gogoqueen: Desperate *** my b Whenever you have doubts talk to Nigerians on here or others you know in your country. You are dealing with a person whom you yourself have said is intelligent. We tend to go for what we want by any means. That means if it is a woman we want we can spend money to get her and if it is money some of us can also use a woman to get it. Its good you are keeping an open mind. |

khia: I could careless about the survey, you and I both already knew that the percentage of married women cheating was an exaggeration but that doesn't mean that there aren't married women who cheat in Nigeria. I'd have to be a foetus to believe there aren't. Humans cheat. Cheating is as old as man. There are a thousand reasons why a woman would cheat and there isn't a single one that wont apply to some Nigerian woman. |

khia: All this write up was not necessary. All you are talking about is culture when the survey was taken by individuals. Like I said before, no one knows what goes on behind closed doors. It will cost a lot of money to embark on such a survey if you really want the fact. why would anyone really want to know? |
Romance › Re: New Survey Ranks Nigerian Women As Top Most Unfaithful Wives In The World by WORLDPEACE(m): 11:04pm On Jan 06, 2015 |
khia: Lol Statistics don't lie. Statistics of business men can. The south- east are mainly Catholic and Anglican Christians who practice monogamy. In the south-west you have Christians and Muslims with both Muslims and some Christian groups allowing polygamy. In the north-west majorly Muslims with polygamy and north-east having Muslims and some Christian groups. The culture is so diverse that there are places where women have always been more independent even before colonization while there are places with a highly patriarchal culture. The cross river basin area alone has up to 40 different ethnic groups. There are places where women are not even permitted to be seen with a man they are not related to in public. while you have places where they party in night clubs. This is why I do not believe the survey. We are not homogenous. You must have noticed that on the forum. There are things we may all share in common, but sexual culture among women is not one of those things. |

muafrika: As a bantu, am fascinated by Igbos who I believe are close relatives of our huge population. Now after readingthis informative article, I can draw even more similarities. For example, their love for peacefull existence(This is true upon the observation of the map of Africa, where wars and conflicts gradually reduce as one moves South and into greater concetration of Bantu communities), the physical features and the unique way of relating with strangers and accomodating even whole non-bantu communities that on several instances, took advantage of it to subdue them as with the Hutu/Tutsi Kingdom. Its however disappointing to discover that Igbos know very little about Bantu origins and their migration from the West of Africa. Nigerians generally don't know African history. The military during their era systematically killed the study of history. ninety percent of readers who saw your post will wonder what gibberish you are saying. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Nigerians Blasts Pastor Chris Oyakhilome For 1k Gate Fee Charge by WORLDPEACE(m): 2:48pm On Jan 05, 2015 |
Basildvalour: If he had introduced d gate fee since 2011, why then is that of this year prompting unnecessary drama? Its there in the article: If people are aware he has been collecting gate fee, why then did they troop en-masse to be there? Or are there no other congregation they could have just worshipped in? While the practice is not new in Christ Embassy Church, it led to an uproar in January 2011 after it was first introduced on 31 December, 2010. Many people described it then as extortion, abuse of ‘Jesus’ You see once people start seeing clearly the real meaning of the bible portion that says "do not judge" their eyes will be open. Because anytime they want to question the actions of their pastor it will come into their minds and they will abandon it out of fear. It is a thought blocking tactic pastors use to keep people uneducated. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Nigerians Blasts Pastor Chris Oyakhilome For 1k Gate Fee Charge by WORLDPEACE(m): 1:48pm On Jan 05, 2015 |
Basildvalour: People who could not pay saw it as a means to get shut out because they had a reason why they couldn't be let in.
Tell a man that he cannot go in because the hall is full and you wil see him scale fences or even hang on them just to watch.
Brother, humans still remain d most difficult class of animals to control. Take it to anywhere!
I am not justifying the act of the pastor but only saying maybe, that (over-population) was what he meant to curb by that act. After all, he didn't start seeing money today. He did not start seeing money today and he did not introduce a gate fee this year; he started 2011. Moreover, he cannot boast of 20million every Sunday. Because of the signifance people attach to the first day of the year they are more likely to part with their money. Imagine how some people look at others who did not go to church that night. He is an entrepreneur who knows when demand is high for his services and took advantage of it. |

Basildvalour: Who am I to judge?
Its their choice to go there and not mine
Humans are very difficult to control even when you want to employ force. How many who are determined to see him live will agree to peacefully go back just because the hall is full, if it were u and after u are done wasting your transport, time, effort and risk going there and u are told to go back, will u take it lightly? Illogical. if collecting money is a means to control crowd it means there are people who still got there and turned back. So the transportation time and effort is still wasted. Humans are not that difficult to control if those who can't pay the money still went back. Can you not see clearly that the pastor is an entrepreneur? |

Basildvalour: Maybe he was just trying to cut down overcrowding, just maybe! Ill 1. why must everybody go to that particular venue? He has built the business around himself. He is the brand. 2. Why does he not just tell people to go back ones the place was full. 3. Why are you afraid to scrutinise his action, is it because the bible says do not judge? |
