I gave my baby coconut water after 4 weeks or so, I can't remember and it worked.

Mas pls i need advice. My baby of 1week has been recieving phototherapy for jaundice. The SBE value got to 16, and the doc told me.to stop breastfeeding. I stopped, presently the value is at 10.9. But the doc is telling me i wont be discharged until it reduces to about the value of 6. But from all i hv googled online it seems like jaundice can also be treated with sunrays and will stop before the baby is 2weeks. Pls I need advice. Should i ask to be discharged or keep waiting for the value to drop to 6

Pls listen to your doctor, my baby stayed in the hospital for some days before the jaundice cleared off.

I used steam inhalation, a doc also prescribed nasal drop that loosened the mucus. I used the traditional method to get it out. Other mummies will chip in

Steam to still retain their nutrients then blend with crayfish.

Broccoli, chicken and sweet potato. Do same.

Cook unripe plantain, with onions, crayfish and fish(mackerel or shiny) precisely, small ugu leaf/spinach(owo leaf as called in the local market) then add a half teaspoon of palm oil. When soft, you blend.
Don't use milk for this particular recipe to get the consistency you want. The water you used in cooking the meal should be enough to get it. Just don't let the water dry up.

Mamas pls I need a trusted and tested baby soap, powder/cream for baby rashes. The rashes on my baby keep spreading and when old ones die, new ones appear. I have changed her sponge..I had to start using savlon in her bath water, Dr said its not measles or chicken pox and prescribed antibotics, allergin and Endix G cream for her..Dr also advised I stop using the coconut oil I have been using as cream for her and use vegas. I suspected maybe she was reacting to wheats and oats cereals which I newly introduced and discontinued, still the rashes continue and it itches her. Pls I will appreciate any advice. If you can get to those alagbo sellers, buy moju. That's what I used for my son when rashes will not let us be. I applied twice a day. Got if for N200
