You can't twist reality, we all know your boss spends most of his time in Dubai. |
That handshake is the general accepted handshake in The Gambia |
Wanted to be a Revd in the Anglican Church or a footballer, later had interest in Medicine and Surgery. Thank God jamb jambed off that Medicine. Then I started writing music in my teens and even went to auditions like Star Trek where I met Ruggedy and KayCee. The music will not suffice as I developed interest in Computing. I ended up studying Computer Engineering but would later develop interest in lecturing. I couldn't get a full time lecturing job in the higher institution but spent 5 years as an instructor in a polytechnic. I'm now back to my real calling, IT services. |
omenka:You're actually the one that sounded so foolish at its peak! The words of the writer below... A win or a loss is not a favour to the different political candidates contesting. All the major candidates have got what it takes to be very comfortable until they die. They can literally afford anything they want. |
Too late... I was an hour late to my wedding. ![]() |
We had lots of experiences as kid playing so many sports. Children of these days are more interested in phone games. Mine: 1. Swell 2. Nail in clay 3. Cashew nuts 4. Matches card 5. Rubber 6. Rope jumping 7. Action movie with wood gun ![]() 8. Soccer with bottle covers 9. Hide and seek 10. Family movie with the girls. The bad guys do bad things here. I was innocent ![]() 11. Etc... Name yours |
Movic1:A simple question for you... Please mention at least one time the Yorubas or Hausa/Fulanis gave a block vote to an Igbo man in an election. 1999 and 2003: Igbos gave block vote to Obasanjo a Yoruba man even when Ojukwu was on the ballot paper. That's our instinct of a better leader, not tribalism. 2007: Igbos gave her block vote to Yaradua a Fulani man even when other Igbo names are on the ballot paper. That's our instinct of a better leader, not tribalism. 2011 and 2015: Igbos gave her block vote to an Ijaw man even when other Igbos are on the ballot paper. That's our instinct of a better leader, not tribalism. 2019: Igbos gave her block vote (95% actually) to a Fulani man even when other Igbos are on the ballot paper. That's our instinct of a better leader, not tribalism. All these years, what flies in and outside the Internet space has always been... "Igbos don't love themselves," "Igbos are their own enemies," "Igbos are not united," etc. This time, we've decided to vote an Igbo not because he's an Igbo man, but because he's perceived by many (not just Igbos) as the better option, the naysayers have turned it to "Igbos are tribalistic." Now there comes 2023, Igbos and all other tribes including Yorubas, Hausa/Fulani, Ijaw, etc... (no matter their numbers), have decided to go with PO whom they perceived as a better option as usual, some people because of reasons best known to them choose to turn it to tribalism. This is the first time since 1999 that Igbos are supporting an Igbo man. This is the first time almost all the youths are supporting this same one man. Why are you guys trying to bring tribalism into this? This tribalism narrative didn't come up all these years Igbos were supporting other tribes, why now? Again my question, can you tell me at one time when Yorubas have given an Igbo man just 5% of her votes? |
Vaughanlanrewaj:See what you're spitting at your age.... |
They're forming active now because the insecurity is approaching them there already in Abuja, what have they done all these while when almost every part of the country has been very hot for ordinary man. Buhari goes no where, make dem follow chop from the |
When Barca got humiliated. With Lewa in Barca, I see Messi returning to Barca before Feb 2023. This I have seen. |
Zanzibar1:I understand your plight bro... but I'm just wondering how you survive with 18k in a month. Highest I can manage 18k on my food alone is 2 weeks. Let me tell you, if you're waiting for money or laptop to learn a skill you might wait far longer. I learned Web design 10 years ago with Nokia 3110c with partial screen damage and a notebook. I was using Etisalat then because they give me 10Mb on every #100 recharge. So, I'll use that 10mb to visit tizag, w3school, and nairaland webmaster section. As I'm learning html, css, etc, I'll be writing it down on a notebook. I got a laptop after nysc, then I started practicing. Today, I sub 120GB/month of which I exhaust in less than a month most times. The time and data you spend on social media and nairaland can be channeled to a site where you'll learn a digital skill. There are many of them. Forget video tutorials, go for written content. Remember, 90% of Americans are doing what they don't have passion for to put food on their tables and pay bills. Where am I driving at? learn a skill even if you don't have passion for it. Make the money and then follow your passion. Don't take this advice for granted. |
Headline sounded as if the guy is leaving Nottingham for Union Berlin after 28 days. ![]() |
Approximately 5k on family of 4 adults. That's feeding alone. Things are costly but thank God for side hustle. |
GreatBoss:So, GEJ gave them the jobs that's why Igbos voted GEJ? Interesting, I didn't know an aspirant can appoint ministers in Nigeria. Just learned a new thing. But what are we to do with this information now? |
jumper524:It's not, search for it on Twitter. |
Toluwanise247:Actually, it's not about the party but about the candidate. 99% of the people supporting Obi were never part and parcel of LP. I for one don't care about party, I'll vote for Osinbajo or Fashola in APC or PDP or any "mushroom" party. People are angry how things have deteriorated in the past few years... It's undeniable that there's global economic crisis but we are having it worst here. Imaging a litre of kerosene is N800 when we are blessed with the raw material. Mind you, no matter who wins, you and I will bear the consequences. Yorubas or Igbos won't be buying PMS at N600 while Hausas buy at N100. We all will pay the same amount. So, forget party, we are more interested in the candidate. |
I'm just seeing "stolen" without any mention of who owns or where he stole the money from. Even the converted which is of Nepal oil, there's no clear mentioning of who owns the company and who sued the guy. Maybe is one of the oga's properties. N50m is less than 15% of what the young man "converted + (stolen from thin air)." |
Saw the below image on Facebook, I don't pray for that though.

Same people |
Okay. So that he'll have time to settle ASUU strike first before the party. |
Elon Musk on the beat |
If they can intervene and have the strike called off, that will be a big plus for them and a right move. Much more better than sharing 2k or sachet of salt. |
But you left part of that statement... “That is my serious concern for him. Ordinarily, if I cannot get it, I can recommend him but it’s going to be like building something on zero. |
Buy you left part of that statement... “That is my serious concern for him. Ordinarily, if I cannot get it, I can recommend him but it’s going to be like building something on zero. |
Frigga13:I don't think everything should be about tribalism. One random guy made a post, even if he's an Igbo guy, it doesn't make it right to lump a whole tribe into it. |
Kilode ? |
This karma na very quick one |

Where was this confession recorded? The criminal's hideout or police station? If its the later, then what's the flag doing there? When do criminals start dressing up in cell? The guy's boldness and compartment is it for me. Looks like someone telling stories |
iwatchandlisten:He fulfilled them and ushered us into the dispensation of grace. But if you still want to keep the laws, make sure you keep all and not a few, otherwise you'll be attracting a curse. Christ confirmed it even before he fulfilled the law. Mathew 23:23 So, if you pay tithe, make sure you keep all other laws to avoid curses. |
