I thought Ondo is in Yorubaland and it's no where near Igboland, so why are igbos crying more than the bereaved all over this thread? Yoruba are in trouble and so is every ethnic group in Nigeria, so unless igbos think they have more to lose, they should reduce their gnashing of teeth. Enough, Igbos are not different from Fulani and not in a position to even talk about any of this let alone pretend to know the solution, after all, won't it be to your amusement if land opens and swallow Yoruba people whole?

If there's nothing wrong with Yoruba, how could they have allowed igbos in Lagos?

Like Fulani like igbos, though you just go about it differently but same result.

One wants cattle colony and the other wants state of residence, both of them want equal right with their host communities. Fulani and igbos are two sides of the same coin, one wants to rule in their host community and other wants to be the security. forget all the optics, the eagle eyes see past the surface.

Fulani is Yoruba's problem number 2, Igbo is number 1. So you can see why it's a zero sum game for Yoruba. If we decide to take Igbo on first Fulani may not necessarily support igbos if not to be able to use them in 2023, and if we take on Fulani, Igbo will definitely want to side them because Igbo must just stick it to their number one enemy. So we must have an unconventional response which is Lagos, if Lagos goes down, Yorubaland will be free, and out of the ashes of Lagos will rise a more vibrant and better Erekosun(Eko) as it was intended before the invasion. When Lagos is collapsed, everyone will leave for their region when money is no longer flowing.

You didn't say if it's only on weekends like most people do and how much you actually drink, if you have worked hard all week, it's ok to reward yourself, just don't over do it. An 8oz glass of wine is a drink, and with 2 glasses most girls can still hold down a conversation and even drive home, at least I do. I popped a rose on Friday night and by Sunday afternoon it was gone

I never thought I'd use this word to ever describe myself. Sadly, I am an alcoholic. It has taken me a great deal of embarrassment and pain to finally come to this conclusion.

I'm a female in my early 20's. One of the first things people comment on when we have a conversation is how intelligent I am. Good enough, I fair well academically and have done so for as long as I can remember. There is this dark side of me however. I am an alcohol addict.

I've read about my condition, especially at times when I swear I would never indulge in excessive drinking anymore. A person like me is called a functioning alcoholic. I started drinking as a way to forget some emotional and troubles but as I see, this in no way helps especially longterm.

I drink everything from wine, spirits to liquor. I go out with friends that drink. I go out to drink alone. I buy some alcohol to drink at home. I go from laying on the bed to walking out to buy alcohol. I just drink, drink and drink. I'm very ashamed of this. Sincerely, I want to stop. I want to make more meaningful decisions and relationships.

Please, how do I go about this? What can I do? Is there someone/a Group that helps with this kind of condition? Please help me.

Please help me move this to the permanent site. I'll be reading for suggestions.

The painful thing is that the herdsmen are actually not doing these but specifically recruited elements who appear as herdsmen. Why has Saudi Arabia after years of buying so much weapons not had war in their country? It's because they are smart. Countries update their weapons and send message across to would-be oppressor that "don't even think about messing with me" when they announce buying arms. Weapons are made for sale and the countries buying are adults. If Trump refuses to sell Europe or Russia will, so it's up to countries to be smart about their affairs and not let greed make them kill their people. Nigeria is another country that's in the process of making weapons dealers richer cos some parts of the country is holding others against their will and it will take violence to break free. So stop talking about people who are in business to make money, give credit to Trump for breaking the code of war and not towing the path laid down for him by his predecessors to go to war with Russia and N.Korea while Iran attempts to wipe Israel off the map.

I can't really speak on others cos I was either not born or too young but I can speak on both Tinubu and Gani Adams. Tinubu is THE only Yoruba defender we have now and this is why igbos hate him. Tinubu is the only reason Lagos is still in the hands of Yoruba. I don't believe Gani Adams can give his life for Yoruba cause, his utterances during the elections do not support that. He's been trying to go into politics too. In fact he shouldn't have been given that title.

Crying more than the bereaved. Who sent you and what shipload of burden are you carrying and sinking under? The whole thing has Igbo handwriting on it and only people with brains can see through your charades. 70% chance that this crime was committed by igbos to pit Yoruba against Fulani or the killing was done just as their usual hustle. You will see Tinubu was well on point if you can separate it from your emotion. Some of us know where exactly you igbos stand in all of this, so don't think you are fooling anyone. Finally, start to mind your business, or how are you going to manage your own problems if you die in Yoruba's own? Let Yoruba handle their problems. One thing you keep forgetting is, you igbos will leave Yorubaland before Fulani, you igbos are Yoruba's number 1 enemy and no other ethnic group comes close.
