emmanuelewumi: FBN was projected @ N13.5 by Capital Bancorp, @ N13.0 by FBN Securities @emmanuelewumi. i guess it's time for me to get back in. I got out of FBN at 7 Naira after making a modest profit. I was expecting GTB share price to drop due to the Innoson saga. I guess their results will tell if their business was negatively affected. |

Daboomb: Dont spoil that your nice Lexus, just because of saving a few thousand Naira! Consider your Shock absorbers since Tiles are very dense and heavy articles, especially on this our bad roads. It is not about space, it is about what it wil do to that nice vehicle.
Go to Orile, you will get good prices and assorted types but please dont transport them in your personal vehicle. I concur. The floor/wall tiles are very heavy and will put a lot of stress on your car. Consider that most of them are ceramic and the bad roads that we have. I hired a ‘911’ Lorry to transport mine. I can show you the pics |

Daboomb: Chairman easy now, u too vex! See as you do 'finishing' for our contractors!! Thing is, it is easier to "deal brutally" with a single person who is a Novice, when you 'corner the person on WhatsApp'... than to let other "sharp minds" listen-in on the conversation!
No one can do anything to any Contractor who does the "see me on WhatsApp" trick, the Client is the one who still has to ensure they seek enough "independent and relevant information", before agreeing to anything on WhatsApp.
The thing about this forum is that it has helped all Contractors to gain Clients, some of whom they would not have met anywhere else but it is strange that once established, some now turn around to think the forum is not good enough for pricing discussions.
Source the Geese, Source the Gander, as we say in ijebu language.
Aventures, l am sure he did not call your name or anyone's name or when did your name become "Nairalander"?
Though l understand that the "roforofo" scatter reach your side small , being a contractor!
I would rather advocate "fair pricing" between all concerned so that the Contractor gets good value for his 'sweat' and the Clients too get good value for money spent. @Daboomb. I like your suggestion of fair pricing between the contractor and client. Pricing should be the same for us local guys and for people who are abroad. I have been burned by contractors(via excessive charges) on nairaland and have also gained a lot of knowledge from contractors and clients on this forum. |

Even to allocate prepaid meters is a huge problem even when users have actually requested and paid for such. @bixton. That's the idea. Only to reap profits. I still have not received my prepaid meter that I've paid for over 3 years now. spyder880: Structurally, the membrane can trap more moisture inside the decking slab after casting, aiding the curing of the concrete.
Economically, the membrane can ensure the concrete don't come in contact with the wood, saving the wood for future use.
Thanks. Thanks. |

EgunMogaji: I don't understand the chest thumping about floods and flooding.
So because flood occurs in developed countries then it is okay for it occur in Nigeria?
Could we be the guiding light to show the world how it's supposed to be done? How flood can be planned for and controlled?
The fact is that natural disasters has no international boundary and limit. What humans can do is mitigate the risks and some countries do that better than others. @EgunMogaji. I agree. I looked at the map of United States of America. Some states Like Texas as big as our country Nigeria..imagine that. We just don't invest our resources in flood control. Besides, we don't have winter storms, volcanoes, and earthquakes like most of these Western countries do. |

The Umudi Chiefs at the Traditional Ruler's Palace expressed their great shock over such "gross criminal act" in the church take over of their land.

APC government thrives on deceit and propaganda. "You can fool all of the people some of the time, but you cannot fool all of the people all of the time" “unfortunate and highly regrettable”-that's all the spokesperson, Brig. Gen Usman said regarding the loss of lives. Too bad he cannot bring back the soldiers and oil workers who died for a senseless crude oil propect in Borno. May their souls rest in peace. We have to be careful not to waste time looking for oil in places where it is not commercially viable to drill. Oil can be found in a lot of places, but it may not be financially feasible to drill and pump out the crude, especially when the price of crude is $49 |

GoodFaith: What is the average price of Italian and Spanish tiles? What is the average cost of Nigeria tiles? I like the tiles that look like wood @GoodFaith. I don't know the difference between foreign and local tiles anymore. My tiler told me that Royal Tiles are made in India and Goodwill Tiles are made in China and PNT tiles were China tiles, so I went to the market and bought some. Just found out after I had bought them that Royal tiles are manufactured in Ajaokuta, Kogi State and Goodwill tiles are made in Agbara, Ogun State while PNT tiles are manufactured in Magboro, Ogun State. I bought my tiles 60 x 60 for N3200 per sqm and 25 x 40 tiles for N2100 per sqm In March of this year. |
