like is not the same as love. if a man wants a woman, he makes a move. she's acting really desperate to date Uti hun..eyaah..too bad. i feel she s being cautious-almost like she feels he's watching her. men are smart..no need playing smart..I like mam bea tho
Let her come to Nigeria. If Uti doesn't work out I don't mind being her plan B. You go fear our magazine cover caption:
M'am Bea & Plan Bea: The Ghana Naija Love story.

You dey pull all this kain stunts at 19years of age. Wetin you go do when you reach 39? That's 2 decades from now.

P.S: A 19 year old can never be this sophisticated.
And she drinks like a man too.

Last year when the chasemates started, Beverly was obviously the favourite over Melvin at the beginning (at least for me and majority of people I know) but as time went by we all know the story...her antics and conversations became shameful to say the least (bear in mind I aint judging her cos no one is perfect but just saying the fact we all saw)...then Melvin with his good boy attitude became the Naija favorite as people decided to accept there was probably a quiet side to Nigerians and not just loudness...however Melvin was never gonna win it...never! Not to insult him but dude is not the most intellectually sound as some of his conversations were just bla bla embarrassing and shallow. Dude was a nice guy but realistically he had no content or depth that could have sold him to Africa. Beverly who had depth kept destroying her chances and made no avenues for redemption

Now onto this year, Lilian came with her own swag and all that but she was no match for Tayo's own character...dude is crazy and loveable at the same time...Lilian always seem to be one way while Tayo showed all sort of colours most especially in the first two weeks with all the crying, apologising and sometimes bipolar attitudes trust me honestly take a sample pf the population and how many people wouldnt want to see more of that in a show that's supposed to be all about entertainment.

I would like a bba where the Naija female rep gets more love than the guy, however until we learn that "its a man's world but the women who know their onions are actually in control" the male reps will keep coming out tops. Look at Ellah who had all it takes to win even the sympathy vote as Uganda has never won it but she threw it all away after playing a great game for weeks...so that's the reality...men do not need to do so much but unfortunately the women need to get smarter and make extra efforts to take what belongs to them and they can afterall every man is born of a woman...Dillish is a typical example...
You don finish the matter. Wetin I go talk again my brother. Abi na my sister? You entered the gender palaver without declaring yours. For real sha, the issue is not as complex as some make it. You have simplified it.
There are two major ways of getting into Harvard. Either you are exceptionally smart or exceptionally sponsored. If you are neither of the above, you can always try your state university. That's the way it is and there are people who can meet the requirements.
Our female reps know what's expected of them; they just have to be it or fake it.

You bring the negative, I bring the positive. The cup appears half empty to you, it's half-full to me. You prefer to be pessimistic, I prefer to be optimistic. We see the same thing, but we choose to interprete them differently. Some people are scared of failure so they assume the worst. Some people have seen failure, but choose not to let it affect their positive view. Your approach to anything determines how your life turns out. Bring your updates, I'll bring mine. Come Sunday, we'll see what happens
And that's basically how you went Plato on us. At thine feet I am seated mine lady. Let thy wisdom nourish our peasant souls and lead us to victory on Sunday. Thine honor I shall forever defend.

THEAMAKA:
Here is my grouse with these self-righteous people that think along the same line as you...
She was "embarrassing" how? Because she twerked too much? Yet your type are the same to complain that Butterphly, M'am Bea, and other borites "slept" their way to the finals. Which females housemates, in their "good" characters, were more entertaining than Lily this season? I'll wait.....
So a borite with good character is preferred in the house over a vibrant Lillian with minor flaws? Got it.

Tayo and all his f*ck-ups didn't it stop the majority from supporting him. After all, everyone says despite his flaws, he was one of the few entertainers this season (true). So why overlook his flaws and accept him as entertaining but not the same for Lilian? Why should her "flaws" be the reason she gets booted out and "well-behaved" borites sleep their way to the finals because of their so-called good character?

And the same ones will turn around to say this isn't a morality show. But that's only when convenient, right?
In life, which extends to TV, we expect different things from each gender. If Tayo for example, is perceived to be exhibiting too many traits of a p'u,s.s'y it would be considered a flaw and he could get thrown out for that.
Women and men can never be judged by the same standards in every area of life as long as our social roles remain different.
TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother Africa 'hotshots' Official Thread by WORLDPEACE(m): 9:35am On Dec 03, 2014
safarigirl:
you dey mind that one? If Tayo doesn't win, Naija will boycott this show. If Naija boycotts this shown they lose all their sponsors and it will be trashed. Is it SA that will keep it going?

Tayo is not Melvin, we accepted Melvin's loss, but make dem no use us play ontop Tayo matter....
This your aluta spirit ehn, I hope there are other outlets for it post BBA.

