Hello everyone, I've been following this thread and I must confess that I've learnt a lot thanks to Justwise and other contributors.

However, I didn't come across some questions which apply to my situation and I would appreciate your inputs as I plan to apply for standard visitor's visas for my family.

The main purpose of this trip is for our 3 month old baby spend some time with my wife's family in the UK as he's their first grandchild. We don't have sufficient fund for the trip in one particular account so we would like to combine all our accounts both personal and joint for the application in order to stand a better chance at obtaining the visas. Is it better to transfer all the fund into one account or leave them the way they are and explain in a covering letter? Should we both select co-sponsor in the application? For the cost of the trip and amount available for the trip, should we both input the total cost of the trip as a family in our individual applications or should I input this amount in my application while my wife inputs zero or should we divide the total amount between us and input an amount based on our account balances. I also read somewhere that our applications can be linked, please how is that done and which of the UK visa application sites allows this?

Also, our salaries are never the same in any two months based on the nature of our jobs and in addition, I usually receive a big percentage of my annual salary at the beginning of the year while the rest is spread over the year. Should we take an average of our salaries for the six months we would submit our bank statement as our monthly salaries or should it be an average of our total annual salaries?

Just like some of those already in U.S sleeping with one eye open. U.S immigration is tight for now. Also since those guys mentioned Tillerson/Trump and his clan are into notice me attitude, one shouldn't relax like before when trying to get entrance into U.S.

Am actually new here and seriously need some advice concerning my intended trip to the US. I travelled in 2013 for a conference with a 2years b1/b2 business/conference visa. Afterwards,i renewed it in 2015 through drop-box and they gave me another 2years but i did not travel due to the workload in my company at that time. My visa expired in this month of march 2017 and i decided to renew it to enable me attend this year's conference of which i have been issued another 2years visa. The issue now is that i am pregnant and am suppose to give birth after the conference. so i am planning for the conference and delivery when i travel but at the same time am afraid hearing all manner of things that happens at the US point of entry. What are my chances? Please helppp!

Hello guys, I've been seeing here the 'half fees payment' thing before visa application but i still need some clarifications. Please, how about if one pays £3k out of £10k and also shows enough money in parent's account statement to cover the remainder of the tuition + maintenance fee, will visa be denied such a person?

Can someone travel to Naija on April 18 (green card holder) from the States and return first week of May(4th or 5th) and not have any problems both ways?
Mind you that scarcity of passport booklets dey now both in Naija and the consulates and embassies. Thanks.

Hello everyone, pls I need your advice. My husband and I plan to go study in Fall 2017 in the US. We both have our admission letter and we also both got partial scholarship. We are attending the same school in New Jersey. so this means that we will both be applying for F1 VISA INDIVIDUALLY and not F1 and F2 visa. What do you advice we do? shd one person apply for F1 while the other apply for F2? or shd we both apply for F1? Do we apply together for F1? or shd we apply individually? What are our chances of getting student visa since we are both going to study.

Also I had my son 1yr and 4 moths ago in the us. My husband and I did NOT take medicare or is it medicade it is called. We pay monthly for my son bill since we gave birth to him but for the last 5 -6 months we have not been able to meet up monthly payment as I lost my job and my husband office has not been consistent with salary. What are our chances as we plan to go to the us embassy to apply for f1?

I have called the hospital several times to ask for a smaller payment plan as I cant meet the previous naymore but they keep saying that they cant help with a smaller fee.

Also, yes i still have the plan of getting bsc, during my visit to London i visited some colleges, and still expecting their response.. Aside the easter holiday, have a friend whose graduation is on may, had the mind of going for it then use the opportunity to meet the professors, make enquiries about my course of study etc, then also visit some schools....
