This election has clearly shown that the NW/NE have fraternal hatred for SE. How else can you explain the very low projection given to Obi there. SW are very Liberal as Obi is doing Fairly well even with BAT on the table.

The SE voted for Yaradua from NW in 2007, and Atiku from NE in 2019. My question is why is there such hatred for Obi from the core North?

Niger state doesn't have as much voters as Benue, Plateau and nasarawa.

I see Atiku winning Niger.

Plateau, Nasarawa and Benue are th largest voting bloc in NC. Anybody who does well there is really going home with the region

After the APC primaries, APC did their political permutations based on religion and deemed it fit that northern Christians do not have the political might to pull votes for them against Atiku. That was a miscalculation.
Their thoughts, most likely, must have been that northern Christians will follow the bandwagon of their campaign based on regional affiliation. APC overlooked the widening religious Cracks in the north. They seem not to understand the realiities on ground.

At this point, they were underestimating Peter obi capabilities. APC's would have been thinking that Peter obi would never get what it takes to penetrate the northern voters. Fortunately for Peter Obi, he saw the loophole and then capitalized on it.

Majority of Northern Christians are going to vote for Peter Obi, Peter obi is the only political Favourable option for an average northern Christian. They are going to vote against Islamic dominance. Religion is a very senti tive matter in the north and the only candidate that seem to fit the interests of Northern Christians is Peter Obi.

This is why Peter Obi is most likely to flaw any candidate in Benue, plateau and Abuja and get substantial votes in Nasarawa, Adamawa , Kaduna and Taraba. He will also manage to steal votes in Southern Gombe and Borno.

People flaunt Tinubu as a political strategist, I think it's a hype. His strategy is money. Muslim-Muslim ticket was a political suicide. This ticket is also one of the many reasons why Peter Obi will steal votes from Tinubu in southwest.

I am sure that by now no sane APC member is underestimating Peter Obi. They may make rhetorics on air, but deep down, they know what's going to happen.