My liking for him flactuates because of the eating thing. It irritates me. Can't stand people who're always eating, but anyways, why were you scared of him? That's a strange reaction to have for someone on tv.
He came across as a cynic with a sinister plot. He looked like a person with a Machiavellian orientation.

.so u want 2 tell me lily was evicted cos of her circumcision story?i beg 2 differ.many of d ladies dere do talk rubbish.karen even said worst.d bottom line was dat nigerians chose tayo over her.lily didnt do anything dats new or has not been done before bba history.even tayo is no better.
At the time she left, she was more embarrassing than every lady in the house. I can't think of anything she had going for her apart from her twerking which we overdosed on.

What's wrong with that? If played correctly, she could have been used as a spokesperson in a bid to end this barbaric act against young girls.
Its not the kind of subject people discuss over dinner. She did not even look traumatised. She looked like a freak seeking attention the way she presented it.

At the time Lilian left, Tayo was struggling to meet up with her in the hand falling department. Tayo was telling Arthur that he should quit comedy while Lilian was telling Africa that she was circumcised. What lady announces to the world she is frigid? Does that get you sympathy votes?

Uhhhhh..... Yet Karen won, didn't she? She was Denrele's girl and was not very lady-like or "moral" at all. But guess what? Nigerians hyped her, defended her, argued for her, convinced others to overlook her flaws, and focus on her energetic/fun side. IT WORKED. We even nicknamed her "diamond in the rough." By week 5 it went from most Africans hating her to most of them loving her.
It's 50 percent of conduct in the house and the other 50 percent is how the viewers sell you to Africa.
Its true that the actions of others in the house also influence outcomes.

GoodGirl2:
Tell the organizers to pick one ex-MDGN so that you guys can hype over her and forget other country's beauty queens. Get someone with Genevieve's looks.
I don't know if its true that Derenle has as much say as thread mates say he does. But if it is anything close to the truth, there is no hope. Plus I don't really trust beauty Queens, they are only as Ladylike as they are micromanaged. Once they get into the house they might just Ellah up. There are good potential female reps out there sha.
Another thing, MBGN Queens are getting uglier by the year. Absolutely no hope there.

We all know if we had Biguesas as a male rep and someone like Cleo as a female rep, Biguesas will carry the Naija vote, while Cleo will be urged to "go home" grin grin grin

All the past female reps with their good behavior nko, where did it lead them? huh
I even say THANK GOD Karen was competing against Vina in her season. If not ehh......
The balance between being a lady and being fun is very difficult to achieve but gives you an edge. And the fact is most of Denrele's girls can't spell the word ':Lady' though they are fun lovers.
TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother Africa 'hotshots' Official Thread by WORLDPEACE(m): 9:12pm On Dec 02, 2014

As long as the rep is a male wink
As long as she is most importantly a lady. Nigeria won't have anyone but a lady if we must have a female.

Me & him have a "history" on the thread so of course he's going to call me names, including adding his own lies. When have I said snide remarks about Nigerians on this thread except when I was trying to get a point across with safarigirl. Him on the other hand said Nigerian girls are dumb & I defended that. Now I'm the hater? He must have me confused with himself.
We know who the winner will be on Sunday. This is not a good time to play devils advocate. Hop on the bandwagon so you don't miss the champagne shower. You don't gotta be a drinker to be drenched in champagne.

Seventy something pages is nothing to a niggar like me man. I have caught up with you addicts like Karma. Since the last time I was here, Tayo Faniran slew seven lions, milked a giraffe ( yeah, he is that tall) and attended to the small matter of the BBA finals; while yours truly stole trezegah's gift of prediction and bottled Sheila's fury.

So y'all better show me love or feel the wrath of a dragon!

King kong is indeed a true friend, only a true Friend can tell you when you stray. If na some people here dem go go there go dig the hole deeper for him to bury himself... We for hear " we love those punchlines, keep it up". " Fight makes people respect and fear you, keep fighting" " Africa loves your market woman attitude..keep it up". I'm happy I missed it though. Wanted to see his Baby Mama not his friend
All of you that are waiting to see cougar lady, wait till the victory party. When the guy pockets the moola, he can expose his baby mama to the world. There is no benefit in being famous and broke.

You aren't a fan sad?

Tatts look nice while someone is still young, but once the skin starts to wrinkle they're unsightly. Saw this old, white Hell's Angels biker dude the other day. He had this wrinkled, fading, red heart tatt on his upper arm & to me it looked like a sun dried tomato. U-G-L-Y.
I am dark anyway, so it won't even work.

But Tayo might see the shine & think of fireflies grin

BTW, I dislike her tatts, they look trashy & skanky. Never was a fan of titt tatts & tramp stamps (the tatts on the lower back). I love tatts though. I'd do a sleeve if my job weren't so conservative.
I get tired of things that are visual too easily to want a tattoo. The only tattoo I have ever liked is the one on Pharrell Williams' neck.
