Since naira is not a stable currency we have do the calculation with the value of a stable currency against the naira which is dollar.

In 2008 the average naira to dollar exchange rate was #117 per dollar. #50000 divided by #117 per dollar = $427.

To get the new value we multiply $427 by the current dollar to naira rate of #1560 pe

So that #50,000 is worth about #666,000 in our today's economy.

Mynd44.

Using Gold instead as the US dollar has also depreciated within the said timeframe. (The USD has lost over 100% of its value from 2008 till date)

1 gram of gold in 2008 averages $28.02; that's 3,276 Naira.
1 gram of gold today is $107 which equals 166,902 Naira.

If 1 gram of gold in 2008 is 3,276 Naira; 50k naira will buy you 15.26 gram of gold.

Using today's rate you need 2,553,876 Naira to buy the same amount of gold (15.26g).

Basically, 50k Naira of today is worth 2.5m

A few things can cause this...

Thanks Bro. Will the exact thing show up in a scan or I’ll just work on all of them until it stops?

Car gurus in the house please help.

My car (C300 2010) starts to vibrate when I start accelerating.

Had someone look at it, he said it either the tyres or shocks. How true is this?

The top 10 or so comments in this thread are the exact reasons Nigeria is regressing.

You see someone risking limb and life for common pineapples; the least you can do is show empathy.

If you’re going to be political then be wise and address the real problem. I’m pretty sure Baba wouldn’t be stealing pineapples if he had 1k to eat that day.

What do you guys make of Putin’s speech on Bitcoin? (Check Bitcoinmagazine)

For me, It’s a good indicator of things to come but its too early to get excited.

The one thing that may or may not trigger another bull run is the SEC report on Crypto to be released in the coming weeks.

Another major event to look out for, is the ruling on the XRP and SEC case. (Ripple appears to be winning at the moment).

If this last two event comes out favorable for crypto. Bitcoin will pass $100k this year!

Service A is Oil change, service B is brake pad inspection wheel balance and rotation, alignment, inspection of P/S fluid, Brake fluid, Battery Level, Coolant level, exterior and interior lights checks etc. It's a 20,000 miles service.

Thanks man. After working on all these does the prompt go away on its on or it has to be reset manually?

Help my Dash(c300) is showing service B due in 10 days.

Serviced with Mobil 1 and changed oil filter. it’s still showing.

A road side kezeem says it’s gear box servicing how true is this?

Good evening, please I’d love to know if it’s normal for light white smoke to come out from the hood of my car (c300 2010) each time I pass through water?? It doesn’t happen on a when driving on a dry road. I checked and it seems to be coming from the fan/ radiator area.
