Hello...this is no joke. Last week saturday, my cousin was returning from Lagos to village & had an accident before Benin & He died instantly. His remains is in the mortuary but his spirit is disturbing.
He'll go to his maternal home as well as his other relatives' houses & be knocking, if one should open de door, he/she wont see anyone.
Has anyone here encounted de same problem because am really scared & is there any solution?

I share your opinion that a true christian follows Jesus. But if you can make the distinction between one who professes Christianity and a true christian, be kind enough to do unto your Muslim neighbour as yourself and not generalise. After all, that's what Jesus would expect of you.

Poverty is not the only cause. Stress can be brought by a lot of things. When people go through prolonged stress their minds go through a change. At such moments your view of the world becomes warped and a new ideology can easily be implanted in your mind. People who brainwash people know the human mind. The state secret services, cults, extreme control groups, extremist religious groups and even the police know this and they all tap into it at different times to different degrees. Everyone can be brainwashed, its just the time it takes that differs from one person to the other.

I don't pray to be in this situation. I know of a woman few years back who her husband left to start staying with his Mistress. when she could no longer take it decided to go fasting and praying. Buh throughout her spiritual exercise she would go to the mistress house knowing the husband had gone to work and beat the living hell out of her. she did this for days until God intervened and her husband returned home, bought her a car and bla bla bla .

The writer of the article like a real adult is accepting responsibility for the role she played in the collapse of her marriage. She is not absolving her husband of blame. She has just personally reached a point in her growth assisted by therapy were she can do that. If her ex never matures to that point that's his loss. You missed my point. What I was saying is that the fact that the majority of people are clamoring for something does not automatically make it right. Truth never changes but the opinions of the masses do. Mature people make mistakes, can be ill- informed or just choose to be outright wicked or selfish. You can try to make people see things your way and vote in the government you think is right, but don't associate democracy with theocracy. The voice of the people is not the voice of God.

The voice of the people is not the voice of God. God cannot be so fickle. Its just one of those sayings that are wrong. Some clergy probably invented it to have power over some monarch. Exodus 23:2 shows that the people can be wrong. it says,"You shall not follow a crowd to do evil ; neither

Let me let you in on some facts now as a qualified historian. Small groups often trace their origins to to great empires by which they are colonized or with which they have the remotest of interactions. it does not mean they are related. Look at all the groups around you. to whom of them do you have serious linguistic affinity? Non is the answer. Most of your words you share with Bini are either royal or religious. And such interaction with Bini is not peculiar to you. Many groups in Ondo state had such interactions and they still share Royal or religious culture with Bini today. The Akures, and Ondo as well as some Ilajes to mention a few have the same culture. The only thing it proves is the extent of Bini's influence during the peak of the empire, nothing more. Of course every group is free to define its own identity, I am just trying to let you know that you are not really different culturally or historically than most groups under the Yoruba classification of languages. Most politicians when running for office meet a lot of people.

For example...Obama is not a born again Christian....yet he attended services at Rick Warren's Church(and even took questions from the congregation).

It is the same thing for a Pastor runing for office...or an Imam.

Once you declare that you are running for office....or even in office....you have to meet and shake and pose with a lot of people. Obasanjo who was a Christian fasted with Muslims. Heads of State that were Muslims issue Christmans Greetings as do Christian leaders for Muslims. And so on.

Thing is....Osibanjo is running for National office....not for Church office. So....unless he was caught in a compromising position with a lady (and if that is your idea of a compromising position....then all those guys who take photos with ladies who are platonic friends are in compromising positions too)...there is nothing wrong with the picture.
