feed themselves alone talk more of adding a woman and a child.

As economy becomes more and more men lose interest in marriage and worse of it is that we are in a society where there Is nothing for the female gender.

I feel for my female counterparts Walai. You see them go through same school stress with us men but when they get to the job market they are priced far less than what men earns. I can understand men give more energy to work but what is the rationale of paying a male staff 100k but giving a lady with same qualification 25k.

It's bad and this is one of the reasons most women cannot fend for themselves Or break anything to marriage because the society puts them at our mercy.

Pathetic
This is the true reality of things

You overdid it.

You saw the signs yet refused to take actions

Don't worry. She will suffer and never excel in life. Go and mark it. That the best she can ever get in life is how she left you. Her life will deteriorate badly and consistently, it is then that she will return to beg you in tears and shame

Not really sha because no body has shown interest despite my outreach but I know the right person will still show but I thought it would be fast grab for boys. By the way, i can not imagine a young man between 18 and 30 not having a sizable particular job as a career and I see a lot of boys and majority I don't see them going to work but sure I wrong even though, to me I think anybody can be working and still do yahoo or working online at the same time. I was once a "yahoo boy" but was never feeling comfortable with just sitting inside house year after year.

Physical labor is very important but few may know
Many of them would learn this late in life.

" Physical labor is very important but few may know "

The desire to be flashy and soft without work is fast becoming the new endemic we have as a society. People want to look just cute and soft without anything life work attached with their profile/personality.

This trend begins at the top of our society and trickles across the entire length and breadth of our society. Take a good look at BB Naija, Nollywood and music industry stars for example.

It's always about the glam for these folks. I've always seen guys like Ozo and White Money for example always in flashy pics of themselves without any hints of " work inspired actions in their photo ops "

But check out people like Tobi. Whenever Tobi takes pictures, it's always with reference to work.

Girls are.doing great. They fill up training centers, be it fashion, catering, sales, cooking etc.

Young boys today between 18 and 27 are struggling to win the contest of who can tie weed the best. In my area, almost 250 young boys gather, wearing socks, smoke weed, dance and chatter from dusk till dawn. It's so bad that they come from areas they take 2-3 transport services to converge.

Who has cursed us ? What type of generation of men are we breeding for the next 20-40 years ? The ladies are fast overtaking boys with hard work potential. The boys hate they work, should they get engaged in employment, they resign within a months finding almost ten million reasons to discontinue working

I pray Tinubu last 8 years as President - so that Nigerians will be so hard hit by afflictions that a competent Efik man or Igbo man can defeat an indigene of Sokoto in Sokoto or Kano in Kano

Suffer must teach us sense in Nigeria

let the ignorant tribalists and those using religion as a tool of electoral sentiments and their sympathizers perish in hunger and lack so that what is left will be sane people who vote with their brains intact and will be willing to die on election day to protect their votes

we will get there - nothing last forever

Let the suffering continue

People are getting wise now.
If people keep getting needlessly suspicious of one another. Who then suffers ?

In the end of the day, cynism destroys and damages human relations along with benefits that could have come out of good relationships.

The fear of betrayal is causing as great harm as betrayal itself. The balance is somewhere in between. Today I've touched atleast a combined sum of 20-30 M in my field of trade. It was a Nairalander I befriended some years back who met me when I was dying and broke that shared tips with me. What if our friendship didn't occur how would I not have died from the hardships I faced.

Humans need one another. The over glorification of these kinds of stories ruins potentially good relationships

True. But also try to recruit people with no knowledge and build them up by training them for the roles you want them to fit into. This is how I've been hiring for years. Sadly. When they see how well they've developed, most times, they hurry to resign

I realized I’ve had very few fake wannabe friends
Reason is cos I cut them off before they could get to me
This is the reason why spirit of discernment is good
With the help of the Holy Spirit you can always tell when someone is fake and would hurt you in the nearest future
I saw these signs, cut them off and then they came back at me by attacking my mom
I was confused cos my mum ain’t their mate so why attacking the woman?!
Then I realized the envy all along

There’s one my ex course mate I reunited with the drug addict
We were chatting well
Then I complemented her that she’s adding too much weight and she needed to work on herself
I told her I understand cos it was Covid-19 period and everyone was locked in and getting fat

Omorr you needed to see the way this werey attacked me o
Saying no wonder my status nowadays focused around weight gain and fat people
That im body shaming her
That do I have a serious boyfriend? Talk more of husband?
No manner of insult this Igbo smoke dint give me

I reminded her that she was hurling insults at me meanwhile she is older than me with almost 5 years and still single asf…
Meanwhile I was to be engaged soon… she was still shocked and processing the info

Then I blocked her sorry ass.

She’s in her late 20’s now and still single asf and struggling…she used to sleep around in school so no one takes her serious….

Her story long, always missing lectures, I was taking notes for her and always defending her while others gossiped bout her in class
She later dropped out of med school…
I really regretted reuniting with her….
Hahaha. You made my day. I like the way you write.

something like this happened to me too, I had to cut the guy of and anyone I knew through him cos thats how he has influence over me. He was a very competitive jealous soul that saw everything as competition. Even cult that he joined was to belong as he felt insecure. How can someone make a life-changing decision like entering Cult just to outshine another person.
