Rice is scarce all over the world because the covid affected planting season of most grower countries and if Nigeria is not growing enough, it will affect the pockets. I watched price of rice doubled within 2 months in where I live and this is a country that grows and exports rice. It's just easy for you people to sink your teeth in one thing and not let go because of personal frustration. There's no "self deception" anywhere, it's what it is and people can see it for themselves. Dollar is not Nigeria's currency and having it in the mouths of everyone is an indictment on every Nigerian. I trust president Tinubu to do something about it. I don't like the word 'lucky' but we are that he's the one in charge during this difficult time.

Nigeria's economy was parked in a ditch and it needs to be pulled out first before it can start running. President Tinubu is still the best hand but he's no magician. At least you can see how great he is already, the presidents who had oil @$140/barrel with over $50 billions cushion couldn't pay N35,000 but president Tinubu is paying it @$35 /barrel and just $3 billion, he should be commended. Transforming Nigeria to Lagos will be wonderful, he left Lagos better than he met it, leaving Nigeria better than he met it will be great too and I know he will do it.

Excuses galore!

Black people have been ruling S.Africa for almost 30 years now and since haven't run it to the ground even with cold sanctions by the west because the blacks owners are in charge. Nigeria on the other hand has gone from tens of $$billions in excess in 15 years to zero and still put the country in a ditch. The truth is, the average S.African life is more valuable and that's why thousands aren't being killed annually by domestic terrorist and police.

I'm not S.African, but whether 30 or 30k, let people make decisions who they want amd don't want in their country, you have no right to complain.

The indigenous people had their role but mostly as menial hands, up until 3 decades ago.

Now that the two Ayee cult kings who are responsible for Mohbad's death have met Verydarkman that exposed them that "Samklef told him in a group that, Naira Marley's punishment is not about Mohbad's death but because he helped Tinubu to win the election" now expect him to sing a different tune. Some people said that Verydarkman has been working with Iyabo Ojo and friends all along and that was why he didn't come out and say what Samklef told him immediately untill when he was called out. So I told a vlogger that Verydarkman was probably waiting for his own share and since it wasn't coming fast enough, he went off script. I also told people from the get-go that I don't trust Nigerian police and never did but would love a pleasant surprise which as things stand, will never happen.

Verydarkman has been wined and dined with criminals and will be paid off, he will no longer be able to tell the little truth he told in the past.

Other Africans come on nairaland and other social media and see the living breathing hate you unleash on each other and they are like, they won't let you come and spread that in their countries. They see Nigeria not as a country but a place full of criminals and confusion. I watched a Kenyan youtuber meeting a Nigerian lady from Calabar or so at a vacation spot and the one of the first thing he told her within 3 mins of meeting was about Yoruba and igbos that "they hate each other"

I was surprised when I heard he gave birth in Grady hospital, a place that even poor people are afraid to go, plus the hospital is not known for child birth, it's just a general hospital known for level 4 trauma.
